Had a great trip, well put together and organised.

We have just returned from an amazing holiday to Canada. We are so grateful to Alice Wright from Audley Travel for her help and dedication in arranging this special birthday trip. She was patient when I was indecisive in arranging my husband’s 60th birthday trip. We had a few hotels booked, cars and trips arranged and I had a few worries as to whether there would be any issues on arrival to various destinations. I needn’t have worried, every part of the trip flowed seamlessly and this was all down to Alice’s meticulous planning.

Audley organised an excellent family holiday for us in South Africa and Zanzibar. Both Kirsty and Harriet were excellent at listening to our ideas and implementing them. They were friendly and professional, knowledgeable about the various locations, happy to flex the arrangements and make changes where necessary to the proposed itinerary to reflect our particular wishes and needs, and worked very efficiently with us to make it all happen. There were a few communication and other small glitches as the holiday was being put together but nothing major and any issues were quickly addressed and the overall service provided by the team was first-class. One member of our family has a serious peanut allergy which makes some travel daunting. Both Kirsty and Harriet took our concerns very seriously and did an excellent job in discussing the situation with the airlines and hotels/lodges and ensuring that all possible precautions were taken.

The holiday itself worked perfectly - the guest houses in Cape Town and Franschhoek were very good choices for our family and suited us well - perfectly situated, relaxed and comfortably luxurious but with friendly and welcoming atmospheres too. Our safari adventure in Shumbalala, in Thorneybush Reserve/Kruger, was nothing short of spectacular. We had always hoped that this would be the special part of the trip and it was more than we could have hoped for. It is difficult to think of how it could have been better - a very special thank you to the whole team there and to our amazing guide and tracker in particular. The accommodation and atmosphere was great, nothing was too much trouble for anyone, the attention to detail was fantastic and the whole experience felt very personal. Great rooms, wonderful food and incredible game drives. Fantastic all round! Breezes Beach Club in Zanzibar was also a very good choice for us for a few days relaxing on a beach - a lovely hotel in a beautiful location, lots of beach and water activities, good food and friendly and attentive hotel staff.

All of our flights, connections and pick-ups worked well and the local agents working with Audley (New Frontiers, Ilios Travel and ZanTours) were all very good and reliable. The pick-ups were on time, the drivers were friendly, professional and informative and being guided through the airports on arrival was an excellent service and made our lives very easy. The day-long excursion we booked in Cape Town was also great and well organised, with an excellent guide (Justin). The only negative in the whole trip is that we would not want to fly with Precision Air again (from Zanzibar) - they were pretty chaotic, changed our flight times twice in the last 24 hours, and neither the airport process or the flight itself inspired us with any confidence.

Huge thanks to Kirsty and Harriet, and the wider Audley team, for helping us put together a very memorable holiday. It was very well organised, and we loved all of it!

I worked with Lynette, who cared about every aspect of the trip. She took much time to understand our pretty specific needs and worked tirelessly to provide options that would meet our needs and requirements. It was a pleasure to work with Lynette, who took care of all the hassle leaving us to enjoy the trip entirely and without stress.

Charlotte was quick to respond, catered for our needs and answered all of our questions. We would definitely use Audley again. They put together a fantastic package for our family.

We asked Audley Travel to organise an African Safari for us which included Zambia, Tanzania and Zanzibar. We had high expectations and Isabelle Evans from Audley arranged it all. The holiday was way above our expectations.

Amazing Trip to Borneo.Our agent Charlotte planned everything in detail. Accommodation was great and drivers etc were all on time. We would never have been able to plan such a detailed itinerary on our own. We saw all the wildlife we hoped for, climbed a mountain and managed to fit in planned sightseeing bike rides and kayaking.

Robyn curated a fantastic safari trip to South Africa for us. The accommodation and service at our Simbavato Hilltop Lodge was excellent, overlooking a lake with a family of hippos who loved showing off! The guides were very knowledgeable and we saw the Big 5 and more. Cape Town is a beautiful city and we thank Robyn for organising our day trips and itinerary there too.

We booked our honeymoon to South Africa and Mauritius through Audley Travel and had a fantastic experience. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, everything ran smoothly, and the balance between safari, exploring and relaxing was perfect. The team were knowledgeable, responsive and easy to deal with throughout. A truly unforgettable trip and we would happily recommend Audley.

I chose Audley as they ticked all the boxes of the experiences I wanted as a solo traveller to Equador, the Amazon and Galapagos.

We wanted a small resort in Zanzibar, a bit of luxury, a lot of relaxation with a casual relaxed feel and we also wanted to visit Zanzibar. Isabelle at Audley ticked all of our boxes - based also on her personal experience at the Zawadi Resort. Everything she told us about was absolutely true and she understood our brief perfectly. We had the most amazing time. We have used Audley for many years and really would not trust out precious holiday plans with anyone else. Their specialists are so knowledgable, friendly and efficient. Really recommend the resort and certainly would recommend Audley.

Grace Naylor was amazing as our Iceland specialist ! We had a once in a lifetime trip and it couldn't have gone smoother thanks to Grace's planning.She was patient in answering all of my questions and the back and forth about the itinerary. All of the services she booked were incredible and at a very high standard. Couldn't recommend her more!

Tanzania Safari trip.

This was our first safari and second trio with Audley, and what an experience it turned out to be in Tanzania.

The whole trip was organised brilliantly from start to finish. A big thank you to Robyn, who answered all of our questions over the months leading up to the holiday and sorted out a few "unexpected" issues before we travelled. I just had to seat and enjoy the trip.

The trip was especially meaningful as we were celebrating my (slightly late! birthday, could have ask for a better one than seeing all those animals especially a baby elephant.

Our guide, Shaban, was outstanding. We never felt rushed, he shared so much knowledge and I specially enjoyed finding the Rhino and Leopard with him, and somehow always he seemed to know where to be at the right time. From our balloon safari over the Serengeti to watching lions, elephants, cheetahs and countless other animals and even a honey badger.

I'd also like to thank the team at our Tarangire camp. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

We wanted a stress free trip to South Africa without hiring a car. We decided to talk to Audley and had the pleasure to discuss all our requirements with Czeska Sztuka she was the specialist for this country and certainly knew all about the areas we wished to visit. We arrived in Johannesburg and were met by an agent to escort us to our driver and take us to our first stay. For us we were mixing a holiday with a visit to family and Czeska fully understood our need to mix the holiday with family visits. We wanted to stay in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Stellenbosch. Czeska came back with the prefect package for us and we had a wonderful time. She was on Hand before our trip and for odd questions during our trip and make sure we returned home safely. We cannot rate Audley and Czeska highly enough and will be using their services again, in fact we already have another trip booked. Everything with Audley is seamless and prefect. We highly recommend them and in particular our specialist Czeska

We were travelling to celebrate my partner's mum's 60th birthday, Robyn helped create an itinerary that was perfect for our group. One of the highlights was our stay at Last Word Kitara, which completely exceeded our expectations. As first-time safari-goers, we were absolutely blown away from start to finish!
