Had to return for second visit. First visit the repair was incomplete and had to wait 10 days for second appointment to put it right. Altogether with the long wait first appointment it totalled 3 week... See more

Disappointing appliances, lack of care from the company and unprofessional service
Waited for more than a month after booking an appointment before the engineer finally attended.
His advice was generic and had nothing to do with the problem we had with the appliance.
Months after the engineer left and still following his advice (like we we were doing and before he came), the problem is still existant and on-going.
You pay whether or not appliance is repairable
While I like the idea of a fixed price repair, you pay the full price whether the appliance can be repaired or not. They do offer a discount on a replacement appliance, but when I asked no new fridge freezer was available for two months, and we could not wait that long.
The device is excellent but delivery was sub par
The device is excellent though questionable delivery service from AO as it got delivered to a completely wrong address. The device has been a godsend in the heatwaves!
The fix needed two visits.
The fix needed two visits.
The 1st visit simply cleaned the condenser filter which was very dirty. I was then told all should be OK.
Unfortunately, the problem recurred and I had to reopen the call a few weeks later. The 2nd visit proved successful as the main circuit board was replaced and all has been fine since.

Great kit and fairly straightforward registering the warranties, 5years give us peace of mind!
Good product but hard to fit
Good product, tricky to fit compared to other brands. Complex method involving lots of measuring and drilling the door.
Never known a well know company to operate in this way!!
I am still waiting g for AEG customer care to come back to me about my complaint.
I brought a £900+ fridge freezer 3yrs 9months ago and the repair company have said it’s unrepairable.

Awful delivery service and a very disappointing overall experience. My fridge arrived damaged, and I've been waiting for a refund for over a month with no resolution. Customer service has been slow and unhelpful throughout the process.
On top of that, the quality of their products isn't what it used to be. They no longer offer the same value they did years ago, and I don't think they're worth the price anymore. I wouldn't recommend them based on my experience.
I would like to have gave higher star…
I would like to have gave higher star rating but after buying several AEG appliances ( 1 cooker hood, 1 induction hob, 1 electric fan oven, integrated fridge and integrated freezer) we were promised a £300 cashback when we sealed a kitchen fit from stowmarket Wickes Suffolk but after several attempts online we found it too complicated and repeatedly failed time and time again even after getting the fitter back to dismantle the hob and the hood to reveal the serial numbers why o why this cashback process can't be made easier for the non millennials is beyond me
Kind regards

Bought an air con unit
A god send in this heat. For a small room only and works well but very loud. Easy to set up. Instructions were clear.
The engineer was first class
The engineer was first class. He kept me informed so it was clear why and what he was doing. This more than made up for the poor logistics and process for booking times. He saved the day.The change of time for the appointment was ignored
Flex is 30cms shorter than previous tumble drier…
The new tumble drier has a 30cms shorter flex than the previous one. The John Lewis staff suggested using an extension lead which the instructions say must not be used.

Not very impressed that I wasn’t given an appliance instruction booklet upon delivery as the only pdf I could download wasn’t worth the effort!
Freezer problem became also a fridge problem
The first engineer (Matt) was rude and obnoxious and wrongly diagnosed the freezer problem as a faulty compressor so claimed he needed to order a new one. The second engineer (Sam) had a much more acceptable attitude but said it wasn't the compressor and proceeded to disable the whole fridge freezer appliance saying it was something to do with the valve and he had the necessary replacement parts in his van. The engineer then abandoned the job at c. 6pm on the hottest June day on record. It was a Friday (26th June) and we had to wait a further 12 hot summer days (8th June) without a fridge. Nearly all of the food we had in the fridge was wasted. Furthermore, on the three occasions we had the Pacifica engineer visit we had to plan to be home disrupting three whole days and causing a lot of inconvenience.
