The salesman at the shop explained everything clearly, arranged the purchase and the process is very smooth. swift delivery and the staff is very friendly. online payment system is also very convenient. good service and good communication.
Very dissatisfied with the service and the quality of the bicycles. We bought 2 bicycles (Amslod Dalton and Amslod Wellington) for us and picked them up in the shop in Almere. Both bicycles had technical issues from the start: loose bolts, the front sticker with a logo did not stick on one of the bicycles, and a more serious problem with the battery on a Dalton model. During cycling the battery tends to go loose and disconnect from the frame. Moreover, you can easily take the battery out even without a key. I cycled on this bicycle two times and had to stop and connect the battery a couple of times. And note, this did not happen on the bumpy road, just a normal cycling lane. It looks like this is a huge design defect on the Amslod battery connection. I went immediately to the shop, but their service was as good as nothing. The personnel is rude and lacks basic qualifications. On a close inspection of the bicycle construction, you can notice how fragile and sloppy all the wiring and accessories are. I feel nothing more than regret that I believed all the nice reviews here. I tried to contact their head office and return their products. Given how bad they are, you should not be surprised - there is no return! These bicycles are not worth the money.

Bad quality and bad service ! The bike stand come off by itself twice I got repair at home twice. Then I had charging problem and Amslod thinks it is my fault while service engineer mentioned it might be production issue. Anyway I paid 540 Euros for the battery and repair. After that they delivered new battery to my house while the bike is in Amslod. No rental bike provided and I don't know when my bike will be repaired.
Updated on 1st Feb 2024 - I picked up the bike yesterday. And my daughter just called the bike has problem so she is calling road assistance help. What a beautiful ride. Yesterday I ordered another e-bike from reliable brand.

I have received extremely knowledgeable answers to all my questions at the store which had no marketing or sales motive. They exchange their technical experiences to allow me to make the best choice for my application. I had shopped in more than 5 other major shops and at the end came back for to this store as they gave me enough confidence and trust in the product. Of course the entire purchase phase all the way to the final delivery everything happened as exactly how it was committed. It is evident that customer satisfaction is the mindset at Amslod!
Very happy with the full experience - the service in the shop was really good with the dedicated time and explanations I needed, the bike arrived quickly after and no any complains from the bike functionality.
One point to be improved - the video sent to prepare you for the bike receiving is showing test of it which creates expectations but the bike arrived with no battery filled, so no any test was possible.
I have a positive experience with Amslod. It is a nice bicycle and the customer service is good.

I wanted to buy a bike at amslod dealership. I asked seller , can we speak English? because my Dutch is not so good. Seller said, you are in Netherland and you have to speak Dutch!!!
I will not buy anything from this bike dealer.

Excellent and professional service from the Hasselt Amslod store. Friendly and knowledgeable staff from sales to delivery.
The e-bike itself is a pleasure to cycle and built quality seems very good.
We bought accessories online and pricing was among the best we could find.
Just under a year ago, we bought an Amslod e-bike and where happy with delivery, performance and the quality - other than that the standard fell off after a few months and that this keeps on happening.
Recently, we experienced an error8 malfunction and the motor stopt working. Amslod was unable to perform a repair in less than 2 weeks because of a lack of service staff in Zeeland. Just now, we heard this being pushed to over a month due to the lack of spare parts. Their bike is an essential part of the transport plan and the time to repair is unacceptable.
After the above review, Amslod reacted swiftly and re-instated the original repair date. Repairs were performed swiftly including spare parts.... . I only wished that such service would had been provided immediately and they would have gained a 4-5 star performance.

Good advice given at the local Amslod center about front wheel or center motor e-bikes. After 3 test rides of various e-bikes we purchased 2 York e-bikes (center motor). Purchase and delivery was very efficient and quick (1 week). Insurance took a little longer but worked out fine.
After the first 100km we had just 2 small issues: 1. a broken bell strap on delivery and 2. a strange wearing sound on one of the e-bikes as one pedals faster. Both were reported to Amslod and again very efficiently dealt with, with a service visit and new bell by Post NL. I am very pleased we chose Amslod the e-bikes are a joy to ride.

I arranged via their customer service also the insurance and periodic check up of the bicycle.
The delivery was excellent. They unwrapped it, set it up and tested for me at delivery.
Unfortunately I did not have time for the short introduction on how to use it, but they do offer this free of charge at delivery.
So far I am very happy with my new bicycle!
