Both our orders were packaged well and shipped promptly. MY only gripe - we live in Northern Ireland, at present still part of the UK - but you don’t ship there. We were just lucky that family in Eng... See more

Bought a 3 seater bench in 2000 and it is still going strong.
However I bought a 2 seater bench in 2014 and some of the slats have rotted. Instead of being a single piece of wood some of the slats are made up of two pieces of wood and joined at the middle of the bench. As a result water ingress has occurred and the wood has rotted. Will now have to purchase replacement slats.

Brought an oiled mahogany twin seater bench l yr ago..It looks appalling with discolouration looking like white paint has been splattered over it. Alex.Rose state this is natural and if l don’t like it sand it down and apply oil. I explained l was in my late 70’s and a full time carer..and this was a 50th wedding present. A previous bench of there’s lasted 30 yrs and looks better than this. Will never use this company again
Bench arrived exactly as ordered. On time and easy to assemble. Fantastic quality and service.
Bought an Alexander Rose bench cover about 3 years ago. Took the cover off yesterday and the bench was soaking wet . Might as well covered it with a sieve.
This was a waste of money.Surely at the price it ought to keep out some weather after 3 years.
Absolute rubbish!! It took nearly a year to arrive and when it did the furniture was coated in a terrible plastic paint which just rubs off and looks dreadful! When I phoned them to say I wasn’t happy they said it was meant to give the wood a ‘rustic’ look!! I use it as a potting table in my shed!
We have ordered a lot of furniture for our hotel and added to it by ordering a table and chairs costing close to five thousand pounds back in April, expecting it to arrive for the summer. Two chairs turned up in August and the remaining six chairs and table turned up a week ago at the start of October, just in time for winter. To add insult to injury, there are no bolts to fix the table legs to the table and when we have contacted them to get the bolts, they have asked for proof of purchase and a photograph of the table. Maybe they don’t keep records of orders over 6 months ago or maybe they can’t be bothered to look it up on their own system. Trouble is, we had to pay up front before they would confirm their order so can’t even hold any money back to ensure we get the bolts. If we didn’t already have garden furniture to match up with, wouldn’t go near them as they have gone down hill rapidly since the pandemic.
A small bolt sheared on one of our Roble carver chairs. Contacted customer services who were able to send out a replacement quite quickly, at no cost.
Absolute rubbish. Expected years of use from our Alexander rose garden table. Started warping within weeks. Got replacement and same happened and then told it was out of warranty. They said as a gesture they would repair it if I agreed to cost if returning. Which i did but they never collected it. I also bought 4 reclining chairs to match but very reluctant to buy another table to match our chairs.
After researching various companies and products I ordered the Rimini Corner Set on the basis that additional components and chairs from the range could be added. Despite Alexander Rose advertising these items on their websites they are in fact only supplying as part of a set. They also have not bothered to communicate this to their suppliers. I have contacted Alexander Rose several times to try and rectify with no success and they are still advertising the individual items.I am now left with an expensive corner set which I cannot add to and cannot return. Complete misrepresentation of their products. Such a shame as the product is of very good quality.
