Nice car shame about the dealership
Audi Preston was the worst car dealership we have dealt with. We picked a brand new Audi we wanted, all we needed to finalise the deal was a test drive. That is where it all started to go wrong. There were so many issues I made a formal complaint which was not dealt with by Audi Preston.
I then complained to Audi head office, where you receive a nice apology letter and told you will hear back in 48hrs. 8 days later no one made any contact so I wrote back to them and got another nice letter of apology but still no action.
We loved the car but if this is how bad it is while spending nearly £60,000 with them, what would the after service be like once they have your money.
We are not now pursuing this car, I can say we have had much better service from BMW and Mercedes.
I see Audi have several bad reviews and I can now understand why. Even the salesperson who was dealing with us suddenly left without warning. There are clearly some deep problems with this company but I for one do not want to take that risk. Family and friends are shocked at the service we received as years ago they were very good.
I think if they wanted to improve they first have to communicate with customers. Don't tell customers you will hear back within 48 hrs and no one follows this up, very insulting especially while you are complaining about their poor service.
Stanstead Audi a superb dealership
I brought my Q3 from Vincenzo at Stansted Audi , the customer service is amazing , I wouldn't buy from anywhere else. Vincenzo helped me from start to finish with every detail , was a pleasure to work with him .
Extremely poor service and a disappointing new car
I received a new A5, which was driven to me from Corby and when I opened the bonnet I found a cleaning spray bottle hanging in the engine. The rear bench was broken and part of the interior ambient lights don't work. Audi have failed to respond for over a month now.
It seems I am obligated to pay the agreed monthly cost on this brand new car, but Audi are not obligated to provide the service or the car as you would expect
How Bolton Audi have treated my…
How Bolton Audi have treated my daughter on the purchase of her car is diabolical.
What I've seen is they are great until they are paid and then no interest once they have the money. If there is anything wrong with the car you are buying and you receive a verbal promise it will be corrected then you must either get this in writing or get it done before purchase. They are not one bit helpful once they have the sale and payment. BE WARNED.
She has been bounced around from person to person for months.

Audi Stockport -Despite my clear instructions not to perform a complimentary wash and vacuum on my ceramic-coated car, it was washed anyway and returned with scratches and swirl marks. The dealership now denies carrying out the wash, even after I provided photographic evidence. To repair the damage, I had to pay an accredited car detailer £350 for a stage one correction and a coating top-up. My emails have gone unanswered, which is unacceptable. I will now be escalating this matter to the Motor Ombudsman.
Audi Watford 5 stars
Audi Watford are brilliant. Highly professional, very attentive and really lovely people who go out their way to help. In particular Ozzy 😁. Great guy and honest. Thanks Ozzy!

Thankyou so Much Sam and Dexter for our new Audi's! We had a budget and you sorted us both out new cars within it, both personalities were fantastic and we are glad we walked in the door!
Extremely Disappointing Experience – Marshalls Audi Cloudson
Marshalls Audi Cloudson may appear friendly and attentive when selling you a car, but once the sale is complete, the customer service quickly disappears. I purchased an Audi Q3 RS (registration BA21 HPC) and from the moment I left the dealership, the car proved to be faulty. The engine warning light appeared immediately, there was a strong smell of a fuel leak, and a tyre sensor activated. I reported this straight away, and the vehicle was taken in for over two weeks without a single proactive update.
When the car was eventually returned, I noticed a significant amount of mileage had been added. I was told this was due to “road compliance testing.” However, on the very same day I collected the vehicle, the engine warning light reappeared for the exact same fault.
The car was then taken back again for a further week, with no updates provided. At this point, I requested a refund as it was clear the vehicle was not fit for purpose. Throughout the entire process, I was treated unprofessionally: managers repeatedly passed responsibility onto one another, leaving me feeling dismissed and not valued as a customer.
Ultimately, I chose a refund as the only safe option. This dealership may be welcoming when trying to secure a sale, but the moment you need support, the service is extremely poor. I would not recommend Marshalls Audi Cloudson to anyone – both the vehicle and the customer care fell far short of what should be expected from an Audi dealership.
Audi Cardiff has some of the worse…
Audi Cardiff has some of the worse customer service I have ever experienced. Their after sales service team are rude and not interested in speaking with you and trying to get a phone call from them is like trying to win the lottery. Sadly the sales team is now going the same way. The last time I have been in there to talk about a new car they failed to book my in to speak with them after arranging it 3 weeks in advanced then tried to tell me it’s hard at the moment as they are always very busy. It’s a shame after coming here for 10 years to see what it has become.

We have dealt with Audi Watford for over 10 years. During that time my wife and I have purchased 4 S3 models from new. (saloon, convertibles and fastback). The people are really nice to deal with BUT belatedly we have discovered that the servicing and maintenance costs are a complete rip off. This is obviously not the staff's fault as the egregious prices are no doubt handed down from head office. We have found Audi specialists who do the necessary work at a fraction of the price. If you need work done on your Audi, my advice is to go for an independent specialist
Dire customer care
Hugely disappointed with Audi UK's customer service. ABS system failed costing thousands of pounds to replace. Audi UK would not contribute to cost as car no longer in warranty, even though the module should last longer. Poor quality and dire customer care.
Steer clear!
Poor customer service
Audi Riversway, Preston - Avoid
Poor customer service.
Car was with service team for two days. When collected issue not resolved on computer dash, didn’t call to say vehicle was ready.
Phones were unanswered all day and no apology for inconvenience.
Generally poor management and lack of customer service / awareness.
Would actively NOT go to this Swansway owned franchise group. Avoid.

Went into the Audi dealership opposite Cribbs Causeway to discuss a new car purchase. It was the worst dealership experience I’ve encountered. The main receptionist ignored me for a long time while she entered her personal details on a personal mobile phone app - might have been a dating app. The other much younger receptionist could see I was being ignored tried to offer help, but it was just a little too late to recover the situation from my personal viewpoint. Really disappointing experience and I will not be setting foot inside an Audi dealership ever again.

i'm not surprised Audi have a very low score here, Audi Leicester are a very rude and ignorant company, they dont even bother to reply to customer enquiries, but at the end of the day its your loss as i bought elsewhere, get your act together.
Absolutely disgraceful aftercare
Absolutely disgraceful aftercare for a premium badge. Staff at garage didn't know what they had sold me, service plan got nasty as apparently I claimed an MOT that was not included. Not my fault the dealership who sold me the car said nothing to pay!
Engine broke on 3yr old car repaired under warranty but had to argue as dealership said no warranty even though paperwork from sale confirmed this!
The icing on the cake of the appalling customer service came when sold the car couldn't cancel the remote connect licences, passed round departments for over 1hour! In the end I've just given up.
Im so glad to cut ties with Audi and due to the after care I shan't rush to buy one again. I think audi need to be rebranded as a non premium badge!
I got in touch with Audi customer…
I got in touch with Audi customer services last week and this morning for previous service history.
they couldn't find part of it that I knew about, the lad said he would investigate , I thought there would be no chance of hearing from him again but give him his due he got back today with the full history I was able to print off and take it to the dealership I was selling to.
Many thanks.
Audi harold wood service is by far the…
Audi harold wood service is by far the worst car dealership i have ever had the displeasure of dealing with, my car has been in for the same fault 6 times, on 3 occasions of collecting the car they had damaged the car ( mirrors scratched that they had replaced, damaged wheel and recently scratches on the passenger door that they had been working on. They finally dropped the car back off on a Thursday evening with damage and panels left loose and a replaced cable that they have cable tied to a radiator hose. After failing to answer the phone or emails all day Friday even an executive from Audi UK tried and failed we have a car sitting outside my house unfit and unsafe to use. Avoid at all costs i have seen so many bad reviews about this dealer and wish I checked first before buying my Q7.

Audi are very good as selling but after care is awful.
I bought my 3rd Audi in a row from the Tamworth branch. They are very good at selling. I have had nothing but constant electrical issues since I purchased the car but because they happen randomly, the service department can't replicate the problems they won't do anything about it. I have also just had a recall, they couldn't tell me if the car was safe to drive and they couldn't fit me in for 3 months, unless I wait in their reception area for 3 hours. Why is my time less precious than Audis. Awful service and I will never ever buy another Audi.
Avoid west London Audi
Avoid west London Audi, car has been back and forth in there I don’t know how many times in 6 months, all for the same issue and no luck with getting any answers. First a break servo warning message and now a check clutch warning message, all I’m getting is lied to and fobbed off and this is not good enough. I’ve been having the brake servo message come up since I brought the car back in November last year, the most recent time the car went into the garage ( 3 days ago) the AA recovery guy told me there was 4 faults on my vehicle and gave me the codes, on the car getting into the garage they have told me that there are no codes and everything is okay and it’s normal for the brake message to come up. Audi you really need to up your standards as they have massively dropped and the customer service is appalling, will never ever buy a car from you again.!!
Save your vehicle before it's too late
2025 July 21st 10am Harold wood Audi service centre, that was when my MOT booking was for I was supposed to go in for a simple MOT and be gone by 12pm as time went by I received as per usual a link from Audi group 1 showing me the inspection they carried out and a list of advisories and urgent work that needed to be done going through the list I noticed there was a recall & brake fluid down as urgent and flat tire canister and first aid kit (apparently missing) down as advisory funny thing was the last couple years I've been to this service centre they have never put that down as a advisory because my car from factory never came with a first aid kit in the first place this was worrying as it showed that they didn't inspect the car properly, as it went past 12pm I had thoughts something was going wrong a employee from the garage came into the waiting room and mentioned to a advisor that they noticed my ECU had work done to it and they done a recall update on my car and went off without telling me too take into consideration I didn't accept any of the jobs needing to be done especially the recall software update as I had work done to my car ECU without any consultation or conversation before carrying work out Audi technician done the recall without my acknowledgement I then find out my car no longer turns on or work or drive Harold wood Audi had officially damaged the ECU after speaking with two managers (technician/department manager) it took me 3 hours past 12pm to finally find out they admitted one of their technicians has caused the problem and they accepted they were liable for damage I was very unhappy with both conversations with both managers as they tried to blame the vehicle and me but as I didn't accept the work that apparently needing to be done they finally gave in and accepted the fault they agreed that my original ECU would be reset repaired and put back in but then it got worse two weeks later I find out not from Audi but from my mate who did the work on the ECU the original ECU from factory is damaged without any updates Audi technician tried to put in a incompatible ECU into my car possibly trying to house the issue that is why I wasn't contacted by them flagging up a engine warning light which they tried coding out which was impossible now I'm having to wait a whole new week for a refurbished ECU before agreeing to repair the ecu I did mention the problem they caused will be going to the head office and I will make sure the employee will be getting a talking to the technician management then said 'okay you do what you need to do and I'll do what I need to do but I'm guaranteeing that nothing will happen to my employees and they will not be getting dismissed' this is really worrying especially for a massive company to have employees like this causing problems for customers and hiding it behind closed doors this was really worrying and for a massive company even more worrying that they have these type of people managing the department with such a mindset it's one thing for customers and one thing for the ones inside as I can say I will never be going back to Harold wood Audi service centre again service was appalling and management (technician/department manager) behaviour was disgusting I can't trust this won't happen again as I have been told by Harold wood department management that the guy that caused the issue is really experienced and has years of Audi work under his belt clearly this has proven otherwise as I apparently had some advisories and urgent work on the car it was scary to find out that Audi didn't mention if I needed any of the work done or if it had been done and just passed me on my MOT without any of these showing up on the gov website MOT page you could have a serious issue with your car and Audi could possibly not mention it and pass you regardless it has caused me so much stress and issues management them selves did say 'one thing is we will definitely not be compensating you for this the most we can do is give you a free service for next year' what are your thoughts on this as I know I won't be trusting Audi anymore and the way the department manager speaks to you (Andrew) and treats your experience with them as a customer is as if he's known you for a long time letting you down and letting you leave with a bad taste in your mouth I recommend no one to trust Harold wood Audi
