I have long regarded this as the goto…
I have long regarded this as the goto business for both buying and selling cars and used several times. Since changed my mind after being scammed by one of their advertisers and reported to auto trader who did absolutly nothing about it. They write saying they are taking things very seriously but do not discuss the outcomes of investigations, or in other words, we are doing nothing and hiding behind this statement. There were communications between myself and the scammers on their platform so they have access to information but have chosen to let them get away with it. I guess that companies advertiing is more important than doing the right thing.

Best advertiser of the 3 I tried
Set up is relatively easy. The cost is comparable. Good analysis of views and enquiries. Of the three advertisers I tried (including EBay) Autotrader got the result. Beware of ‘Is it still for sale?’ timewasters and scams. I had at least 4 scam enquires over all my advarts (1 was from Autotrader)
