Hi everybody my name is Tami LYN I am legally blind. I have written two books with author House, but this experience with my book what is Kwanzaa? Has been devastating. this book serves as a reference and resource guide however the mistake of putting the rough draft of my PREFACE in as my final manuscript has left me palmy with tears flowing of sadness. it has been a long journey from the incorrect spellings on the description page where you check out to having wrong covers and the first representative using her words. I am no hater, but being legally blind I depend upon the integrity of those I work with, collaborate and higher. I just cannot believe it I have been out here promoting the book on my 2 feet not computer savvy and this once I read this for myself I could’ve found it. To busy to even ring and take ages to reply to emails. keep saying someone elses dept and they will contact you. come on ive given you my money.
I was so keen to get my book published (my life in a letter) that I paid the whole amount they wanted in one go, BIG MISTAKE. i am dyslexic on vowels and my Punctuation is not good. i spoke about some to look at my spelling etc. but they didn't,they printed the book as it was. and belive me the book is embarrassing with all the mistakes. The cover although good, was not quite what I wanted. so after five months of trying to get a hold of someone, I got a price list of what to pay to get it right. the trouble with paying up front in stead of each section,they don't tell you where to wright what you want on the front or back or the forward,or even the more from this author. i had no idea how it worked, they said send the manuscripts and a picture of what you want on the cover with a description, they never did anything apart from use the picture. and again no communication, part from the odd email asking another question and not telling me how to do what ever the problem was.
and I still want the book to be republished because it's a shameful mess, and I'm embarrassed to put my name to it. (shabbafret) and I've got to pay more. i don't think the next three books are going to be published with these,

I had a phone call to resolve my concerns, so we will see how it goes; why did it take this to get it moving, though?

Just saying that they have let me down again.

I have re written my book ( my life in a letter ) without mistakes in it . They have reprinted the book but you can not get it from anywhere . The old one can be found if you look hard enough . I have emailed everyone I have been in contact with, NO REPLY. Apart from the good lady that sold me 12 copies of my own book that I had to paid for . No freebies , oh wait they did let me have one free. Amazon kindle are the old book. So it is almost impossible to get the new book unless I buy them. Waste of time this company I wish I had gone with anyone else. And will not be using them again for the next two books in the series. Or my poetry.

Not sorted even after a year
My revised book isn’t available anywhere it’s still the old one on Amazon even though both party’s say it’s available if anyone knows how to and where to buy ( My Life In A Letter from let me know please. Rubbish company

Still not able to buy my updated book my life in a letter.been over a year. Since re writing can not buy from anywhere apart from author house this is no where near good enough just think on if you are

Ok I brought one of my newly revised book from author house that was the new one . And one from kindle that was the old one . I’ve spoke to both party’s and the new book is only available at author house.

Advice to anyone reading this . Don’t publish with author house full stop

This is the first time I've engaged a publisher to have a book printed & published. I found the whole process far easier than I expected. The AuthorHouse team I was connecting with made the whole journey an enjoyable experience.

Total scam. Run, far, far, far way.
Six years ago in 2018 I lost 1,800$ buying their publishers packages
. Six different consultants worked with my book project . In 2023 the Editorial service didn’t finished my editing manuscript. Every time they were calling me trying to sell me unnecessary services .

I started at the end of November/ 2023 my book editing with Nolan Estes & Editorial team, but they were nowhere to be found. I was emailing
& calling to check my progress.
Before paying I was called every day to buy a second publishing package again, again, again !
After paying & submitting my manuscript, so far no editor from Editorial has been assigned to my book project, and no more return calls. I was asked to submit my manuscript and relax enjoying the holidays,
not to worry about it. 

 I am not paying another 1,800$ (plus 299$ for front book cover design ) for Content Editing Plus (0, 046 per words).
It was promised a big Christmas 
discount which didn't happen. 

On 12/12/23 suddenly they cancelled my editing as a whole so nothing has been worked on. The final excuse was :
“We’re sorry for any confusion.”

My professional book editing project should be ready today after six weeks .
My order was cancelled & nothing was completed. This is not acceptable for Author house publishing scam proses.
I was just cancelled with no explanation given by email . My two packages of 1800$ deal was stop because of six years procrastination since 2018.

worn a new writers thinking to publish their books .For six years I had enough with this publishing scam called Author House Publishing.

THIS IS A WARNING TO ALL AUTHORS: THE WORST MISTAKE YOU CAN EVER MAKE IS TO SIGN AN AUTHORHOUSE CONTRACT. YOU DON'T HAVE TO TAKE MY WORD. ASK THEM TO SEND YOU A CONTRACT AND READ IT CAREFULLY, ESPECIALLY 6.1 AND 6.2. YOU WILL BE SHOCKED THAT SUCH AN EVIL CONTRACT CAN EXIST IN THE SO-CALLED CIVILIZED WORLD. I'M GRATEFUL THAT I FOUND OUT THAT THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH BEFORE I SUBMITTED MY MANUSCRIPT.

Writing the 2nd book was hard - but - publishing it with Authorhouse was easy! Very happy with the support throughout the process ... Thank you!

I initially stated that I wanted my book to be a size of 8.5x11. During the process it was changed to 6x9. I didn’t know until I actually ordered a copy for myself. I immediately asked for it to be reformatted. I have worked with several people since. Most do not respond in a timely manner. I have to send four or five emails before I get a response. This has been going on since October 2023. It is currently mid December 2023 and I am still waiting to approve the reformatting of my book.

This was a life time dream to have my story produced. Author house gave me a product that has made me looking forward to working with them on further projects. I am very technically handicap, and with my limited resources authorhouse a given me a product that could make my limited technical tools make for a better story. Using an android phone I believe Ive create a book that will receive recognition and respect. It shows how when Talent is combined with technical expertise Art can go to other levels of communication.

I was treated badly over the phone by sales rep Beeler and needed to call his supervisor. The supervisor was very kind and solved the situation by sending three of my included-in-package books with no shipping cost.

This was my first publishing experience and the Authorhouse team answered all of my questions and honored all of the contractual agreements. They did a wonderful job of utilizing my graphic images for the book cover and the interior layout they proposed only need a few very minor tweaks. I have a second companion publication ready when the time is right and see no reason to publish elsewhere.

This company is great experience and very knowledgeable and helpful!!

i am a author , they puplished my book . The Legend of Kringle. the illustration came out great and so did the book no complaints.

The book was ordered and received very quickly. The impression of the book was fine.
