I had trouble getting my account approved because I haven't used it in a long time. Support was very helpful in helping get my account approve again.

I don't use my Anchor app as much as I should so I've locked out a few times. The support as always been very helpful in getting everything back on track and working properly. The only thing I'd like to see is a small reminder say ever 4 to 6 months of no activity to say "Hey have you checked your account lately"? I think that would be helpful to people like me when life gets in the way and things go out the window.

False Advertising Lures Customers

Anchor uses false advertising and description of their service / features to drive customer signups and acquisition of your data.

For example, the App Store listing for Anchor describes a feature to add funds instantly to your Anchor account using a linked debit card. A screenshot of the feature is also shown and advertised.

Guess what? This screenshot is fabricated and Anchor does not have this feature. This is just one of many features that Anchor advertises, but in reality, does not exist.

Stay away from this scummy organization that is trying to lure you in with fake features.

Pleasantly Surprised

Anchor’s customer service team replied to my email much quicker than I expected. There was a text verification issue that they informed me they were working on it. I was able to log in with no issues the next day and a few days later they reached back out to make sure I was able to log in to my account. I definitely didn’t expect a follow up but was pleased to see that they prioritize taking care of their customers.

Contact Your State Department of Banking Investigation

We've been trying to withdraw our funds for 8 months. Every time they ask for additional photos of us with our ID's to prove it's our account. They also ask for a notorized letter allowing ourselves to withdraw our funds, but I reply saying that I need an address and an addressee for the letter. Since this company refuses to give me a contact name or address, I assume this company is a total scam. My state's attorney's office referred me to the state dept of banking to begin their invesigation.

Hi Cynthia. We do apologize that it's been taking so long to get your accounts straightened out. Due to strict industry regulations, we're unfortunately unable able to provide support for shared accounts. The fastest and most reliable way to withdraw your funds would be via blockchain transfer, which you can learn how to do here: https://support.tryanchor.com/hc/en-us/articles/4679333111323-How-can-I-withdraw-my-crypto.

The fact is we are not able to send funds to a bank account unless it matches the name on the Anchor account. We understand this may be frustrating, and we truly appreciate your understanding.

Big shoutout to Anchor’s customer…

Big shoutout to Anchor’s customer service team for turning a frustrating situation into a good experience! I had some trouble resetting my password. I started the process on the app, got the email with the reset link, clicked it, and… somehow ended up on a page asking me to register like I was a brand-new customer. Super confusing!

I reached out to customer service and within minutes, I was connected with a real human being (not a bot or AI, thankfully!). They actually admitted there was an issue on their end and were honest about it, which was so refreshing. It made me feel like they cared about fixing the problem instead of just brushing me off.

What I really appreciated was that they said they were working on a fix and would use my experience to improve things for the next person. That made me feel like I was part of something bigger—like my feedback actually mattered. It’s nice to know that companies like Anchor care about learning from their mistakes and getting better.

Bottom line: everyone makes mistakes, but owning up to them and making things right builds trust. Thanks for making this frustrating moment feel more human and letting me help improve the process for the next customer. You’ve earned my trust!
