Poor communications and slow

Poor communications and slow. Took a week for Addnature to identify the item I ordered had been incorrectly listed as being in stock when I ordered.

Zero responses, Refund never given

Ordered a backpack from Addnature, which arrived promptly but damaged. They helped me through the return process, which I managed to do, however after that that was the last I had ever heard from them. It’s been 6 weeks since I returned the bag and I’ve sent them 5 emails since asking for any kind of update. Zero responses. No refund. I honestly feel scammed. This is unacceptable.

I’m still clinging onto the idea that there are possibly severe delays on their end but honestly after 6 weeks, it’s hard not to lose hope.

Never buying anything from this company, which is also incidentally not even in the UK despite the .uk domain.

Happy with their service.

I ordered an awning that nobody else had in stock. The price was good, and it arrived within the expected time frame. I was sent updates on its progress and was able to track via UPS.
I don't normally leave reviews, but thought i would this time because i nearly didn't order from this company after seeing a lot of bad reviews..... but thought i would give them a chance, and thankfully it all went ok.

Excellent experience

I bought a Bruner Action Sofa, it was literally the only company selling them that I could find that was delivering to Ireland (they were sold out most places) and it was also the cheapest. I had read the reviews but as it was a present for my sister that she really wanted (I have one, highly recommend) I had to risk it. Well, I am so happy with the service. They were very responsive to my emails (I had emailed them pretty quickly as I wanted certainty that they actually had them in their warehouse), and the tracking information was updated as it progressed and I ended up getting it about a week ahead of the estimated date of delivery. UPS were also brilliant when I rang them when it had arrived in the depot in Dublin. All in all I had a great experience with the company and can happily recommend.

I really don't like leaving one-star but...

I really don't like leaving one-star reviews but my recent experience with Addnature was so ridiculous it was almost comedic.

First, the wrong item was shipped to me. That's not the end of the world; simple 'send back and we'll sort it' kind of solution. So I sent back the wrong items - after one week of awaiting instructions - and that was that.

Then I heard absolutely nothing. What was supposed to happen was that the 'right' items would be sent to me once the 'wrong' ones were returned. The 'wrong' items arrived back with Addnature but the ones I actually ordered never came. So I waited, emailed again, and still nothing. I tried calling and the lines are always closed; tried emailing again and no response.

Three weeks later I got an update only saying "You have been refunded and we cannot send your items at this time." So three weeks of waiting, with little to no information, only to be told they could not fulfil the order anyway.

And now, when it comes to a refund, even that is proving problematic as someone has clearly put in to refund me multiple times, meaning I have lots of preliminary transactions awaiting movement on my account.

I used to love Addnature two to three years ago but slowly their customer service has disappeared. Sure, the pandemic probably hits staffing and supply hard, but it feels like the company has shut down or is in trouble or something. Any service you come to expect has dropped off of a cliff.

Unfortunately then I cannot recommend Addnature at all at this time. It's a shame as I think they used to offer an affordable, reliable alternative to the likes of Amazon and such. But right now? It's a mess.

Brilliant price. No problems !

Ordered an outwell air tent and carpet. Saved £400 on the tent as it was last years model. Shipped from Germany. From order to delivery was about ten days. Very happy with my purchase. Just ordered a camping table yesterday.
Highly recommend

Tediously slow service

Tediously slow service. When I contacted customer service it took a week to reply and when they did, the tone of the reply was very much “don’t bother us because we’re busy”.
The secret to successful online retail is prompt service, transparency and good customer service.
Although the price was good I wouldn’t bother in the future.

Good service

I was a bit anxious after reading some of these reviews but the jacket I ordered arrived within a week despite coming from Germany and having delays at customs thanks to Brexit. I was kept informed the whole time and my Patagonia jacket is perfect. Great company.

Terrible at responding.

Slightly concerned initially but had great service

I was a little concerned about some of the negative reviews so paid with Paypal just in case of any issues. But I had no problems. The order went through fine and received a genuine item (Rab Kinetic 2.0). Yes there is a fairly 'long' wait (8 days from order to delivery) and came via DPD. This delayed delivery is specified on the website which made me more comfortable to order, despite knowing that others have had delays. It also mentions no import duty post-Brexit so that was good to know. (Just for info, a friend ordering from a French company was told they would only have to pay import duties if the order was over £135). I do prefer to buy from UK companies wherever I can but this was such a good price I made an exception this once! Kept informed from DPD etc as you'd expect. I can't speak for anyone else and sorry others have had less positive experiences. But for me it was all good!

NON existent customer service

One star is too many to award this awful company. So much for the efficiency of German companies.
A month ago my order was shipped & has never turned up. Covid is being blamed, by them, for taking 5 days to respond to queries. If only I were to get a response in 5 days, I'd be happy. I got one response, simply saying my goods would arrive shortly. Guess what? They haven't. If it took me even 1 day to respond to email queries from my customers, I'd have gone out of business years ago.

I also see here on Trustpilot that Addnature have not responded to any feedback on here for over a year.

Don’t expect a refund

The item I ordered did arrive but was returned due to not being needed after all. No response to emails now since it was returned. Emailed proof of the return no reply to emails. No phone number to call. Escalated to Barclaycard to sort out not. Really poor communication and customer service. Avoid !

the week before last I placed an order ( or thought I did) for 2 camping chairs and paid for them through Paypal...but when I went back from the paypal site I got a ''ooops something has gone wrong '' and that was it..so when I checked to see if I had placed an order ..nothing , nada ,zilch... I tried for about 40 mins to fill n the complaint form on the website ..to no avail...next day I emailed to tell them my story and got a reply saying they could find nothing...so I told them I had all the receipts from Paypal and have been waiting a reply from them ..thinking I was in for a long protracted fight... today arrived my 2 camping chairs and I am astonished...someone in the company obviously heeded my email and went looking for my payment in their accounts..found it and sent me the chairs...and they arrived today ..so it has been less then 2 weeks since all this began.....I think a huge part of your problem is your website ...

Trust the negative reviews…AVOID!

Don’t normally write reviews but this company is exceptionally bad. Order took a while but arrived as expected but was faulty. I returned as requested but have now been waiting over 5 weeks. I’ve received 1 email in that file saying it could take 4 weeks as the product is sent to Scarpa and they need to respond. I’ve chased and chased and nothing. No replacement, no refund. Please avoid. I ignored the negative reviews and I am now paying

Avoid!

Despite using a .co.uk domain this company is actually based in Germany. Ordered a tent carpet and footprint on the 17th of July and their system has been showing the items as 'sent' ever since. However the DPD link they've emailed to me just constantly shows 'Order information has been transmitted to DPD.' AVOID.
