Great service, great tour

I contacted African Budget Safaris to book a stay at Sabina Wildlife Reserve. Harriet quickly responded and provided the needed information and kept me informed throughout the process of confirming the reservation and setting up travel to and from Sanbora. Payment was set up via a secure site. Our stay was simply amazing. If I am ever fortunate to return to South Africa, I will definitely be contacting African Budget Safaris to help plan that trip.

Hats off to Claire at African Budget Safaris (ABF) for putting together the perfect safari at a reasonable price. Incredible customer service to tailor our needs at a great price point. ABF values each customer and works hard to find the right safari at the right price. I cannot say enough good words to properly thank Claire and the ABF staff. 104 countries and all continents visited.

I have had the most amazing Safari trip, booking through Bronwyn, at African Budget Safaris. The camp was fantastic, as well as the guides, camp managers, and the delicious fresh food prepared every evening from the in camp Chef. Best of all was always the iconic African wildlife on the doorstep. Bateleur Safari camp was just perfect, especially as a solo female traveller. I cannot thank Bronwyn and her lovely team at African Budget Safaris for yet another memorable Wildlife Safari trip.

African Budget Safaris were super helpful for me organizing my first trip to Kenya. Chris suggested various safari options to fit what I was looking for in terms of experience, locale, and price range and helped me decide which to choose. The package I ended up booking was fantastic, really exceeded expectations for wildlife and hospitality! Doing a bank transfer from the UK was a bit difficult but Chris was very helpful and patient with that, too. With so many safaris to choose from, it was good to have expert guidance with finding and booking the right trip.

I cant say enough good things about African Budget Safari's and Claire. She went above and beyond to make our experiences exceptional. All her suggestions of hotels, activities and tours were perfect. Everything we did and where we stayed was fantastic! And every transfer, tour guide and lodge was perfect not one problem with any of it. I will only recommend African Budget Safari's for people traveling to Africa....no resaon to go with any other company...it was an amazing experience and value.

The communication was great, the whole booking process was very transparent and the experience of the booked Tour was magnificient. Not a Thing to complain about!

If I could give this 4 million stars I would! The whole trip - minute by minute was amazing and felt customized just for us. The cadence, the guides, the drivers, the staff at every location were beyond expectations. Truly life changing and beyond anything we imagined.

I really recommend African Budget Safaris

This was our first safari to Africa and we was seeking more of an adventure than a comfortable stay in luxury lodges. African Budgets Safaris salesrep Daniel understood what we was looking for and we bought the "11 Day Botswana Camping Safari - Delta, Chobe & Victoria Falls" which gave us a memory for life!
The tour operator in Botswana: "Bushways Safari" gave us the best of service and our guide O.T. and the chef K.D. was so knowledgeable, friendly and professional so we give 5-star both to African Budget Safaris and their local partner Bushways Safari.

I did not know what to expect when we took the safari. But our experience of the short 7 day excursion into Namibia with Nomad had met or exceeded our expectations.
The Nomad Team of Calypso, Jojo and Lin were excellent, going way and above to accommodate various requests. We wanted to have a feel of what being in a desert is like and this certainly was the case- we were wowed by the amazing scenery during our trip. Highlights for us would be the Fish Eye and Sesriem Canyons, Dune 45 and the personalized cooking with meals together which provided a more relaxed setting for us to get to know our fellow travelers.
We did not catch much wild life but we understand that it would not be the highlight of this segment of the safari and we were not expecting so.
Accommodation was also above our expectations and we enjoyed the camaraderie of our group very much.
Though the duration of this trip was short, the experience has whetted our appetite for more and we certainly will be looking at Nomad for a future safari to Etosha/ Okavango.

We are very happy with your service in providing the detailed and helpful info and for organizing all the arrangements for this safari. We will be choosing African Budget Safaris for our next adventure in Africa!

We had an excellent experience from first contact by email to the completion of our safaris in Tanzania & Botswana.
Claire put together a remarkable package for us starting in Arusha and finishing in Victoria Falls.
Guides were great at getting us close encounters with wildlife and very knowledgeable about animals and informative about local culture and history.
Accommodations were varied but all very comfortable with warm & welcoming staff.
Transfers were seamless.

This has been an exceptionally wonderful experience. My first time doing an African Safaris. I didn't know what to expect and Africa Budget Safaris made sure that everything was arranged and vendors used were exceedingly excellent. Thank you Claire and your amazing team, this will not be my last.

This was a magical experience curated by African Budget Safaris.The hotels we stayed at on the safari were amazing! The staff were so helpful and welcoming! Our safari guide from Asili Tours was so wonderful. He kept us safe and made sure we had an awesome experience! He was so knowledgeable and helpful! Our wedding was the best day of our lives! Everything was planned so well and it was so awesome getting married in the Serengeti under an acacia tree! The Massai chief who married us was so kind and the singing and drumming was amazing! We will never forget it! Our honeymoon in Zanzibar was terrific! The hotel was beyond all expectations, so beautiful and right on the ocean. It was a great experience after all the safari days. Thank you so much for giving us such an amazing experience that we will never forget!

We had the pleasure of working with Harriet to arrange our travel, lodging, game drives, and tourist attractions in Sabi Sands and Tanzania. She communicated promptly and professionally, making a seamless trip for us. All details were as described and we were pleasantly pleased as many things exceeded our expectations.

Daniel at ABS was great in arranging my trip. His response was always fast and helpful. I had to change my arrival and departure flight times multiple times and he made the changes to my itinerary without any problems. I am happy to report that I absolutely loved my Zanzibar holiday. After climbing Mount Kilimanjaro it was the perfect way to relax. The hotels were beyond my expectations. The first hotel I had a lovely room near the breakfast area. The room was large and the bathroom had a large tub, perfect for soaking my sore muscles. The second resort was larger with a beautiful pool area and nice dinner buffet with live music. My room was a cottage right next to the beach. I had perfect sunrise views right from my bed! The last resort was smaller more intimate but again my room was large and the hotel was clean and perfectly maintained. All of my tours were great too. I felt they were the right length and the guides were excellent. Very knowledgeable and easy to understand. I found the tour of the slave museum especially moving. All in all I enjoyed the trip and can’t think of even one thing to complain about.

I’ve been planning a road trip across Africa for sometime now. Having contacted several companies, ABS stood out after speaking to Daniel who was so responsive and informative. We decided on a 20 day trip from Cape Town to Victoria Falls, Daniel organised the pre and post hotels and all transfers. The trip from start to finish went smoothly and I will definitely use this company again. We had a better experience going through ABS than others on the trip who went direct and we got a better deal!

We just got back from our third African trip organized by Bronwyn at African Budget Safaris, and as we've come to expect, everything went off without a hitch and we had a fabulous trip.

The accommodations were better than expected for our budget and most importantly we saw a TONNE of animals!

We stayed at Chobe Elephant Camp for three nights. This was a great spot close to the National Park. The rooms had AC, indoor and outdoor showers, plus they did daily laundry for free. Oh and it was open bar, we really were spoiled! Food was excellent and greatly varied. I highly recommend the river cruise. It makes for a long day as you leave the lodge at 6am and get back around 6pm, but you see so much! And experiencing the animals from the water is a whole new experience.

Our next three nights were at Khwai Guest House in the Okavanga Delta. You have to change your expectations here as it's in the middle of nowhere and runs off of solar power. Given these constraints they did a phenomenonal job. The food, while simple, was always plentiful and tasty. There was a pool for cooling off in the middle of the day. And again we saw TONNES of animals. We only went on a drive through the private concession once, and on that particular drive it was uneventful. The drives through the national park had much more to see.

We could not have been happier with what Bronwyn organized for us. She is such a pleasure to work with and always does her best to try to work within our budget and give us various options. Thank you once again Bronwyn!!!

Our first Safari adventure and it started and ended well through the grace of God, and the people who have helped us through African Budget Safaris. I regard prompt and effective communication as a must, and Bronwyn did great by us. We planned months in advanced, and all the preparations have paid off. Our first Safari was excellent and within our budget. We highly recommend booking it through African Budget Safari! Thank you
