Mrs Faye Frost came this morning to assess our house, after a few winters of ending up with the black stuff around bedroom windows and the quality of air not feeling good we threw the towel in and knew we should do something, expected it to cost a few but air is air, instead of selling anything she simply gave me a very honest answer and that was about advice on temp control and how we could solve the problem ourselves, she is clearly a very knowledgeable lady and broke it all down so it felt logical and made sense to me.
I had seen some negative reviews also but saw through the 'nastiness' aspect and so glad I did, if you have a real problem with mould she will tell you and help you, but if you don't have a 'real' problem she will be honest, so refreshing, thank you Faye, and acorn for your straightforward honesty and advice

I am very pleased with the professional service received from David at Acorn Preservation today. He arrived at my property as scheduled and gave me a very professional and helpful review on some damp under my window. He was very complimentary on my home and put my mind at ease with a small job to fix.

David came round for a survey on our bungalow that is suffering from damp issues. He has given us great advice on how to deal with these issues, and was very helpful and informative. Would definitely recommend.

I highly recommend the services of Acorn Preservation. They are at all times professional, efficient and they did an excellent job for us when treating our loft for woodworm. They offer wonderful customer service and you can feel very confident calling on this company.

The staff at the company are hard working and good at what they do I worked for this company for a short time. The owner David Barnard is nothing but a con man doing jobs that do not need doing he has no qualifications only his two work actually know what to do and how to do it. He has lied to HMRC he messes around with taxes I:e tryes to pocket them and lies he is a video man to work for or work with I would avoid this man at all cost and only deal with his staff as there honest hard workers

Previous work repeatedly fails under guarantee.
Impossible to make contact to arrange remedial works.
Guarantees are worthless.

This site appears to be used by aggressive competitors, who seek to discredit a highly qualified and professional company. Beware of such dishonest representations!

Rude and aggressive
David arrived at the wrong house and when I questioned he hadn’t called he became aggressive and rude
Terrible customer service from a man who claims he owns the business
I wouldn’t recommend this company at all , even when he knows he called to the wrong address he still refused to apologise
I will take my business elsewhere, do not use this company

Friendly receptionist but very rude surveyor who did not want to answer reasonable questions about his survey.

We're now a returning customer as we were so impressed with Paul's work when he sorted out our wet wall and stairwell (with trunking) last year. He's doing a lot more for us this year and there'll no doubt be a lot more to come in the future.

Highly recommended builder who'll give almost anything a go!

(just make sure he's provided with regular cups of tea!!)
