They’re owned by the Guernsey States who just want to take as much money as they can because they can. The luggage size for the cabins is very small they don’t provide the right gauges at all airports for you to check your baggage size, so when you try to leave guernsey they can just say it’s too big as they have smaller gauges at the Guernsey airport.They are the only flight company so they can get away with it . Terrible customer service.

Disgraceful service and misleading information. SCAM!
I've travelled with this particular airline a few times now and I have been frequently disappointed. Not only are the cabin crew rude and unhelpful, they categorically don't provide the "friendly in-flight service" that we all pay good money for. On another note, the guidance referring to hand luggage regulations is unclear. My wife had her bag checked in the metal baskets and although it was completely fine on the travel to Guernsey, on the return back to Gatwick, she was charged £40. When we measured bag upon return home, we found that it in fact fit within the requirements listed on Aurigny's website. This is disgraceful. My wife was in tears. I think this airline has potential (especially considering its value for the channel islands) but it really needs a re-evaluation of their customer service and policy.
Poor but what option do you have?
Been flying with Aurigny for 15 years now. They once provided a good level of service, however these days it's inconsistent and I honestly dread using them.
Uncomfortable seats, little leg room and poor customer service for the price you pay.
It's a shame they have a monopoly on the channel islands as a competitor would probably shake things up in our favour as customers.
Bad customer service
If it was not for the shocking behaviour of a male cabin crew member who responded to my polite question with sarcasm and rudeness ('You were rude to me'. 'I know I was rude to you!') and not much better Customer Complain service ('we will see if we can do anything but this is an internal investigation and do not expect any update'), it would be quite pleasant. Unfortunately, we never got a formal apology from customer services and did not give us confidence that they control the situation or have policies to discipline their employees. We cannot risk to be mistreated again so will be travelling with competition from now on.
My Flight Was Cancelled, But...
As a frequent traveler, the only reviews I often write are of negative experiences however, although my flight was canceled until the following day, the service I received was nothing short of professional. It's not uncommon for things to go wrong especially within avaitation but it's how the companies respond when things do go wrong.
Used to be a good little airline…
Used to be a good little airline. Now they’re not reliable. If they let you down you can sometimes claim a refund. However, so they make money and interest at your expense and balance their cashflow, they make the recovery of any monies owed harder than escaping from Alcatraz. Invariably when things go bad, they don’t communicate, I’d give them two stars but they don’t even fly the TriLanders anymore so absolutely no fun whatsoever. Guernsey needs to drop most of its mainland flights and just ferry people to Jersey and use that as a hub.
What customer service?????
Aurigny lost my luggage on a flight to Guernsey. When I reported it, a male member of staff just did not care. He said ‘fill out a form’ and walked off- didn’t even give me a form! Still awaiting their advertised compensation, which is a pittance, despite me sending several emails.
Jack at Southampton airport really…
Jack at Southampton airport really helped us today. Changed my partner flights to earlier saving a wait of 10 hours. Did it in a heartbeat with no issues and also transferred our bags from Southampton to Guernsey, guernsey to Alderney. If you see this jack you made our holiday!
Excellent service very happy from…
Excellent service very happy from Guernsey to Gatwick airport then on the way back arrived at Gatwick about 5 hours early for my flight and first day of holiday season it was chaos at Gatwick I was with my elderly Mum and we really didn't want to hang around so I asked if we could get on an earlier flight and it was no trouble at all we got the last two seats and we were on our way back to Guernsey with in an an hour and appreciate it so much thank you aurigny airlines.
A well merited 5 stars.
This was the first time Ive flown with the airline and the ground stuff at Gatwick could not have been more helpful as I managed to miss my original flight! Oops….
I was told there would be a £65 retrieval fee for my luggage. This was waived as the wrong bag was taken off the aeroplane. Oops….
However, they kindly put me on the later flight and I arrived in Guernsey in good time to do what I needed to do on the island.
The staff at Gatwick could not have been more kinder or caring for which I’m grateful.
The flight was fine but really too short for me as I love flying.
Not a care for the safety of their customers
My husband and I flew with Aurigny for the first time this Christmas. We were a little apprehensive about flying because of the pandemic but wanted to see our daughter and husband. We have flown with Flybe in the past and never paid to reserve seats as we are not really worried where we sit on the aircraft for a 30min flight. We have always been seated together though and assumed we would be this time…..not so. We were seated next to strangers on both legs of the journey even though there were quite a few spare seats available on both trips. I can’t believe that Aurigny didn’t take the safety of their customers into account when giving us seats.
Amazing aurigny hostess
My girlfriend and I both have exemptions and can't wear masks. Your staff were very friendly about that. Especially the hostess on the Southampton to Guernsey flight (wish I'd got her name)...she was very kind and awesome at her job in general!! Women like that need raises (and men)...please consider upping hers!! She really deserves it!
Unfair fees for name change
£40 pounds for a name change. Minor mistake but £40!!! Costs 1/3 of the whole flight itself. Be fair at least. Absolute robbery.
Train your staff!
The staff are apathetic, rude, and show no common courtesy to passengers. I am writing this review after encountering the worst individual I have ever met at an airport yesterday.
The woman checking in luggage at Heathrow airport for flight GR607 on 14 August 2021 is not suited to customer service at all. From the second I said ‘hi’ to her when I first walked to the desk, she made it obvious that she was is a miserable mood. After I answered and question or responded to anything, she would speak in a sarcastic tone, mock me, or start making the kind of faces an annoyed teenage girl would make. I was really shocked with her behaviour the entire time. I never said anything nasty to her. I always said ‘yes please’ and ‘thank you’ after everything. I do not understand why she was so moody and bitchy.
This woman was blonde, had really unprofessional neon yellow and orange nail extensions, and was a bit large.
If you are in a miserable mood, do not take it out on customers. Do not bring your personal problems to work. It makes it hard to sympathise or understand someone when they are very hostile.

My partner and I were flying to Guernsey with the view to emigrate - it's such a shame that this airline was our first experience of the island.
Distinct "ryanair vibe" from the whole company; ie. will squeeze you for every possible penny.
They force you to pay extra to choose your seat - there is no option to avoid this, its a compulsory charge
Disorganised as hell - I've never been on a slower boarding flight. It was the ONLY flight leaving that airport, and there were only 20 passengers.
When I called customer service they were rude and dismissive.
They only get away with it because they have the Monopoly, here's hoping they get uprooted by another company in the future.

I had three holidays booked this year for a special birthday I have stressed in getting money back from two other companies with a lot of heartache BUT thank you Aurigny you have transferred my money without one email or phone call And I cannot thank you enough......I will definitely book my holiday with you again when life is normal VERY IMPRESSED.
NOT REFUNDING - TERRIBLE SERVICE
I understand that these are difficult circumstances but Aurigny are just not refunding. All you receive when you try and contact them are generic emails stating they are dealing with a backlog from March. They are trying everything possible to not refund. I do not want vouchers, I would like a refund. I had booked on behalf of 3 pensioners and they would like their money back.... Appalling customer service....

Its all about the dollars not the people
Am a US citizen who planned to vacation in the UK. With the Coronavirus, we had to cancel our plans. Every business that we preplanned and prepayed with has been so kind and refunded every dollar even-though all our tours were labeled “non refundable “. Our international flight first class booked with delta airlines also refunded every cent! Aurigny, is the only exception. They told me use my travel insurance because they are not giving me a refund. There are only 4 people on our flight with Aurigny for departure and 7 on the return flight. Can you believe at this time, with this world pandemic emergency situation that this airline refuses a refund. Its not like I merely just changed my mind. Im not allowed to get to UK to take this flight from this airline. This, i feel, is SHAMEFUL. American citizens, avoid this airline!!
