Julian and Steve turned up at the time they stated , they were very pleasant, worked really well we are very pleased with the work being done, the windows look great

My front doir( still under guarantee, two months old) wouldn’t close. Contacted Amber quite a few times..no reply… had to get a chap in to bend the door as it was dangetous to leave it open! Obviously!! Amber won’t repay me as it happened out of their working hours!!!!
So.. under guarantee, can’t close FRINT door… oh sorry, broke out of working hours!!!.. AVIOD!

From initial contact,Amber surveyor sales man was straight forward with our quote. The order process was quick and installation date was agreed in an equally swift time. The installation team, Malachi and James were hard working, polite and very professional. Really pleased with the quality of the product, whole house installation windows and doors. A really great service that I would recommend to friends and family. Thank you Amber, Brendan and the team.

Julian and Steve came and fitted my new double glazing ,I can’t recommend them enough they did a fantastic job nothing was too much trouble .Im very pleased with the service and would also recommend amber windows .

Had windows replaced at front of bungalow looked good but they did not seat around corners at bottom which let in water and the sealer inside started to peel off. They sealed the outside but left the inside. We then had windows and doors fitted at rear, one window did not fit and another had a chunk missing out of frame. They just want to bog up the non fitting window with expanding foam with I refused so they agreed to replace window. The one with damaged frame they refuse to do anything with saying it will be ok and just covered it with a bit of trim. All looked good when finally done but a bit off putting waiting for remedial work to be done.

Julian and Steve arrived on time and worked hard to fit my new front door. They were extremely efficient and friendly, and didn't leave any mess. I m delighted with my door and would recommend Amber without question!

Julian and Steve - are amazing! They had a right job fixing a right mess from a farmer other half nothing else needs to be said! I would have them again!!

Julian, Steve, Ian arrived on time and carried out work in a timely manner. Work (patio door) was completed with no issues and to a high standard. Work definitely recommend.

Julian and Steve, both lads have been absolutely fantastic from start to finish with the installation of my double glazed windows. Between them they have 50 years, and it shows with the quality of the finish. I’ve been bowled over with the difference the windows have made. Would throughly recommend Amber windows.

Julian, Steve, Mal & James, worked hard to deliver an excellent job. On time and polite, they went about their business with professionalism. Would definitely recommend.

Leaking windows after 1 month

Had new windows and front door fitted in dec 2025. Windows and doors look lovely and the fitters was good and polite. But in January the bedroom windows started to leak. Big puddles on the window sills. Rang them up and they came out and fixed the problem. Said the drainage in the window had not been cut out but should be ok now. A week later the bay windows downstairs did the same thing. Rang them up again only to be told "well we have had a lot of rain" by customer services. I don't expect new windows to leak when we have a lot of rain. I asked if the engineer could check all the windows as this is the 2nd time I've had you out with the same problem. She said I don't think so as it will impact the next customer. (I don't care about the next customer I want my problem fixed) anyway she made a note on the job sheet and agreed that the engineer should check all windows. They are coming on Friday so we will see. Will I recommend this company no. Windows look good but with the problems we have had and the money we paid we could have got cheaper and probably no problems. Who knows as its a lottery choosing a decent company.

they came and checked all windows so all good so far.
but our front door is not square so the door is hard to shut and lock it also lets a draft in. so getting them back out again. honestly I have no words for this company.

I have had the back out around 7 times now for the door and windows. The door has had to be re alined again the handle on the door came loose and the kitchen window would not open. Getting them back out again as when they fixed the kitchen window they have not put it back straight so looks wonky.

Can’t thank Ian enough. He arrived early and got on with the job straight away. Lovely friendly guy and cleaned up so well you wouldn’t have known he had been there. Process from start to finish has been great and would definitely use again. Even had someone come round to check if I was happy with the job which I thought was a nice touch.

As always work exceptional, Julian and Steve were friendly, efficient and worked quickly. Would highly recommend Amber to anyone thinking of having windows and doors updated

Julian and Steve came today to replace my windows. It was a huge job cos the wooden frames were over 100 years old and crumbling. The products were perfect, but what really stood out was the professionalism. I had brand new carpet down and it is still brand new now. They tidied up everything, even outside in the road, vacuumed, left it spotless. In fact outside the house is tidier than when they arrived. 100% perfect job and got through loads of work in a day as well.
