Have used lactofree milk since it came…

Have used lactofree milk since it came out but just opened three new cartons from reputable supermarkets, weeks within use by date and stored properly in fridge as have always done- all like watery cream cheese?!

We have had off stomachs for a couple of weeks wondering if this is why. Wish I knew why this is suddenly happening. It’s not cheap and that to us is a lot of money to waste!

Black tea from now on I guess.

How to make a curd with Cravendale

Opened 1 litre of semi skimmed Cravendale well within use by date & kept in fridge. When I tried to boil it in saucepan and could see it separating into a curd. The next bottle was ok.
Looks like the in-law ( A very senior milk marketing board member) was right to call be "a bloody idiot" for buying Cravendale, since all milk should keep in a fridge for 7 days!!! Lesson learned.

Cruel disgusting company

Cruel disgusting company.
The latest advert for dairy using the song everyone’s free.
Who’s free? Because it’s not the cows?
Lies, hypocrisy to try and cover up the big dark disturbing fairy tales that are fully exposed.

Always loved Cravendale milk for its taste and long life.
I didn't mind even paying that little bit extra for it but lately it is well over priced for what it is, £2.80 in Co Op so I will not be paying this much for milk that's not milk

Tre Stelle Traditional Ricotta lack quality control

This is the third time in the past few months that I find containers partially filled with watery ricotta that has in addition a sour taste despite a month left on expiry date. Given the high price for their product, it's a ripoff.

New seals nearly impossible to remove!

I can echo the frustrations of all those that have already written in their reviews about the non-removable seal! We are a family of 5 adults and are going to have to change to another brand because, trying to remove the seal is a 5-minute and very messy affair which, even after the struggle, still leaves little bits round the lip which are impossible to remove but means the cap will no longer seal properly and hence the bottle cannot be laid down in the fridge otherwise it will leak. ARLA - PLEASE LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT BEFORE YOU LOSE THEM ALL!

Love the milk, hate the seal

I wish ARLA would explain how we are supposed to remove the metal seal from the top of the Cravendale 2L milk containers.

I have arthritis in both thumbs. and I am finding it impossible to remove the seal.

If there was a metal tab on side of the seal, then it will be easier to grip to remove the seal.

The only way I can find to remove the seal now is to stick a very sharp knife in the seal, and cut or twist it off.

Last time I did this I had a very bad cut to my left thumb, which I wasn't very happy about.

I appreciate the need to protect the environment, but I think that companies should, consider the implications before introducing new methods.

I feel very strongly about this matter and whatever a bright spark at ARLA that came up with the idea, needs locking up in the Tower of London

Fort Knox foil

I'm afraid that I have now given up on Cravendale milk. The last straw was having to use a pair of pliers to attempt to remove the seal and even that did not work, I had to cut round the seal with a knife. Worse than opening a tin of beans.

Cravendale milk off before best before date.

Been buying Cravendale semi-skimmed for a number of years but recently having a problem with taste changing before the date showing on the packaging. Today the 4th of June opened a bottle dated best before 7th June. We had been away and this was bought before we went and kept in a fridge, upright at correct temperature for our return. Chemical/watery taste to milk so thrown a full 2Litre container away. Taste horrible. Opened another newly bought dated 22nd June, this is fine. This has happened before. Not happy throwing away a full 2Litre container when the date is "good"

Has cause to complain to Arla…

Has cause to complain to Arla concerning a hair found in a pot of their yogurt on 9th April. Sent an email with photograph showing (it was long and dark, I have light short hair) it was a new pot newly opened I was the only person to handle it. I received an automated response with reference number. Having heard nothing I rang customer services on 19th April who said they had not received the email! They took some details from the pot. Rang again on 28th April to be told a letter had been sent. I resent the photos which were duly acknowledged. On 3rd May I received a letter implying that there was no way a hair could have got into the pot and they were sorry I was disappointed with their product they enclosed some coupons. I feel my complaint was not handled at all well and they were totally dismissive, making me feel that I was not telling the truth.
