Great values!! Products are always as advertised -- no phoney baloney. Billing and conditions are presented plainly - more transparent than discount Big Box stores. Honestly, I do not know how they handle problems -- I've bought several smartphones from them and NEVER had anything but a smooth experience. I was searching for a laptop to work with during my career change in CyberSecurity. I did research and during my research found Back Market. I was nervous at first from buying off a referbished site (having never done so before). I dont have a lot of money but needed a pretty powerful machine. I Found the laptop I wanted that had the specs I was looking for in "fair" condition. Well I pulled the trigger bought it on a Friday, on that next Monday it arrived. Pulled it out of the box (very well packaged) and looked it over very carefully. I looked perfect, especially for a 5 year old laptop. Not even a scratch on it. Charged it up and have been using it every single day for multiple hours a day. Needless to say for a laptop 5 years ago that was around $2500 and I got it for just over $600 in the condition it is in aesthetically to actual operation I could not be happier!

Back Market uses a bait-and-switch policy at checkout and other dark patterns resulting in a much higher price than the on you agreed to pay. The added costs might be legal, like local taxes, etc., but they don't give you the choice of opting out, and they don't tell you source of the added cost either before or even AFTER the purchase!
In this instance, it was for a refurbished Mac laptop.
The Bait: $836 advertised sticker price
The Switch: $919 final charged amount.
This resulted in a $83 ambush, consisting of $74.19 localized tax (legal but kept hidden) and an entirely hidden $8.81 Back Market platform fee, something that no one would know to look for or expect without an explicit warning. Is that even legal????
Policy reveals intention, and they clearly intend to use every trick to make the sale at the expense of ethics and good faith business. The aftertaste of this sale will stay in my memory for years.

Update: I just now got a reply from Back Market basically saying "we told you what the final price would be before you checked out" -- Right! And it was $83 more than the price they said it would be prior to checkout! That's a perfect example of bait and switch! Which may be legal but still manipulative and non-transparent. (Not showing the final price at all would be fraud.) My complaint is not that I shouldn't pay taxes and fees, but that they didn't list those items in the final cost. In fact they hid them even after purchase, and their reply made no attempt to claim otherwise.
In essence, their attitude seems to be "OK we tricked you, but at least we didn't commit fraud." Does that sound like a company you would trust with an expensive purchase?

I've always been a refurbished tech buyer, I usually bought factory direct. Back Market has become my go to for all my Apple purchases. Last time i used their trade in program... Perfect way to get the latest with a minimum of hassle! PLUS their prices set the mark

great! Everything went smoothly, they kept me updated on the whereabouts of my package. As far as the quality of the package goes, 10/10. Very happy with the quality of the watch, the battery was in 100% capacity, and the screen and body were flawless.

I think the service provided is good. The website is intuitive, and the options available are great. Shipment and packaging is also good.

This is my third time ordering from Back Market. Macbook, an iPad, and now a Samsung Galaxy s24. The experience has always been seamless and the products look and function as if they are brand new. A place the order for my phone and had it in hand 15 hours later. Unbelievable customer service!

We switched from Verizon to Mint Mobile a couple years back (which is just as good and now I pay a year what we used to pay in a month!!) the only downside is less options for replacements or upgrades.

That’s how I found Backmarket - was able to replace my son, daughter and husbands iPhone and trade in their beat up outdated phones for credit. Was hoping the “new” phones would be good for a couple years and hold up - well I am here to tell those who have any hesitation about buying refurbished items from these guys:

Yesterday my husbands new phone went swimming in the lake…overnight. We finally found it around noon today - STILL ON and fully functional. 🤯 I thought for sure it was a goner, especially being refurbished…wow! Y’all just gained a lifelong customer lol

Quick delivery of a bargain laptop computer. It looks unused, even though it was rated as 'fair' in condition. Battery and screen are flawless.

Save your money and buy refurbished! I have now purchased my 3rd phone and 2nd iPad and couldn't be happier. The products work as new, they carry a warranty (just in case) and you get money back on your trade-in. What is there to think about? Just do it!

I bought an iPhone Se 3 in good condition for well under $140 and it arrived looking very clean. Inside the box was a charging cable and the phone itself. The overall experience was great because I knew every step of the way where my phone was as tracking was made easy. The phone came with a single scratch near the back camera bump, the screen looked really great and the battery health has been really good since I bought the device. I will be buying again from back market in the near future given the great experience that I had. Overall I am very happy and satisfied with my purchase

I have had nothing but great results buying refurbished devices from Back Market. Latest was an Apple 11 watch. It looks and works like new with a significant savings. It came in the original packaging and arrived right on schedule. I've had my iPhone for 2-3 years and it also works just like new.

Amazing phone it's looks and perform brand new!!! My daughter loves it!!
