Monitor broke after 7months after…

Monitor broke after 7months after purchase, called AOC and they told me that from the picture I had sent them they had confirmed it was caused by physical damage! How can you tell that from a photograph?!?!?
Customer service didn’t have any information about a head office email or a complaints department. Clearly a shoddy company that can’t train their staff and take your money and blame you when the appliance breaks!!
Stay away

My monitor stopped working in end of…

My monitor stopped working in the end of the july.I complaint and requested for replacement cause it was still under warranty but they rarely picked up my calls and after 1week of complaining they told me it will take 15 days to process the issue but then they took more than 15 days and when I called them they told me that I have to pick up the order from the shop even though they didn't even told me before that I will not get a home service but at first I was little bit un ok with their service but I couldn't wait more cause they already took more than 20 days but when I bought home the replaced monitor I saw that it was faulty..The cable slot of the monitor was loose and none of the cables were fitting properly and then the most worst thing happen,The monitor wasn't showing any display and I also tried with different cable but none of them worked.....Well I made a mistake by buying this moron AOC monitor.. Tomorrow I am going to file a case in consumer court.
Edited-They still haven't fixed the replaced monitor..I have bought a new DELL monitor....Now I am about to throw away that AOC monitor... totally wasted my 1month... WORST COMPANY

Monitor broke, Customer Service incompetent

I was happy with the monitor until it broke at six months old. Called 'Customer Service' and they told me the monitor would be swapped in 2 days. It is now three weeks and they have no idea of the status of the case that was raised. They have no process to escalate a call and no complaints procedure. Is this how an International company treats its customers?

Worst monitor brand ever!! buy another brand!

Since day 1 I had issues with this monitor
(bleeding effect) butI tried to go on with this issue

About 7 months after the purchase I had this flickering flashing issue with the monitor while gaming (video)
about 8 months after purchase I noticed a withe square line light all over the 4 corners of the monitor (about half inch thick)

Before one year of purchase I sent it to AOC to get a replacement/repair but this AOC support guys are not qualify at all to make a decision or even give some information about my return case, they just keep telling me that I need to wait for the manager response, it has been 2 weeks since they received the faulty unit and they have not even send me an email about my case not even a single answer about it.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS MONITOR BRAND MAKE YOURSELF A FAVOR AND TAKE A LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE.
I WILL NEVER BUY AOC AGAIN. NEVER!!

43" monitor broke in 2 weeks due to the…

43" monitor broke in 2 weeks due to the electric cable from a monitor overhead. This 30gram cable falling down from 15" above was enough to crack the panel which is very flexy. Even when I got it I was very cautious when I tried to wipe it and it started to flex inward quite a bit. Unacceptable.I own 5 monitors and none do that. Of course they denied the warranty saying it's my fault! Quality is absolutely horrible. After this I had nothing to lose so I tried various things and all of them kept damaging the panel.
threw a small marker's cap(yes, cap) from ~15" = 5" crack. Then threw a penny at it from about 1' - 2" crack. Then VERY light finger blips from 1" away = 2"+ damage on every blip.
This monitor is absolute horribly made or was defective - I don't know, but my experience is not normal. As I said, I was worried even when I tried to wipe it. If you read reviews, you will see how their monitors start to crack and deform after 6months-1year. I had no experience in that but again proves they are a cheap Chinese brand with 0 quality control. They LIED how their panels are 125% srgb, but my panel came in with 98-99% sRGB across the screen. Same with 2 other users I talked to who got as little as 96-98%. They LIE how they are all of their monitors are 110-125%.
Anyhow, monitor is now garbage, $700+ down the drain. Considering the covid and me working part time all this time, it was a massive family budget blow, which makes the whole thing even more painful. $700 for 2 weeks of use... And yah, you can defend them by saying it was my fault as it was my cable, but a light cable should not damage a monitor!! I have 5( 2 I don't use) and none of them flex this way nor when I tried doing the finter blips were showing any damage( tried on my older 24"). I am out of money due to their poor quality control. Period.
Absolutely do not recommend.

AOC support is terrible

AOC monitors are not bad quality, they are "all right" budget monitors but the problem lies in their customer support which is non-existent.
You don't have option to create AOC account, no option to check the answer on your case opened through their support form on the web site, monitor drivers don't work, and have a weird format.
The last, and absolutely horrible is when you call the number in your country that is listed as support on AOC official page, people on the other side are just hired service shop that does repairs for 20 other low-cost companies from Asia and have absolutely no social skills or manners. They pretty much tell you to f... off and not even trying to be polite.
In best scenario, they will tell you on the phone (as in my case) that AOC doesn't have the support and that you send them your problem in email as they don't see any opened cases on AOC end.
They never reply to your email after. Will never buy AOC again for that reason.

Great experience overall!

Filled out a customer service form for a dead pixel I found on my monitor that I had for a month or so. I got a response the week after, and I provided all the details that they needed and they gave me a shipping label shortly after. I shipped my defective monitor on the 18th and just received my new monitor today (26th). Considering there is a global pandemic going on, the customer service I received was amazing. I've heard RMA nightmare stories but am very grateful to have shipped and then received a brand new monitor in less than 2 weeks.

Better than the retailer!

I purchased a monitor from a retailer here in the UK.

It arrived missing a screw in the stand causing it to lean to the right. When i tried to swap a screw to this hole it would not hold meaning the thread within was damaged.

I contacted AOC and spoke with Carmen. With a few phone calls and bit of back and forth via email I received whole new stand for the screen within just a couple weeks of first reporting it.

Very happy with my screen now and Carmen was nothing but helpful throughout. Impressed with the level of friendless and overall resolution of my issue.

There seem to be alot of fake review in here.
I bought a screen 2 years ago, but it got broken.

I have a 3 years warranty for a 35 inch screen that i bought for about 550$cad.

Just that is really good.
So i contacted them, send over the screen and now im getting a replacement.

With times of covid, all company are slowed.

Under 3 weeks i got my screen remplaced with a new one.

Price are good, quality is good, consumer service is like all other decent company.

So many fakes review in here, i enjoy Aoc. They are a great company with good products.

Get yourself a Dell monitor

Get yourself a Dell monitor
You’ll save your time by not interacting with AOC customer support, which is horrible. The lady calls me from during the breakfast (and we’re in the same time zone, she could’ve realized it’s 9AM) and starts troubleshooting without introducing herself. I hear the word monitor and then I manage to swallow my bite of sandwich. Doesn’t even ask whether that’s a suitable time for a chat.
I was waiting for an email reply for 10 days. She suggests some steps I’ve already mentioned doing...
Save yourself TIME and MONEY, avoid at any cost!!!

Avoid AOC like the plague - or Corvid-19

My AOC monitor went completely wrong at 7 months old. I contacted the supplier, who promptly threw the ball over the hedge at AOC. They keep sending emails asking for the same information - proof of purchase and evidence of the monitor going wrong. So far I have submitted the information three times. Reading the reviews here, I'm not optimistic. So far, customer service is hideously bad. I shall persevere because it was a seriously expensive monitor. But I have a bad feeling, and I'm already brushing up the procedures for a County Court action against the supplier. It's not their fault, but that's the route to solution.

Terrible Warranty Service

I submitted a warranty claim eight days ago, and they said they'd get back to me within two days. I called (for the third time) this morning, and they said that once they actually do get back to me, it'll take at least two weeks to process the replacement.

If that timeline proceeds in the same way just confirming the warranty does, it could be months. I asked them about this and they said I had no other options. A warranty is worthless if it doesn't actually replace business-essential equipment in a timely fashion. This is the last time I'll buy from this company.

Terrible Warranty experience

Loved the product itself while it had no issues. Unfortunately 2 years into ownership of a AG271QG it developed an issue where the image would persist on the screen for minutes after being displayed. This would be very obvious if you were browsing the internet for anything over say 20 mins and then viewed a solid colour background.

No worries I thought, this thing has a 3 year warranty, wrong. After 5 weeks of emailing and sending images to AOC (or whoever deals with their repairs as I received an email with Phillips in the signature on one occasion) they finally came to the conclusion that this was burn-in due to a static image being left on the screen for extended periods (despite zero knowledge of my monitor usage) and wouldn't be covered as per their warranty guidelines. I had already scoured both their Warranty and Manual several times by this point and knew for a fact that there was no mention of usage for avoiding this or any exclusions if this does become an isssue.

I pointed this out and they said it would be passed on for review by another department. It seems like others have had similar experiences and got replacements when the same issue happened (it seems to be much more common than I thought), but they have also had to push for this which begs the question, why don't AOC just admit to the issue in the first place and avoid tainting their reputation and ruining the customer experience. Seems very very shortsighted!

I was about to spend double the original spend on a new monitor anyway but I can't see for the life of me now how I could feel good about putting that money into another AOC product. Such a shame as the monitor itself had been great up unitl that point. If anything changes or improves during the rest of the warranty process then I shall update this review accordingly.

Model G2590FX backlight fault

My AOC monitor developed a back light fault after 6 MONTHS so unhelpfully Ebuyer told me to contact AOC direct for repairs/replacement.
I last heard from them on 6 th April and are still waiting to hear how my monitor is to fixed ; The 3 year warranty is not worth the paper it is written on!
I have never felt so let down by a Company that doesn`t reply to emails and i am now investigating any legal avenues open to me.
Pity as i like the monitor but will not buy from AOC again.

Just got this monitor as part of a new pc but it is cheap and looks it. The stand is awful and cannot be adjusted. I would not choose this monitor if it had been up to me. If you are buying on price then I guess you have to expect what you pay for. Pay a bit more and get a monitor you can live with.......... and adjust.

Bought an Agon gaming monitor on March…

Bought an Agon gaming monitor on March 2018. 10 dead pixels starting showing up as of late 2019. AOC states that their warranty covers up to 3 years. I call support and now they state that the monitor I had purchased only covers 1 year. Not 3 years like they had previously stated. That means I am left with this monitor and there is nothing I could do about it. This company thinks it can lie and create loop holes to get their sneaky practices unheard. I advice others not to purchase anything from this company.

Worst customer experience in my lifetime

Purchased the AOC E1659FWU at Best Buy. Was pretty happy the first few months I had it.Truth be told I lost the USB cable that came with the monitor and went to Best Buy to see if I could get a replacement. Tried a USB 3.0 to USB 3.0 and it did not work. Best buy recommended I contact AOC directly. Began calling AOC customer service on 11/21/19 and have called 11 times total since then. At first they said it was out of stock (nasty customer service person) until after Thanksgiving. Waited the week and started calling on the 28th. Was told it was in stock but due to some terminal being down they could not process any order. Called everyday last week and got the same answer every day. This week I was told that IT has not responded to the request of customer care as someone changed the password and it still has not been resolved. During all this time I have tried to find an alternative but nothing works. So, I'm stuck with this monitor that doesn't work even though I'm happy to pay for a replacement cable but due to the lack of coordination or effort of the AOC staff, I'm unable to use the product that I paid for. Again I cannot believe that this is the way AOC does business because if it is, Its amazing they are still in business.
