tried to book a b&b for a family member to come and visit. used this service and found one only a mile away with one vacancy left so booked it there and then.
instant confirmation and a follow up email to confirm.
Also opted for the pay later on site which was great as I had to confirm arrangement with our visitor.

I have Agoda VIP Diamond, did reservations for 6 years on that portal and app.

I noticed that Agoda discounts are often 30% more expensive than discounts available for anyone on the internet.

By doing Google Search you will get much better Discounts available to anyone on sites like Booking.com and many others.

Also the customer service of Agoda is not responsive, and all AI automated.

Really good value. Def best offers for hotels. Also used Agoda for 2 trips, both of which worked out great and were the best on price. We did this whilst on holiday. Really happy with using Agoda.

Agoda is my go-to for all my accommodation bookings and has been for the past two years .
The price ,information and confirmation on bookings is straightforward with no hidden agendas !
Also the more you use them ,the better the deals become .
I have booked hotels and accommodation in Taiwan,Singapore and London with no hassle at all .

Good hotel deals. Very easy to book.

The hotel wasn't clean. I found cockroaches and insects in the room and hair in the bed. I stayed for 4 hours and left, even though my booking was for 3 nights. Refused to do refund

Booked activity through Agoda: “Romantic Dinner, Fireworks, Symphony & Kiss of the Sea – Phu Quoc” (Booking ID: 1727154665).

The activity title strongly suggested that admission to the actual Kiss of the Sea show was included. However, after arrival, we discovered that the package only allowed viewing fireworks/show visuals from the restaurant and did not include entry to the show venue itself.

While Agoda later pointed to detailed terms stating “admission ticket not included,” I believe the headline presentation created a misleading overall impression for customers planning their trip.

I appreciate that Agoda reviewed the matter multiple times, but no goodwill compensation or partial refund was offered despite acknowledging that the title “may have created a different expectation.”

I hope Agoda improves the clarity and prominence of exclusions in activity listings to avoid similar misunderstandings for future travelers.

Agoda are nearly always very efficient. Although sometime I wish I could have contact with a human being (of course, that's sadly true with most organisations these days!). The booking process is usually slick. I find maps are useful if it's an area I don't know. Sometimes the pricing is odd, e.g. it can cost the same with or without cancellation.
I'll review the hotel after I've been.

It's a great experience, my first time to do booked an accommodation, most of our holidays my husband did it..so I can say it's easy to book in Agoda less of questions to fill in so quickly finished..

Had a very bad experience with Agoda which will defintely impact on how and if I use them in future.

I booked a property in Hawaii and when I contacted the hotel to confirm that it was a 55m2 studio with an ocean view, they said no a 29m2 without view.

I have chased AGODA up a dozen times now and they have even changed my booking so that it no longer says 55m2 ocean view room.

Bottom line is they were deceptive in what they advertised, made me pay more for nothing and then downgraded me to the lowest possible room in the hotel.

Not sure what they are up to but my trust facto has gone through the floor and if I didn't chase up myself I would have arrived and been given a tiny room without a view, contrary to what I booked and paid for and AGODA are not prepared to rectify their mess up.

Bottom line be wary of any bookings with Agoda and confirm direct with the hotel, not with Agoda, they are useless when it comes to customer service and can't be trusted.

I booked a multi-day hotel stay through Agoda, and it was a total nightmare! A glitch on their website booked the wrong dates, and they absolutely refused to give me a refund. The hotel was very forgiving about the mistake, but Agoda was not and still denied my refund request! If you have any issues at all, Agoda's dispute specialists will not help you—they will look for any excuse to keep your money! I will never use Agoda again and will be escalating this case."

Very disappointing experience with Agoda. During booking, the price was clearly shown as $401 USD, but afterward they suddenly tried to charge me $421 because of a so-called “5% rate adjustment” fee. This feels extremely misleading and dishonest.

To make things worse, Agoda doesn’t provide a proper option to switch the payment currency to IDR to avoid these unnecessary extra charges. I contacted customer support hoping for a solution, but they were completely unhelpful. They refused to change the payment currency and also wouldn’t allow me to change the payment method.

Terrible customer service and hidden extra costs. Be careful when booking with Agoda because the final amount may be very different from the price they originally show.

Agoda weren’t very helpful with a disappointing stay a couple months ago, so it seems their customer support is lacking. However their app is good and hotel availability is strong.
