I had a MOT and service, done on my 2020 crossland x, they forgot to check they fitted the oil plug correctly. And my new tarmac drive is ruined, covered in oil , it needs retarmacing , but I can't afford it.

We purchased a car from Avalon almost 3 years ago now. No troubles at all, they did exactly what they said. We did not see the car and just had it delivered which i was a little worried about as it was a lot of money. The car turned up exactly as described and they took my wifes Qashqai away as part ex, again no quibbles, gave us what we ask they had agreed. Had to claim for something this week and the warranty company refused to pay but it was soon sorted by Tom at Avalon. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking for a used car and i would not hesitate to use them again. Thanks again to Tom and Avalon a very trusted dealer.

Good experience buying a used car here. Helpful and friendly but never pushy. Car was properly prepped for sale too, which is rare nowadays.

With a car making a strange noise while down in Somerset on holiday we found ourselves at Avalon thanks to a local giving us directions.

When I explained to Hannah on reception that we were on holiday and had a sudden problem with our car I happened to glance down at the desk and see how busy they already were. I was worried that they would be too busy to help but Hannah sprang into action and said of course they would check the car over for us and see if they could get to the root of the problem. Mechanic Tyler was soon taking my car into the workshop to investigate. In less than an hour Tyler had diagnosed the problem and fixed it. All my wheel nuts were loose and one was missing! They had not been retorqued correctly at a previous garage. This could have been catastrophic on our journey back home on the M5 if a wheel had come off.

We are so grateful for the excellent service we recieved from Avalon today, together with Hannah, Tyler and Paul for all their help. We really felt that they had gone above and beyond to help when they were already very busy with other customers. We highly recommend Avalon if you want your car fixed. Thank you to everyone for getting us back on the road so quickly so that our holiday wasn't ruined.

​Avoid this dealership. They sold me a 3 year warranty for a car I had for six months before it was written off in an accident that wasn't my fault. The warranty company told me the dealership would handle the refund, but when I contacted them, they refused to give me anything—even a partial refund. To top it all off, they had the nerve to tell me to contact them if I needed help buying a new car.

"Buy a Volvo, and have Volvo people service it!" That's good advice.

I looked around for a Volvo specialist and found Avalon nearby. They have an excellent customer interface and Volvo-knowledgeable staff. They simply talk Volvo! I had my 2010 XC90 Vida checked and other checks done .... It needed several costly repairs done, but I felt totally confident in the advice given. I now have a list of lower importance 'advisories' and will slowly go through those with Avalon over the coming months/years.

Matt in Sales is excellent. Servicing highly questionable. Failed MOT on tyres. Tried to sell budget replacements at premium prices and so I refused. Took it to National Tyres who charged me less for even their best tyres and was told that the old ones still had 2mm of tread left and at least another 500 miles in them. Won't be going back. Final nail was being charged £24 to turn a single screw. Save your hard earned money and go elsewhere. Rapsons are far more trustworthy.

We rely on our car for work and have to keep up to date with servicing. We have always use the Avalon Service Department and have found them to be excellent. I was faced with the need to replace the clutch on a C1. The Service Department suggested using Payment Assist 0% on repayments over 4 or 6 months. It was easy to set up and gave us the peace of mind that we could manage our finances and be assured that the car would be properly maintained.

Two months after purchasing a Nissan Leaf, I experienced an unforeseeable situation with the tyres. When I brought this up to Avalon Motors, they owned the problem and paid for the repairs. I couldn't be happier with the service. This type of service ensures that I will be a repeat customer.

David was very helpful and made the purchase of the new car very straightforward. Good company to do business with and would recommend them without question.

Very professional team at Avalon Motors. There service engineers are at the very top of there game. Could not fault there work. They are very friendly and very helpful (driving us to where we wanted to go while they were fixing the car). Will keep going back now even though it is about 1 hour from where we live. Recently bought a car, and had a lovely experience. Seen quickly and offered a test drive. Given all the options for purchase, but didn't feel pressure to choose one. Drove away the next weekend. Really happy with the car, would recommend.

My car went in for the yearly service, but it was discovered that it needed a new clutch.
At first, I thought I might leave the repairs and look for another car (also Avalon Motors)
However, I changed my mind the next day, but the service team carried out the repairs promptly.
They were very helpful and kept me informed of the work progress.
My car is running like a dream now and I'm very grateful to the service staff, especially the mechanics.
Their honesty is commendable. My repair bill was paid, but several days later an over payment was noticed by one of the team.
This was quickly rectified and I was promptly refunded.
