Very rude sales person and MD who I…
Very rude sales person and MD who I believe he was talking to on the phone. I asked 3 times for a written quote so I could shop around and get a like for like quote from another company, he obviously doesn’t know what that means as he stated that I may get an inferior product from some one else. He didn’t want to give me a written quote he then got on the phone with his MD and you could clearly hear what he was saying, he asked him if we were messing him around and the salesperson reply was yes which is very rude to do that in my house in front of me then when he came off the phone and gave me a cheaper price, I still asked for a written quote and he just packed his things and left. Normal people shop around and don’t take the first quote. But this salesperson thought differently, he also tried to offer me finance when I had already told him twice I will pay in full on completion. Very very rude experience would not recommend this company.

Dear Scott, our service is a free home visit to show our products and to measure and design windows to FENSA requirements. We give you a verbal quotation that is recorded our end should you wish to place an order. We are legally obliged to disclose our finance facilities so that all customers are fully aware of the services we offer and everyone is treated fairly. We do not do written quotations due to further costs in materials and peoples time, this is quite standard in the industry where a free service has been given. Should you have decided to place an order all of the details would have been confirmed in writing prior to signing any contracts. The salesman would also not have spoken to the MD during your visit as it would be outside of his remit.
Avoid Amber Windows
Had new windows and doors installed around 3 years ago.
After 12 months, the front door bowed.
Amber widows have been out several times to look at it.
They took measurements and photos of the warped gap.
The fitters that came out agreed that it needed replacing but Amber Widows state that the supplier will not change it, even though the contract is wit Amber Windows and not the supplier.
So the guarantee is not worth the paper it is written on.
This is a typical and dodgy window company.
Would highly recommend that you go elsewhere and not waste your time and money with this company if you want decent customer service.

From the very beginning of ooking at getting new windows to the installation everyone has been really friendly, helpful and professional. Adrian was very friendly got everything installed quickly and it all looks great.

I never actually went with them in the end, my review relates to their hard/pressure selling technique, they visited and gave me a quote of 6k, wowing me with special offers and discounts, i told them i would get back to them after a week, next day they called and said they had a cancelled booking and if willing to pay 4k i can get it done in a couple of weeks, i still didn't rush in, got another quote from a local company for a no nonsense 3k, went with them and i am very happy with their job
