I loved using this bracelet a couple of years ago, BUT now I can’t even access my app to sync my bracelet and the website is down as well… now I just wasted $100 for nothing..

The Ava bracelet is reimbursed by thousands of companies. For women who are planning for pregnancy, actively trying, or just want to learn more about their cycles. The female body has been ignored by science for far too long. Ava aims to be a long-term companion for women, providing data-driven and scientifically proven insights along all stages of their reproductive lives. Women want a better understanding of their bodies. Ava provides it by conducting women’s health research, developing innovative products based on that research, and educating to ensure the findings are accessible to all women. Our flagship product, the Ava bracelet, was launched in the US in July 2016, and is now sold worldwide. Worn only during sleep, it provides women with real-time, personalized information about fertility, pregnancy, and general health. The Ava bracelet is the first and only FDA-cleared wearable device that is clinically proven to identify both the opening and closing of the fertile window, letting you know your five best days to try for a baby. Just wear the Ava Bracelet at night to see your five best days to conceive in real time. Ava takes you beyond ovulation day, so you can use your full fertile window to increase your chances of pregnancy. How Ava Conceive works: There are six days a cycle when it's possible to get pregnant. Ava Conceive is clinically proven to recognize five of them. It's easy. Wear Ava to sleep The Ava bracelet collects continuous data while your body is at rest. Wake up and sync In the morning, sync your bracelet to the app to instantly see your results. See your most fertile days Ava Conceive pinpoints your five best days to try for a baby as they're taking place. Track the most fertile days with the greatest accuracy Ava Conceive detects more fertile days than LH tests, which only predict one or two. It works more precisely than a period-tracker app or fitness wearable, which can only estimate your fertile window. And it delivers results in real time, unlike the retrospective temperature method. Avoid fuss and mess With Ava Conceive there’s no need to wake up early to take your temperature or remember to pee on a stick. Just wear the bracelet at night and sync with the app in the morning to see your fertility status in real time. Follow your cycle phases and keep tabs on your health Ava Conceive tracks physiological signals that act as markers for your fluctuating hormone levels. This allows it to detect—not simply predict—which phase of the menstrual cycle you’re in. In addition to fertility tracking, Ava Conceive displays health parameters like temperature, sleep, physiological stress, and resting pulse rate—letting you know when you’re in the best place to make a baby. Track your pregnancy When you get pregnant, continue using Ava Conceive to follow your progress with graphs, trend analysis, and week-by-week content for the whole nine months.

I like what it does but needs more stability.

I like what it does, but it's temperamental with Android phones. Works great on my old phone but fails to sync on my current one. I don't know why that is & I've yet to receive a reply from their customer service. It's also quite flimsy in quality. It could easily break & I think with how much it costs it's not worth the money. Everything it does you can record yourself if you haven't got the money. I've yet to get pregnant with using this as I was already pregnant by the time it came in the post.

Love the data but many issues!

I’ve loved all of the data that the Ava bracelet provides. It seemed after about the first two to three months, it predicted ovulation fairly accurately, however we did not get pregnant until after 9 months of trying and tracking with the Ava bracelet. I had numerous experiences of the bracelet not being able to record data in the morning and numerous experiences of it logging me out during the night and not recognizing my username/password in the morning, and I had to reset it more times than I can remember, which was frustrating when I’m trying to get the best data having just woken up. My bracelet strap has officially broke as well, which does not allow me to use it anymore until I can get a replacement strap or a new bracelet. I have emailed the company back and forth and though I have got a response, it is slow, and the issue has not been resolved after over two weeks now. I am not sure if it is even progressing at all, as I have not heard an update in several days/week. I still want to use the bracelet and would love to see what it’s like during pregnancy, but I’m not sure it will happen at this point unfortunately.

We would be lost without Ava

We would be lost without Ava, it has helped us get pregnant numerous times and because of my irregular cycle, it’s been so easy to track my fertility window. It’s so sleek and comfortable to wear, so happy I invested! Xx

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service! My bracelet melted while charging I have been reaching out for over two months now with no feedback or communication. It almost started my house on fire and is completely destroyed! Still have yet to hear back.

Brilliant technology…poor quality strap

Brilliant technology, terrible quality strap. The first loop for the strap broke early on and after only 6-7 on consecutive wear the strap broke. Did you know they offer a replacement strap? Because I didn’t. Until after my warranty has expired. They offered it to me for half off but it seems to me that a $277 product shouldn’t need a new strap. I wanted to write this review so that others can be aware. I am unsure if the strap has been updated since I bought it in 2020.

Needs an update…

There is a delay when connecting when I put my bracelet on each night. Morning syncing can take FOREVER. And every so often no data is collected even though I wore my bracelet and it connected when I put it in. I love Ava/my experience but it needs a serious facelift.

Warranty claims remain unanswered

I can echo the reviews about the customer service. The only way to contact them is via email and I’ve tried to make a warranty claim for over three weeks now (also a broken bracelet). They’re completely ignoring multiple emails…
I would have advised people 100% to get an ava before this, but because the bracelet is unique and will almost certainly break if used for longer, customer service is a must… and not given.

Poorly made strap…

Originally a good device however the strap is so poorly made that my second one has now broken as well and is unusable. I’ve been emailing Ava for over a month and had no response whatsoever. Terrible customer service and a product that’s now unusable.

Ava women doesn’t reply to emails

I accidentally got charged twice by Apple Pay and was sent two products by Ava women. It’s an expensive product and I need to send one back, but it’s been 12 days now and the company isn’t replying to my emails. Their policy is that I have 14 days to return from the date of order, but under their policy, I can’t return the product until they’ve approved it and sent me a return label. I don’t know what to do. Their only contact is an email address which they don’t reply to.

Conceived on first cycle with Ava!

TTC for over a year with irregular cycles. I felt my app at the time wasn’t helping identify fertile days correctly. Tracked with Ava and conceived on first cycle! My app was off by almost a week. Finger crossed :)

An awesome product that can help you…

An awesome product that can help you become more familiar with your body & help you on your journey to wellness as well as conception. Though the band does not last long, the replacement process can be daunting for some of us & it's very hard to keep clean I love it all the same.

It has detected 6 pregnancies & though they ended in loss each time I am so grateful for the knowledge I have about my fertile window & my own body. Thanks to the AVA, I have been able to plan & move in accordance with my bodies signs and signals.

Thank you all for your customer service & dedication to making baby planning a bit easier for some us struggling with conception.

Good data ; disappointing algorithm

I prefer to get my data points from the Ava (specifically temp) vs using a thermometer but the algorithm was way off for me this time. If I followed it I could not get pregnant using any of the window it identified. I used it for months before we started trying (this is my 3rd pregnancy I used it for) so it should have had time to sync with my cycle and my cycle is within the normal limits, no medications, etc.

Net/Net: good for getting data that you need to interpret outside of the app

Nearly perfect

I definitely love the science of Ava and when it works it is so incredibly helpful. I don’t have normal cycles so it was very difficult for me to pinpoint when the best time to TTC would be. Ava helped me with this and has now been successful for 2 pregnancies. Some nights it doesn’t sync correctly or it will store data on there even when I sync it, which means it won’t be able to read any more data. That’s disappointing because I love seeing where I’m at every morning when I wake up. If these bugs were fixed I think it would be 5 stars. Also, I do use fertility friend to graph my temps that I get from Ava as it’s easier to read and I like the cross hairs. It may be worthwhile to add a similar graphing style to the Ava app. Otherwise, I love the Ava community on Fb and would recommend it to anyone having a hard time getting pregnant!

Ava results were spot on

My Ava results were spot on with my OPK's giving a secondary source to confirming my cycle and peak fertile dates. I received a positive pregnancy test after one month of trying to conceive and 9 months of tracking my cycle with Ava.

I have really enjoyed using the Ava…

I have really enjoyed using the Ava Bracelet. Although for my first pregnancy it wasn't always accurate on periods and even my ovulation date (my free period app was more spot on), but this time around the Ava Bracelet has been very accurate and I just love the articles and how educational it is. I truly feel my knowledge and fertility success is due to the educational articles that come with the Ava Bracelet.

Breaks after a year

If you are buying this bracelet to use for more than a year, beware. I've bought two of these and I've been using them for over 3 years. They bracelet itself breaks after about a year (conveniently right after the one year warranty ends). The loops on the bracelet go first (they rip/unglue) and then goes the rest. The company won't do anything for you (they told me some people use bandaids to hold the bracelet together after it breaks so it's a known by them defect and it's also not a good/helpful response), so you will need to get really creative to figure out how to wear the bracelet if you want to continue to track your temps with it. Such an expensive bracelet should last longer or at least have replacement components of the bracelet for sale since the company knows those silicone parts of the bracelet don't last.

Worth it.

Currently pregnant!

Just remember to put it on every night and it’s incredibly helpful for hammering out your fertile days especially if you use it concurrently with other apps/ovulation testing strips. I really struggled temping every morning so the Ava bracelet was the only way I trusted to have accurate results. Now that I’m pregnant I plan to use it to track my temperature and time slept.

A lot of reviews mention the strap being troublesome but as long as you put it on carefully, you should be fine. I also never had issues with it syncing other than one time that it died during the night (my fault for not charging it) but after I plugged it in it synced right up and even updated.

The only *very mild* complaint I can think of is that the community group isn’t like the forums on other fertility apps, it’s simply an invite to a Facebook group so if you don’t use social media - you’ll have to use another app.

Overall, I’m am very happy with my purchase! I have recommended it to my SIL and girlfriends that are also TTC.

Love and baby dust to all!
