AON IS A PREDATORY, UNETHICAL COMPANY THAT SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED FOR FINANCIAL MISCONDUCT

If you are considering trusting AON with your pension, think again. This company is a disgrace—a pack of liars, cheaters, and crooks who prey on the most vulnerable, robbing retirees of their hard-earned money through deceitful tactics. Their behaviour is worse than criminals, as they operate under the guise of “professionalism” while using every dirty trick in the book to delay, deny, and underpay pensioners.
I have been battling AON’s corrupt practices since June 2024, when I requested to withdraw my tax-free lump sum pension from the Procter & Gamble Pension Fund. AON deliberately delayed my request for months, forcing me to chase them repeatedly while they ignored their own stated timelines.
When they finally provided my pension quote, I signed and returned the forms immediately. Then, without informing me, they secretly lowered my pension payout, reducing both my lump sum and my monthly pension payments—a blatant act of fraud and deception.
Even more disgusting is the fact that AON knew I urgently needed this money for medical treatment. After I disclosed this in October 2024, they played another dirty trick—instead of honouring the agreed amounts, they slashed my pension payout, betting on my desperation to make me accept their fraudulent recalculation. Let’s be clear: this is not just incompetence—it is calculated exploitation. They know pensioners lack time and resources to fight back, so they wear you down with lies and delays, hoping you’ll give up.
Their customer service is a joke—they either ignore you or talk over you with blatant disrespect. My formal complaint, filed in December 2024, was ignored for nearly three months, in clear violation of their own policies. Their representatives treat you with disdain and bigotry, making it clear they don’t care whether you live or die as long as they get away with keeping your money.
AON’s Trustpilot score of 1.2/5 speaks for itself —hundreds of other victims tell the same story. Their Better Business Bureau (BBB) rating is D-, proving they have a long history of ripping off pensioners.

Terrible company who rip you off .
For some reason Babcock have switched all of their employees over to this mediocre company and it’s nose dived massively within 6 months .
Do not do business with Aon as they are terrible.

I had a terrible experience with Aon…

I had a terrible experience with Aon regarding my insurance plan. I was unknowingly billed weekly for the last two months, even though I never signed up for such frequent charges. When I realized the issue, I had to call four times just to cancel my plan—each time being assured that it would be taken care of, yet the charges kept coming.

Customer service was frustratingly slow and unhelpful, making it feel like they were deliberately dragging out the process. It shouldn’t take multiple calls and unnecessary stress just to stop an unwanted subscription. Be very cautious when signing up with Aon, and double-check your billing statements! I wouldn't recommend them based on this experience.

The military defence company used Aon system as benchmark to evaluate the candidate. Awful system for recruitment. 90 procent of the test result were opposite of my actual artibutes and I had to defend these claim on almost every single case during the interview and didnt go well, they werent fond of my feedback that way of recruitment arent legitimate .

If I could give 0 I would

If I could give 0 I would. I am trying to move my pension to another pension provider so I can consolidate old plans. They have dragged the process out for MONTHS and keep giving me more work to do. First it was a questionnaire, then it was 3 months payslips, 3 months bank statements, 3 months pension contributions and a letter from my work and now they send me an email saying I need to print a letter out, sign it with a witness and post it back. Do they tell me where to post it to? Ofcourse they don’t.
Hopefully I never have to deal with this shower of idiots ever again.

On another note I also had a pension with Aviva, was easy to move it.

This must be the worst company ever

This must be the worst company ever. They have you purchase travel protection and then don't honor the contract. I purchased this insurance for myself, my daughter, and my grandson. When I tell you it has been a roller coaster trying to get my money back from this company, I mean it. I paid $2,575.00 for the trip. I work for the federal government and because of the disaster in Tampa, we are being deployed. I provided them with the travel documents, the emails, along with the date, time, and location. The representative advised me that they only deal with military disasters when this was mandated by the military. They have not yet allowed me to speak with someone in the corporate office, and AON sent an email saying military travel is the only way they would pay. I really need some assistance with this matter. When I initially signed up, they never told me this. I keep reaching out to AON. It clearly states on your website that work-related travel is included.

Utterly vile company

Utterly vile company
Took them 4 months to transfer a small pension compared to other similar organisations who took two weeks.
Did not respond to email requests for updates and eventually after getting through to the by phone they rudely tried to blame everyone else including myself and the receiving organisation
Office staff were rude and incompetent and their complaints procedure was a complete waste of time and effort
Thank heavens I will never have the misfortune of having to deal with them again

I've been a customer of HPSO for years

I've been a customer of HPSO for years, but ever since Aon took over, the service has gone downhill. Your business pays for a full year, but when you need your Certificate of Insurance (COI) sent to you, it's either sent with errors or not at all. Trying to get it corrected is a nightmare—you can't reach anyone for help. This incompetence is jeopardizing a six-figure contract because they can't send a COI with the correct address. Absolutely unacceptable and disappointing.
I wish they would function more like next which has an easy online automated portal. I can't imagine they're making good use of their profits with this inefficiency. Unless their plan is to take advantage of business owners.

Totally disrespected and without assistance after 2 surgeries

I’ve been dealing with 2 major surgeries and I have sent doctors documentation and proof of my medical records and need to cancel my trip.
More than one month has passed and I had to be intermediating communications between AON and ROYAL CARIBBEAN. Also I have not received any response until now and my trip is about to happen.
When I called an attend said it was reviewed and it was denied!!!
Does not make any sense it’s denied under the circumstances I’m facing. When I purchased the travel insurance it was very simple, easy and everything I asked was easily contemplated! Now that need to cancel due to health issues I am very stressed with no explanation, clear response and no refund! It’s due to me USD 2946,64.

Any one can help with this issue, please!?!
My claim number is: 900566022

An absolute nightmare from start to…

An absolute nightmare from start to end, It took months to access my money and even then dates kept changing. Eventually when I have been paid, they stated that HMRC have said I pay high tax rate (HMRC have not given them this information) and AON have taken nearly half my money in tax. They have then reported to HMRC that I was paid nothing and have paid no tax, so I cannot even begin to claim this overpayment. I cannot believe how poorly this process has been managed. I will be making a complain

Aon Pensions - Completely useless organisation

AON pensions (UK)
What a completely useless organisation.
Default response time to anything is 4 working weeks - even just checking if they received a form I posted to them.
Customer service agents provided information completely at odds with info provided in Aon paperwork.
Sending Aon an email or a question via their website is a complete waste of time, they won't respond (do they even read such messages?).
It's sad that Aon don't even try to respond to all these negative reviews in Trustpilot - I guess they believe they are so big and important that us little folk (aka "customers") don't deserve feedback.
Based on Trustpilot reviews there are plenty
of us suffering from AON's poor service quality.

Another poor company used by Goodyear tyres.

I’m unfortunate enough to have to deal with this company as Goodyear tyres thought it was a great idea to use Aon as their pension administrator , one of a long & endless line of poor decisions by Goodyear !
Poorly trained staff.
Staff that don’t listen.
Out of date procedures.
Nowhere to view pension value online or app.
Deliberately obstructive.
Not interested in clients.
