Needed an urgent tyre replacement on my Audi and they couldn’t have been more helpful, compared to most other tyre vendors in York I approached, most of whom came back with a stroppy ‘No we’re busy go away’ response. 4 new tyres, 2 damaged wheels
4 new tyres, 2 damaged wheels.
Ordered a set of 4 tyres online, very competitively priced.
Car went in with 4 pristine alloys, both fronts damaged during fitting.
Booked an hours appointment online to have four new tyres fitted. Arrived on time, booked in by a friendly chap, waited in the reception area. An hour and twenty minutes later I asked about the progress and was told it was taking a bit of time as the fitter had trouble removing the old tyres. At no stage of the waiting process was I informed of the progress which I thought was pretty poor. After an hour and a half the car was ready, I had a quick look at the wheels, all seemed fine. Got the car home, wiped off bits of white gunk from my alloys and was very unimpressed to find that both front alloys were damaged.
Wouldn't recommend, false economy, go to somewhere reputable with decent Customer Service and skilled technicians.
Also recieved an unwanted and unrequested vehicle health check, pointless, my car has an onboard computer telling me my vehicle health, very outdated.
