They use unreliable parcel delivery companies. The agents are nice and try to help but their abilities to sort out delivery problems are limited. Therefore, this puts me off from ordering again.

Quite sad about the delivery method used in France, they cannot leave the package anywhere but they have to deliver it to you personally. Some delivery people are legit but some are a bit more random I feel like. If you work full time it's a pain to receive the package if you are not getting it delivered to your workplace. I had much better experience in different companies with amazon.

I txt to live agent in amazon 2 times about it, i insisted to cancel my order, i have information from colis privee that my package has not beed delivered to me. But what amazon doing? i have been an Amazon custimer for the past 5 years. i have bought over thousands of items especially that we are a professional store. So far was good until the past 2 years. We ordered twice an iphone from Amazon, once a 14 pro and then a 16 pro and twice they got stolen by the driver or depot employee. Every time they see that the package exceeds a certain value, they steel the content and replace it with something ridiculous. like a book or a silicon tube. Be careful....be very careful with them

Le 14 novembre à 23h00, une vérification de validité a été effectuée sur ma carte sans que je l’utilise. Ce n’est pas la première fois qu’une vérification est faite sans mon autorisation, mais comme il n’y avait pas de débit, je l’avais ignorée. Aujourd’hui, vers 6h00, un achat de 5,03 € est apparu sur mon compte sans que j’aie utilisé ma carte.
J’ai immédiatement contacté ma banque, qui a annulé et remboursé l’achat. Ensuite, j’ai contacté Amazon pour expliquer la situation. Leur première réponse affirmait que le débit concernait un achat prétendument effectué le 14 novembre, alors que j’avais déjà précisé dans mon premier message que je n’avais fait aucun achat ce jour-là. Dans une deuxième réponse, ils ont affirmé ne rien avoir trouvé de suspect et ont listé des “possibilités” comme une utilisation partagée de mon compte ou quelqu’un que je connais ayant mes informations. En gros, ils ont essayé de me rendre responsable de quelque chose que je n’ai pas fait !

On November 14th at 11:00 PM, a validity check was performed on my card without me using it. This isn’t the first time a verification has been done without my authorization, but since no charge was made, I ignored it. Today, around 6:00 AM, a charge of €5.03 appeared on my account, even though I didn’t use my card.
I immediately contacted my bank, which canceled and refunded the charge. Then, I reached out to Amazon to explain what happened. Their first response claimed that the charge was for a purchase supposedly made on November 14th, even though I had already stated in my first message that I didn’t make any purchase that day. In a second response, they said they found nothing suspicious and listed possible explanations like a shared account or someone I know having my information. Basically, they tried to blame me for something I didn’t do!
The customer service is terrible.
It’s better to shop on AliExpress, Temu, or Wish.

Amazon sent me two emails stating I had not paid for two deliveries. The goods had arrived several days earlier. I have contacted then several times with no reply. There is an email address to contact them regarding the matter but when I use it I get back a no-reply email saying exactly the same thing again. I have used Amazon for years and typically but 50-80 items and services a year. Now I just want out. Amazon has lost the plot.
Sudden cancellation of orders after 11 days of waiting.
On November 3rd I made two orders (406-6205744-7415524 for 545.8 euros, 406-7853729-7648361 for 272.9 euros, total for 818.7 euros, both seller and delivery person are Amazon itself), when ordering I was informed that I would receive the goods today, 11/14/2024.
I was ready to wait these 11 days, as the price of the goods suited me.
Today is 11/14/2024 and I was expecting to receive the long-awaited goods, but suddenly instead today I received emails that both orders were unilaterally canceled by Amazon today due to the lack of goods.
As a result, I wasted a lot of time, while I could not spend 818.7 euros buying goods elsewhere, as this money was stuck in Amazon.
Big disappointment.
French department is simply broken
We provide transport and logistic services all around EU and worked with pretty much most of the companies around. This branch of Amazon is simply broken. We did get orders from them to transport goods on the span of 3 years and from my statistics only 35% of those orders were correctly deployed and finished.
They have strict rules that don't make sense, which is: If your truck has seal cord running on the side of the rear part of your curtain and not on the rear then they won't load and won't pay you a broken dime.
If driver steps out of vehicle in front of the gate (not inside their territory) without proper clothing they tell him to not come back.
Now they force us to use amazon relay app which doesn't work from time to time. And when it works sometimes they load wares on your van, let you go, confirm it and when you are on you way to unloading they cancell it in the system and make you come back to ask for different goods, which is ok and it happens, but today we lost time and made additional kilometers coming back to loading place just to get information they made a mistake and we shouldn't be coming back. Great, it's like a cathouse on fire, figure out your departments, now it's hell to work with you guys.

I have been a customer since over ten years now and the only couple of issues I'd was with either non-delivered shipments marked delivered - which were refunded - or only twice with third parties. Just saying, the employees not delivering have been finally kicked (and it wasn't even Amazon employees to begin with) as they were stealing shipments and it was finally discovered - it went even into news headlines.
Now, I try to avoid third parties which do not use Amazon delivery if it ain't big known companies - else, I triple check the reviews of said vendor/sender.
Once, I'd to report a third party vendor (chinese) which tried to scam a family member asking for additional private transport fees meanwhile product was listed with no shipment fees.
Amazon is nothing else than a Marketplace which also sells their own products or third party products. Their are lots of different suppliers from around the world. Before you leave a negative review, just check what you are buying and from whom.
The Amazon Support has been so far amazing and has dealt with every situation I'd to deal with.
Refund has been always processed in 5 days after the shipment was returned.
There is basically nothing I don't buy there: shoes, socks, iron, ironing board, keyboard, mouse, phone, books and even masks. And tell me where to buy ginger beer if not on Amazon?
You can't find any useful stuff in local markets anyway as they don't have any stocks anymore and if you do accountancy, you know that most of them buy at least some stuff from Amazon anyway, even if it is your local pharmacy or grocery store.

Very poor and weird customer service. They are not tired not to solve a problem. For the products by third party suppliers, they don't provide support at all.
I contacted their customer service service and the vendor several times, without any solution. They don't care and find a solution.
For the products not sold by Amazon the service quality is definitely lower than the products they sold or send directly. However, there is no indication that there is a difference in service quality and that we can experience problems more frequently than the products Amazon sells on its own. That is deception of the Client.
Also there is always a problem with the products which are ordered from Germany, but always. Either the postal services write the address wrong and they don't deliver the product but pretend so.

Totally hopeless support - I bought a Delonghi Dehumidifier displayed as 11 in stock and 3 days delivery time. When I received the order confirmation it said delivery in 3 months. So I called support and they said it was an error - “you will have it in less that 72 hours” and they wrote an e-mail to confirm this. However the following day the product was still not dispatched so I called again. This time they said a supervisor would call me in less than 2 hours - 4 hours later nobody called I got on the chat and got transferred 15 times without any meaningful support or resolution so I finally cancelled the order. Even though the product is still displaying at Amazon.fr as in stock and 3 days delivery. I have been a pretty good customer at Amazon for many years, but I guess it is time to move on - My worst customer service experience in 2024 - if not ever.
