In 1959 Alpha Industries was commissioned by the Department of Defense to design and manufacture high performance outerwear for the US military. It all started with a rented factory in the city of Knoxville, Tennessee and just a few staff members. That was the beginning of the nowadays so well-known authentic and legitimate MA-1 Flight Jacket. Over the years the company added several new colors to the original products or customized them with different patches or prints but the jacket itself and especially the capability to withstand every type of weather and outside influences stayed the same at all times. That´s why Alpha Industries quickly became synonymous with developing the iconic MA-1, M-65 and N-3B trusted by soldiers, sailors and aviators to protect them from the direst conditions across land, sea and air.

Very pleased with the M65 jacket
Very pleased with the M65 jacket, the advice to buy a size smaller than normal was very helpful and accurate. The quality of the jacket is excellent and would recommend Alpha products. The delivery service was good and package received without mishap.

Excellent! I purchased my first MA-1 Hooded jacket in a beautiful black olive color with a sheen to it. The black polyester fleece lining the inside of the hood makes this one cozy jacket to zip up all the way. Speaking of zippers, this one is a nice oversized brass-like one that is smooth and easy to manipulate with gloves on. The orange interior is a plus. It does a good job of covering your throat and your ears. The jacket fits my 70KG, 175CM height perfectly in a Medium Regular. It is just the right length sitting just below my beltline.
The workmanship and attention to detail is great, given the affordable price. The jacket is very well made. The hood is a not-too-long/big snorkel: excellent to keep the elements off your face while keeping it warm. Good Job Alpha!
