The job of upgrading my central heating system, proved more challenging than expected. However, the team worked so hard, to complete the work to a very high standard.
John especially, put many hours in, even ensuring the pipe work, fitted in with the kitchen decor; in fact it looks so good, I shan’t box it in.

I was recommended Active Plumbing & Heating by supplier Genius Hub (Smart Heating Controls). I have spoken with Tom & Emma, who have been amazing to get things organised. Today, John came to our home (in Bicester) to complete "Phase 1" of project, installing new TRVs to our cast iron radiators. Our cast iron radiators caused some challenges for John, but he kept his cool and did amazing job installing the TRVs, commissioning them and recalibrating the boiler.
"Phase 2" of project is to take place next week (setting up & commissioning) the Genius Hub system. Based on the experience I've had so far, I'd highly recommend Active Plumbing & Heating to complete your home heating and plumbing projects!!

Active Heating have just carried out an annual service of my LPG boiler, and the essential repairs.
The service was second to none...they turned up on time, were efficient and courteous, and all at a reasonable cost.
I would have no hesitation in recommending them as an excellent efficient plumbing and heating specialist.

I used Active Plumbing & Heating to fit a new System Boiler, including power flush, new gas pipe and a smart thermostat. Tom and the team (John, Corey, Ross, Emma) were excellent through-out the process, from consultation, to the final installation. The job was thorough, and I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Tom and his team upgraded my boiler to a Daikin heat pump system. The job was very complicated and took a full week to complete but the guys were extremely efficient, tidy and did the whole job to the highest standard of workmanship.

Despite the supplier sending the wrong boiler the engineers went out of their way to get the right boiler and then proceeded to do all the work of updating my heating system and fitting same. This is an old house and most things are not straight forward but nothing seemed to phase them. All that running upstairs must keep them fit. I'm very pleased with the result and would recommend highly.

When making the booking I was told about the Call Out fee of £90+VAT.
Friendly lad, seemed to know his job. Unfortunately the promised quote for the replacement part has not been done, so I am stuck with a sick boiler and having to find another company to do the job. Expensive waste of time.

Last week John of Active Plumbing and Heating installed a new Worcester Boiler for us, replacing our 21 year old Potterton.
He did a fantastic job , which was not entirely straight forward, as it involved changing the location for the new boiler from downstairs to an airing cupboard in the bathroom upstairs.
John is hugely knowledgeable and experienced and also very helpful and nice. He explained everything as he went along and in the end even rebuilt the original shelves in the airing cupboard, so that we would not lose any much needed storage space.
It would be difficult to imagine having somebody better to do the job.
John was assisted by his apprentice Tomy, who already shows great promise and is an equally nice person.

The team were so approachable and friendly from the start. They did a great job on putting in new boiler and radiators offering advice and solutions as needed. Tidy workers who also worked hard to complete the job on schedule. The boys even went the extra mile to help me move some heavy items that werent to do with the plumbing! Emma in the office is an excellent addition to the service, so responsive and personable. I would recommend these guys to everyone and will certainly use them again in the future.

John installed new taps in my bathroom recently and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, John was nothing short of superb. He was friendly, professional and punctual, and always sort to get me the best deal. I will definitely be using John for more work- he is the best!
