Dear gentleman, I booked a car in Calgary, Canada by Atlaschoice, I paid 342USD and received a vaucher aug 8. 2016. Till this point 5 stars.
Than I landed in Calgary. And: there is no office of canadian partner Routes Car Calgary.(one star minus) I called the phone number mentioned in vaucher and rude man voice said : we are not Routes Car Calgary. More then one hour we waited and asked every spopped van or bus and no one was the right one. Finely one driver had the phone number and arranged our massage to Routes Car Calgary office. After some 45 mins came the van and without any word of appologise took us at the opposite part of the Calgary City where is the office of Routes Car Calgary. We´ve picked up the car without the problem.
Than at the end of the rental we wanted to drop off the car at the airport, as stated in the vaucher. By the e mail mr. Binipal from Routes Car Calgary refused. As we had a flight at 9,55 we did not want to risk we miss the flight and therefore we droped off the car one day earlier and had to take the night in the hotel near the airport with the transport to the airport.
By dropping off the car I asked and received confirmation of no damage and no balance payment. And now, 30, nov, by Routes Car Calgary my credit card was charged near 600 CAD. The card was used by Routes Car Calgary for the deposit blocking.
I have a document evidence of every opperation I mentioned.
I ask you strongly to put this affair in order and therefore disscontinue your cooperatin with this partner.

obviously going bust, took money and confirmed booking with voucher, money never transferred to car hire firm, are not offering refunds, I booked 5 months ago and the money was not transferred to the car hire company, disgraceful.

We paid Atlas choice in July 2016 £242.93, A further payment was made in full by same credit card in Sep 2016 for the actual car + excess waivers & fuel in Malta with Aquarius Scam a Car. £188.38Euro.

Both companies have my stored credit card no.

Now Aquarius on 26/12/16 (Dec 2016) have decided to charge my Credit Card another 288 euro just because Atlas Choice have 'informed them to do so' because they are now in financial difficulties with current bookings. 1 Star is too much why is there not a ZERO

Within days of needing to redeem my car hire voucher, Atlas Choice emailed to say that due to exceptional circumstances (no further explanation was provided) my voucher would not be honoured.

They then went on to say that they would not be processing any refunds and that I would need to contact my credit card provider to seek a "charge back claim" for the total cost of my original booking including prepaid extras.

I attempted to call their UK customer service line regarding the above however the number Atlas Choice provided either dropped my call immediately, or rang once and then dropped the line. I tried to call around 20 times, at various differing times during the day.

I also attempted to contact them twice by email and received no response.

I would strongly recommend against using Atlas Choice. I will also be contacting Skyscanner to recommend they no longer include them in their search results.

Update Fri 6 Jan 2017 - was able to successfully call the customer service phone line from the US (previous calls were made from Canada). However I stayed on the line for around 10 minutes on each line and simply heard a simple looped message repeating "I'm afraid all the operators are busy at the moment, but please hold and you will be transferred when somebody becomes available". I suspect their call centre is closed and they simply have this recording on loop. Still nothing back from my emails and my contact form.

I booked a rental car through Atlas choice in November and have received an email which states the voucher they issued will not be honoured; the company that collects payment on their behalf (world pay) will not be issuing refunds and they basically say do not contact them (Atlas choice)! This beggars belief

I booked my Car hire in New York through Atlaschoice.com and got a free upgrade that included Collision Damage Weaver, and relevant extras. 2 days prior to my holiday I received an email from them suggesting vehicle rental will not be honoured and that I should contact the vendor directly and pay for it. However, suggested to contact my credit card company to request the Chargeback as Atlaschoice is now unable to refund. I contacted Budget cars in New York directly before departing who confirmed that they have a booking for me.
Upon arrival at JFK through, Budget could not process the request against the booking reference number as Atlaschoice have closed there account with Budget. As a result Budget could not honour the rates that I booked or and asked me to pay for $688.00 (which did not include any insurances). After spending 2.5 hours at JFK Budget with young family at around 11:15pm I decided to pay for the amount and get the car.
Atlaschoice is disgrace and shame on you for this in-human behaviour and malpractices.
I have now contacted my Bank to request for the charge back, but unfortunately no one can compensate me for the additional charge and inconvenience caused.
Please be warned as this company was still operating as normal even after sending me the email on 20th December. Please be aware and do not book through Atlaschoice.
According to companies house website the company is Active!!!!

Booked a car November 2016 due to depart in a week (January 2017) had an email today saying the voucher isn't valid will not be honoured and I need to make alternative arrangements and try and get a refund. Really vague and unhelpful email making me think total scam and wish I had read these reviews before booking! Better to pay more and get what you pay for.

Paid in uk nearly 500 pounds and was asked to pay another 470 deposit in dubai which was meant to be refunded never got a refund they charged me double

Sub-human scum. Avoid.

They provide a voucher that is not accepted by the rental company.
After I ask for cancellation they confirm that the booking is cancelled and that there will be no fee for that One month later, I still have no refund and after reaching them they confrim that the money won't be given back. They ask you to contact your bank instead and ask for money back??

I got the car in Riga Airport from Greenmotion after 3 weeks droped the car back at home they charged me 670 EUR for "scratch" which are very difficult to identify. The best is, the Staff of Greenmotion at Riga Airport just used my credit card number with their machine and signed the creditcard bill by themself! Absolutely scamer all of them!

bad bad bad experience .we paid for car hire. 3 months later we were charged again.25 pounds for then the first time .the company diamond lease says call atlashoice. atlashoice says contact ur bank for a refund .and we lost our money they r scammers and should be closed down

This company is cowboys.they charge u then they don't pay the car hire company .the company them charge u again
And they ask u to go to ur bank.we were charged again 3 months later

I've used Atlas Choice on numerous occasions and their service is always first class. I will continue to make them my preferred car hire company.

Scammed - Avoid

Now on collecting the hire car you sign a contract directly with the hire company making you fully responsible for all payments.

More then 6 months after returning from my holiday I find that Atlas Choice have not paid for the hire car and under the direct agreement - you get charged again. Now as the original payment is over 120 days old your Credit Card company can potentially not recover your duplicate payment.

So either Atlas Choice or their chosen suppliers are running this SCAM.

STRONGLY RECOMEND TO DEAL DIRECT WITH RENTAL COMPANY

i have made a big mistake by using this company , i have rented a car through their website for my christmas holiday to Turkey and i have confirmed even winter tires with writing before arriving the destination.

with my prepaid voucher I went to their supplier , i have been told there is a booking but i have to pay again because atlas choice owned them 50000 euro, they have held me over 2 hours until 2 am and forced me to pay the rental fee again with higher price , i have called their offices maybe 10 times no one was helpful and they have still not refunded the money

I have been told they are bankrupting and received no calls.

My prepaid voucher was £165 and had to pay over £300 they are still holding my money

i have emailed them for complain . they were very rude and still no answer

please do not rent anyhthing from this company complete crooks!!!

STRONGLY RECOMEND TO DEAL DIRECT WITH RENTAL COMPANY

The failure to honor my booking for a car (after paying again) and my search to find a quick refund suggests fraud.
Who can guess who "Anna Webb, Claire Dixon, and Martin Holley" might be, who all offer opinions at the 5star level!

Opted for meet and greet service as Malaga Airport as I'd read of the long waits when picking up the car via the desk service (definitely worth doing and not that much more expensive). The person was there on time to meet us after clearing immigration/customs and led us to the car - which was fine, although had a few dents/scratches so needed to make sure these were all noted on the paperwork. Returning the car was very easy, dropped it off as the designated place and again the rep was there on time to sign off the paperwork as agreed. No problems and overall very satisfied with the service.

After making my booking in October the company never passed on the booking details to the car hire company. They then contacted me 2 days before my booking was due to start and 4 days before Christmas they then cancelled my booking without any explanation and without any refund. No one contacts you and you can't get hold of anyone. Terrible, Avoid at all costs. Would be 0 stars if I was allowed to choose that rating
