Auto Plates Direct Limited Reviews 

Absolutely terrible can't contact the company. Didn't receive our goods. We are cancelling payment due to not being able to contact the company .dreadful service would definitely not recommend.

So I've read the reviews and this is my experience. Ordered the bike plate and after looking at the preview pane i was happy with the alignment etc. i placed the order and received my plates the next day. Unfortunately the letters were not in line and i phoned them up next working day and spoke with Richard. He was extremely helpful and said he would look into it. I did ask if he had my email to which he was unable to find so i sent it again. I received an e-mail from Rachel who was blunt replying thats how the software works when making the plate. I called them back ( all happened on same day) and again Richard answered and informed me plate had been done and was in the post. I received it following day and it's perfect. The preview you see before you order may not be in line if you get a uk or similar badge on it. Imo Richard 5 stars Rachel 1 Star for no customer compassion. Their website states we understand how important even the slightest detail is to the customer. Richard who makes the plates gets that so thank you. I would have given 5 stars if Rachel wasn't so blunt.

Ordered pa set of plates which I paid £8.99 for special next day delivery. They arrived 2 days late at sorting office but were unable to deliver to me as my name and address was unreadable. Have contacted company several times and just get ignored. Go to Halfords people, you know what your getting.

A complete con. They are based in the Channel Islands. I don't expect to see my plate. As they don't ask for proof of ownership, I don't think they are allowed to supply number plates in the UK. Go to Halfords.

Ordered a pair of plates on the 28th of May. They sent the wrong size, completely unusable contacted them and was told by someone called Rich they would sort this out ASAP. No replacement received, so contacted them again only to be told leave it with me I'll look into it, still no replacement received . Since then I have sent numerous messages over the weeks and been ignored. Avoid this company, terrible service, I will be going through PayPal for a refund.

Plates arrived quickly but with imperfection, emailed approx. a month ago and had no answer.

Following this post the ceo offered to resend plates.

Will adjust review once received.

Orders plates turned up quickly but front plate had 3 black bits sealed under plate?. Sent message 2 weeks later no reply sent another nothing. Obviously don’t care once they have your money never again.

Arrived within two days of ordering which was great and the plates look nice and are good quality. Thanks for the great service.

After speaking with Richard directly, I purchased my new 4D plates at 12pm. I received a picture of my COMPLETED plates at 13:30. I was absolutely amazed but almost in disbelief that they were ready so soon. The plates were on route to me the same day I made the purchase. Highly recommended

The Gel plates from here are spot on (and road legal!), we have them on multiple cars now and even got a set as a present for a family member who loves them.
All orders so far have come just a few days later, really pleased especially as I have had quality issue's with another plate company local to this one (they are 4 months old and bubbling, WTH?), and got recommended to try autoplates instead, so pleased that I did, high quality and will continue to recommend.

My number plates were looking a bit tired so I decided to try something a little different. I ordered from Auto Plates Direct mainly due to the price as I couldn’t believe how affordable they were. The plates arrived within three working days and were very well packaged. I opted for the double sided tape for a cleaner finish and I am super impressed with the quality and finish of the plates.
