Written by the company

Aylings Garden Centre and Tearoom is a friendly family business situated on the A272 between Midhurst and Trotton. Our charming tearooms have proven to be a delightful place to enjoy an afternoon tea. Geroge Ayling founded Aylings in 1934, he bought 3-acres of land for £300. It took him 4 years to pay off the loan. George, his brother Wilfred and son Anthony ran the business until 1999, when it was sold. It has changed hands a couple times since but since 2017 it was sold to us. With the excellent support of our hard-working employees Aylings has continued to grow. We are able to explore a wider range of quality products such as garden furniture, gifts and cards, we even have locally sourced products from independent creators.

Good service

Good service and prompt delivery - let’s see about the table. There are some very small cracks on the surface of the table - on the powder coating. At this stage I’m not sure if this will affect its lifespan but given a lengthy guarantee I’m not overly concerned

Exceptional service

I don’t often write reviews but the service we received from Aylett’s was exceptional. Sharon in outside furniture helped us with our choice of parasol and when we explained we needed it by Sunday she and the team managed to get it onto a delivery so it was with us less than 2 hours later. So refreshing to find a ‘we can do’ attitude.
