Great Products, Mediocre Customer Service

I've been a Bad Dragon customer for about two years now. Their toys are some of the highest quality I've ever seen in the adult products industry and as long as they keep their quality high, they will always have my business. Their personal lubricant is an item I swear by; it's hypoallergenic, not sticky, doesn't dry out, and you need very little to do your deed. The prices are phenomenal for the amount of customization there is, from the colours to the firmness, to even having the ability to bear a concave suction-cup and/or a lube-shooting "cumtube" (I tried this feature on one of my toys, it was not my cup of tea, but I'm sure others adore it.).

One of the only grievances I have with the company is their mediocre customer service, at least in my own experience. They seem excessively secretive and rigid about some of the ways they do business, in ways that can actually hamper the customer experience. When asked about why they do or do not do a certain thing (such as add suction cups to some toys but not others); the answers are always vague and carry a "just because" tone, requiring multiple replies to get anything actually informative out of them. They're very unwilling to take customer feedback on a lot of their items, and the replies people get are essentially automated "fill in the blanks for the name" responses. I'm sure they get a lot of unoriginal, if not downright stupid questions, but helpful answers that people can spread around will mitigate a lot of these. They also, by observation of separate customer accounts, have very rigid policies concerning defective merchandise, even on merchandise too defective for proper use.

This was my first time ordering a toy

This was my first time ordering a sex toy and I've actually had sex so it was really scary. So I ordered a small Spitfire on clearance with the custom lubes they reccomend. Took it slowly and quicker then I thought I was in love. I dont know what I'll do when a man come into my life, he might not compare. I recently ordered a new one named Clayton, he has a lot of ridges and girth. Looking forward to trying him out. Five Stars.

Ripped before opened

I recently ordered a Zoie penetrable hours before they closed made to order orders. When it arrived I noticed there was a sizeable tear at the top of the opening. I contacted customer support and since it was a penetrable toy there was no warranty for what mistake they made, they gave me an option to return it for store credit, but again they closed made to order orders i.e. penetrable toys.

Received used toy.

Received an unpackaged toy with crusty residue on tip. Tried to contact customer service over a month ago, heard nothing. Sent a follow up 2 weeks ago, they marked it solved without contacting me. Incredibly disgusted.

My order was placed "Ordered July 6th…

My order was placed "Ordered July 6th 2020, 2:57:48 pm" I ordered a cracker's sheath, at around 5 pm I opened a ticket to change the color. my ticket was solved by 5:30 pm. Today July 15 at 12:43 pm my order was shipped.
Considering I saw this message the second I placed my order "we will be temporarily closing Made-to-Order purchasing so that we can take care of current orders in a timely and safe manner."
I think they did a great job from customer service to processing and shipping.

People need to inform themselves that bad-dragon processing time takes about 5-6 weeks which is what I was expecting but it was not the case at all for me.

Consistent, Excellent Quality, Gorgeous Dildos

Consistently amazing products. I've spent over 1k on BD products and I have never been even slightly disappointed (other than when we run out of their fantastic lube). While they do have extensive wait times, and their products are on the expensive side, every purchase has been well worth the money and wait. Each piece is exquisite in detail, and their gorgeous colors never fade. I'm not sure where all of these bad reviews came from, but I have been recommending BD for 5 years now and will continue to do so.

Edited to add: I recently purchased an Orochi XL on June 30th and was quoted a 5-6 week wait time. I received a tracking number today (July 13th). This is the quickest turnaround time I have received (SO EXCITED), and given the current pandemic and their overwhelming custom response (they closed custom orders a day or two after I ordered to maintain the safest working environment for their staff - absolutely commendable), they were still able to get this out in two weeks.

There are better toys out there.

Well, to start things off, I am not mad, I am just disappointed.

I bought my first ever toy from them four months ago, a Hazel, extra soft, Amethyst Legacy. It arrived two months later and I was excited, I'll admit, but that excitement soon died....

After the second use, I kid you not, I was cleaning it with the toy cleaner and I noticed a couple rips in the material. I wasn't rough with it, or anything and used plenty of...well, to make things short, it's now an overpriced sculpture, just like they ship them as, a Silicone Sculpture.

Most amazing toy i’ve ever owned

It took almost 2 months for the toy to arrive, but their costumer service was really good! I bought the Tako

The toy is incredible and it delivers a very deep, warm and textured feeling inside and sticks nice to the floor, the silicone is of a very allergy friendly quality and the colors and colortransition is amazing! It was worth the waiting time

The ONLY thing I think BD should…

The ONLY thing I think BD should change;
Remove the next day shipping option for anything Custom made. (Obviously the “clearance” items and other products still need that option) However, I think that would help people understand better that you do have a longer waiting period. I chose next day shipping. Paid the extra $$$. Not thinking logically, being SO excited, that of course anything custom, handmade, would take time to make and ship. That was my own fault. I believe that we all are living in a “instant gratification” world. That was MY mentality at least.
I contacted BD customer service; stating that I chose the next day shipping option, and it had been close to 1.5-2months. That I would like to change my shipping option.
I received a email stating that; they “apologize for the long wait, and that I could choose a different shipping option.” So I chose regular shipping, and was refunded the difference $$$. They also added an extra bottle of Lube and extra syringe. Which; I thought was pretty cool.
I LOVE love LOVE my Orochi.
I will definitely order from BD again. Just change your mindset. Purchase the least expensive shipping. Expect your product in 2 months, and forget about it. It will definitely brighten up your day when it does show up on your front step!

I've been ordering from them for years!

Yes, the wait times are...long. There's no denying that. But they warn about that on their ordering page. The wait times are so long because they're backlogged and they make every single toy by HAND. They also have rigorous inspection criteria, and if the toy comes out wrong, they make it again. If you don't want to wait, buy from their ready-made, or clearance, section.

That being said, every toy that I have ordered from them has had amazing quality to it. The ridges are well defined, the colors never fade, and the toys feel amazing. Each toy is unique, and they're all so much fun. They're worth the wait! Just be aware of the wait times if you're ordering for an occasion and plan ahead.

I have Moko (he's discontinued), Nox, and Chance right now with Nix and a sheath on the way for my husband. Moko is the one I've had the longest, and I looooove him. He's girthy with little nubs and bumps where a liger would have his barbs. I got him in soft because of his girth. The more I squeeze, the longer he gets! Nox is the same way. The bumps and ridges are amazing. He kind of locks in, and the biggest bump pleases the G-spot super, super well. I love the way the head is shaped, and the swoops around it "catch" just right when moving him out. So good. Chance feels great. I made a mistake and got a soft for him as well, not realizing that the lack of Moko-girth would make him kinda floppy in a soft. This is fine, though, as he still hits all the right spots and stretches when I squeeze. I have the unflared version, which still hits my cervix intensely.

My husband and I love Bad Dragon. We love the toys, the accessories, and the way the toys fit into the tales we tell each other. Overall, we will be back! We're hoping for more feline-based toys, and we're considering a Hazel or a Zoie for him next and a flared Chance for me. We'll see though!

I placed my order over a month ago…

I placed my order over a month ago everything in my order including the custom wearable is ready except my dildo. I understand that they are a popular company but they should not be like well we made one of your silicone products which are made via a premade mold is ready but the other one is not ready. Like if I waited my turn and spent $280.84 like make my order all at once so it can be shipped and then you can move onto the next instead of delaying my order.Not to mention it takes customer service sometimes a week or more to even recive a vauge response back. Bad dragon makes hella good money so they can stay a handmade custom place but they should have known to expand more being such a popular company known for the quality and amazing designs. I will update a review once I finally recieve my order whenever that happens....

9 week wait

Ordered a Large Razor,in natural red (No extras like suction cup, custom color or c-tube) with overnight shipping (total cost 166.98$) on Jan 11th 2020 it's only just now been shipped (Mar 14th) 9 weeks later.
their website claims 4-5 weeks for making the toy so I messaged their customer service at 5, 6 and 7 weeks and never got anything but a generic "were sorry lots of order blah blah blah" No offers for Compensation for the shipping or even 5% off coupon. This is Comcast levels of bad customer service, and coming from a company that markets high end products this should make them feel embarrassed. At this point I don't care if the toy is an instant orgasm machine, the wait, and high cost simply isn't worth it.

i have the same issue with bad dragon I ordered my toy jan 19th and they say 4 to 5 weeks well that was a lie then I asked where my toy was and get that message its waiting your turn and still no str8 up answer to when it will be here this is my last toy I will be ordering from this company very bad service

I couldn't even place my order

I couldn't even place my order! I tried to place an order and the website said"street and/or zip code mismatch". I rechecked everything, it was all correct. I tried contacting customer service for help, no response until I sent a second message. The reply I got was canned. They sent a second auto message shortly after that saying my ticket had been marked as resolved. I sent another message saying I still couldn't place my order and needed help. They sent another canned response saying the issue has been marked as resolved. I gave up. I won't even try to order from them again and will be telling everyone to avoid them. Some of the worst customer service I've ever seen.

3 months. No toy.

Been nearly 3 months since I ordered. They mailed me 2 weeks ago asking if a defect in the toy was okay- I said it was fine. So the toy is technically done. Still not shipped yet. Weeks later. Not a peep. Not sure what’s taking them so long but it’s insane and the wait time listed on their website is just a lie.

I’d recommend taking your money elsewhere. Many more competent and good toy makers who can fill this niche and don’t have completely awful customer service and 3-4 month wait times.

on January 4th and I've heard nothing about my order. if you want to order from bad dragon. you are in for a long wait I expect my toy to be dipped in 14 carat gold. for the wait.

8 weeks and still no order.

Placed my order January 9th, and its been 8 weeks with the only communication is me asking where my order is. And receiving a copy / pasted response that My order is "waiting its turn".
Quoting us 4-5 weeks, and taking 8 weeks. and by the reviews posted here 4 months. is absolutely unacceptable.
I will NOT order from this company again.

The ONLY solution to this problem is telling the customer base a REALISTIC time frame. Being upfront and honest about your order backup. Telling us it will take 8... 9..10.. 12 weeks.
Telling us 4 weeks and shipping at 12 weeks is insanity. You will not recover as a business if you keep this up BadDragon.

Worst company I have ever seen.

I have ordered my toy around 2 months ago and I still have yet to receive a single update.

I have contacted customer support and I keep getting the same response every single time. "We're in high demand, we're trying our best to make your toy as quickly as possible."

"Well can I get an update on where it's at in line? Or something like that."

"I'm sorry but there's no way we can just track your order."

Just saying you are busy is not an excuse for service being this ignorant and slow. I have never, EVER, seen such poor communication between the customer and the product/support team. Find a way to track someone's toy that they purchased, not for a cheap price may I add. If you're seriously having so much trouble that you can't keep up with orders. You know what you do? You hire more employees. If you can't afford to hire more employees, hire seasonal employees. It's not that difficult, this is basic business management.

Also change the estimated delivery date. It is just a flat out lie, there's no beating around the bush. Most customers do not receive their product until 4 months after they made the purchase. It is simply not true that someone will get their toy within 4-6 weeks.

I guess I did not know what to expect, but I expected a lot more from a website that makes one toy for 95$. The price and the service does not match. I am not entirely sure of the quality of the product, because I am still waiting for it 2 months after purchase.

To summarize this company is completely mismanaged and you should not buy from them. Not because their products are terrible but because the service is the worst that I have seen.
