I wish I would have found this site…

I wish I would have found this site prior to placing my order two months ago. Their “customer service” is terrible. Do not believe their estimated wait time for toy to be manufactured. Lightening fast to take your money. I have messaged them repeatedly to check the status of my order only to be lied to each time. If you like throwing away your money for a toy that I am still unsure if you would receive, go with BD. Otherwise, my advice is to steer clear!

I was treated horribly by their staff

I read about their Freaky Fast shipping before I ordered. It mentioned nothing about exclusion dates in the disclaimer about the freaky fast shipping. I ordered a product early November and now I'll be lucky if it even ships by late January. It's to my understanding that they don't do anything at all during the exclusion dates and when I asked questions, they dodged the questions and basically told me to deal with it. They then shut my ticket so that I couldn't fight them about answering my questions. They treated me like garbage and tried to sugar-coat their responses so that it sounded like they were being sincere, even though they were dodging my questions. Don't. Order. Bad. Dragon. Unless you want to wait for months on end for them to even ship your order. They have the most ridiculous exclusion periods, taking almost an entire week of for Veteran's Day, and taking off 4 weeks for Thanksgiving/Black Friday/Cyber Monday. On top of that, I don't even know how long they'll take off for Christmas. If I could give a worse star rating, I would.

I got scammed!!!

I purchased a $150+ toy from them and selected to have custom colours: a black and orange marbled pattern.
They contacted me (after 2 whole months of waiting without a word from them) to let me know that the colouring process hadn't gone to plan and the toy had come out in an ugly greenish-brown and black colour. They gave me a choice of A) Have the toy re-manufactured. B) Send the defectively coloured toy.

1 week later, the toy I received was the same ugly green and black. Why did they not tell me that the re-manufacturing process failed AGAIN!? When I contacted customer support again and asked, they told me that the toy I received had (somehow) passed their ""strict"" quality testing (despite clearly being the same unacceptable colours that I advised them to not send), that I should be advised that the colours requested cannot be guaranteed and that no refunds or returns would be accepted for health and safety reasons.

They shouldn't advertise colour marbling if they can't actually deliver. I was given the impression that the first faulty product was the result of misfortune. But they went 0/2 and sent a faulty product over anyway!

Additionally, customer support staff made me feel rushed out the door. Messages I received in response from them gave me the impression they had read the first line and then skipped the rest. For example, I requested for my shipping method to be upgraded and specified word-for-word which option I would like selected. Their response was "We can certainly upgrade your shipping method. Here are the options we can offer you. Please let us know which one you would like."

I feel totally scammed and I am beyond disappointed.

Useless toy.

It took twice the time i was told before shipment.
Worse than that. I literally can not use the toy.
It takes me over 5 minutes to even get inside it cause it is so tight and i think there might be something wrong with the material they use?
It is incredibly hard, to the point i have even hurt myself while trying to get inside of it. I almost can't even fit a finger in there.
For reference i'm 65kg. So it's not that i've got "fat fingers" lol.
It's just simply ridiculous, i'll end up tossing it in the garbage i suppose.

WHAT A JOKE

UPDATE: I finally wrote customer service last week about my custom. The reply was that it passed quality inspection but no shipping estimation. It had to have passed before or during the holidays because they were closed some of those days. So now I’m just waiting for it to ship and....It Still. Hasn’t. Shipped. I’ve also read some people are still waiting for cyber Monday orders to ship. What is going on with this company. Such a joke. Pre-mades should take a week at the most and customs should get priority shipping for the waits or they need to start offering free shipping for customs. Anyone making a purchase is pretty much giving them tiny interest free loan. This company is a joke.

Spend your money on a better business like squarepeg or Hankey’s. Or support a small shop owner on Etsy. This is crap.

Gosh, where do I even begin?

First experience was a ready made sheath last Black Friday from the “clearance” section. It is great quality and has gotten good use. I wish this was enough to give them more than one star but I’ve found the same quality in fantasy toys can be found in other places (Etsy, squarepeg, or hankeys) so this doesn’t give them the leg-up. The only thing that would get them more stars from me is their customization possibilities. HOWEVER, they can’t seem to manage or handle those at all, and after my experiences, it seems as if they don’t care if they do.

My second experience with BD, I ordered a custom, they quickly took my payment, then I waited almost two months before I decided to cancel the order. Then I kept watching the “clearance” items in case I found something I could get without waiting. Two weeks after I canceled my order, my EXACT custom was in the clearance section. I tried to snag it, but someone else did before I could. It’s almost as if customs are just a way they can see what their demand is in order to fill their cash-grab clearance items (which shouldn’t be called clearance as they’re full priced items, IMO this is false advertising and they should be called “ready-mades” and flops should be the only thing in clearance).

Third experience was a ready made from the “clearance” section. It was a full priced item (I checked the custom cost with the same specs and it was identical). I received it in a week and it came with a damaged chunk out of it. Thankfully they refunded me a discount rate since this should have been marked as a flop, but I would’ve rather purchased a new un-damaged toy. They claim it wasn’t in the photograph they took for their site before shipping, but I don’t see how a toy can be damaged once in sealed bag, wrapped, and packaged.

I decided to give them one last chance and bit the bullet so I can get the one toy I actually want. I ordered a custom that has been in queue since mid October (6 weeks now), and there has been no change in the status, but they’ve been advertising how they’re going to have huge “clearance” drops for their Black Friday weekend sale. I’m not going to cancel this time since I’ve waited for two orders now, but super unhappy with their false wait times and lack of communication. It seems this company is only in it for cash grabs and making a quick dollar from their customers—based on all the reviews here and the option to forward them to BD, they obviously have no interests in customer service, fulfilling custom orders, or listening to their customer feedback. Once I receive this order (if I ever do), I don’t plan to purchase anything else from them. It’s sad too, because they were once the leader in fantasy toys. Now they’re just a hot mess.

It's not a "company", it's a joke...

They lie to you in the checkout about completing your order within 4-5 weeks yet it takes them about 2 months. They don't give any updates about the status of your order. Customer service replies with an automated messages and basically won't bother to do more than that. And forget about any help with estaminating the costs of custom fees in case if you're shipping internationally. Maby their toys look great but they're definitely not worth the hassle. It was the worst purchase I've ever made.

It had almost been 2 months and still…

It had almost been 2 months and still nothing from bad dragon about the status of my product. Poor customer service everytime I emailed about the status and they added time because of it. Not a good company. Use others.

Run away now!

Horrible waiting times and worse customer service. Going on 8 weeks and still waiting on order. Oh, but they managed to take my money promptly. Where is the motivation to fulfill orders when they've already been paid?

Bad Dragon is just that - bad.

Before I begin, I would like to preface this by saying I only ordered one toy with absolutely no customization (small, soft, no custom color, suction cup, or tubing). It was purchased at its base price of 75 USD (prior to shipping).
One of the first issues I encountered with Bad Dragon Enterprises was the insane wait time. I’m not talking about the 4-5 weeks they have listed on their site. Unfortunately, I’m referring to the fact that my own product took nearly two months to even be made & then shipped. Based on the delivery times, it arrives exactly two months from the order date. I wouldn’t even be bothered by this issue if the listed wait time was more accurate. After reading reviews, it seems a lot of other people have this same issue. Some people have claimed they’ve waited more than two or three months for their order. Because of this, listing 4-5 weeks (instead of a closer average) feels like a cheap way to avoid the 30-Day Rule put in place by the TFC. 
The next set of issues I ran into were with their support and PR teams. After the sixth week had rolled around (now seeing how long their wait times really are, it seems a bit silly), I sent an email asking about the status of the order. Their webpage had said processing for the entire time with no changes or details, so I was hoping for some sort of update, even if it was that they were getting to it soon. Instead, it seemed to be an automated message saying they had a lot of work and restating the wait time was 4-5 weeks. That was really disappointing, so I didn’t bother again. They would have received another email from me if they hadn’t had shipped my order only a few days prior to the two-month mark (when I planned to email). Once I realised the toy was being shipped, I expressed both relief and frustration in a chat with a friend. The friend didn’t seem to understand that it was within UPS’s hands at this point, so they asked me if it was actually going to ship. I didn’t understand why it wouldn’t, and they told me that Bad Dragon was having a company-wide observance for veterans from the 7th-12th of the month. My toy barely made it the day before, but the more frustrating thing about this is that I wouldn’t have had any idea if it weren’t for my friend. My friend only knew about this because they followed Bad Dragon’s twitter. After going through the promotional emails from Bad Dragon, I saw that they sent an email the 8th stating that they would send out camo stickers with orders shipped from the 8th-12th. At the very bottom of this email, they state that their shipping changes have already happened (at this point) and will be in effect from the 7th until the 12th. This system makes it very difficult to get updates. I believe an email should have been made specifically for the changes & sent out prior to the shipping changes, preferably near the same time the tweet was made. Many of us do not care about small product changes & do not check promotional emails. Many of us do not want to expose ourselves on personal accounts as someone who uses Bad Dragon toys, and I don’t think anyone should have to make an alternate account to follow social media for updates. Bad Dragon Enterprises is not an influencer; they are a company, and they should act like it.
Finally, I feel like Bad Dragon knows they have quite the lockdown on “novelty” sex toys, making them pretty much the exclusive company where you can get a good-quality toy that doesn’t look human or has “sci-fi” themes to them. This means we wait and pay what we do to get subpar customer service. I understand how you are not purchasing niceness, but they don’t seem to have much concern, if any, for their customers. To be honest, I find it a bit ironic because it does deter people from buying again.
I won’t lie; the toy is good quality. Despite this, I really don’t think that it’s worth this much hassle. People don’t enjoy feeling like they’ve been lied to and had their time & (possibly even) money wasted. Bad Dragon Enterprises need to step up their PR team, support communications team, and not lie about the real wait times for their customers.

Brought a toy from them 8 weeks ago

Brought a toy from them 8 weeks ago. Messaged 4 weeks after ordering to find out what's going on and get the oh we will get to it soon. 0 communication from the start. It's not hard to send a message to everyone and go hey we are experiencing delays, please expect it to be shipped in say 4 weeks time or something like that. Won't be going back if it takes months to get something. Getting my money back

Amazing

My first order was jt, and it took only 1 week and a half to get to my door. Then i order it again for my bf and it took 3 months. I don't know why it jumped from a week to three months for the second but at least we got it. Then i order orochi the first day it came out as a ready made and it got here in 2 days. There toys are amazing, just the wait times are really random.

amazing toys, abysmal service

oh boy, another rant review. i ordered a lot of toys, so granted the wait would take a little longer of course. do not trust the 4-5 week wait time, a much more realistic wait time is about 12 WEEKS. with that out of the way, i ordered some toys and a specific shirt from them, in medium. when my order finally arrived after roughly three months wait time i was ecstatic, i was seriously hyped up only to be disappointed by the lack of said shirt, but it definitely was on the receipt. i contacted support, and asked if they could send me the shirt ASAP. support responded with "permanently out of stock" and a very quick 20$ refund. they weren't planning on delivering me anything to compensate. i demanded another shirt, seeing as getting a new one in europe would mean paying a crapload more than just the price of the shirt, so they're sending me a shirt i didn't originally want, but at least they made me choose and still cough up a few euros anyways. the catch? the shirt that's apparently out of stock is still on sale on their site! bad dragon apparently can't keep inventory and keep their site updated, i think they may have a serious shortage in administrative and realising staff, yet that's still no excuse for the kind of crap customers have to go through. my suggestion for improvement? please, please BD, just be more transparent about the wait times and be more compensating if you make an inventory error. i did use the toy i ordered, and that earns it an extra star completely disregarding my shirt experience. it was heavenly.

Terrible terrible terrible service

Terrible terrible terrible service. Constant run around. I ordered a product 8 weeks ago and it still hasn’t shipped. Every time I contact them I get a generic answer of “we’re working on it.” Don’t waste your money with this company. They THE WORST.

Very Satisfied - Are Some Folks Trolling?

After ordering my product on 08/02/19, and waiting 4 of the 5 weeks they said it would take to ship a custom, I decided to look up reviews. I found this site and immediately was very very worried due to the claims of "12 weeks and still no toy!" "2 months and no toy - no communication!" - these claims would scare off any new buyer of Bad Dragon products, so I decided to try to contact BD.

They responded within 24-48 hrs to my ticket, let me know the toy had just passed QC, and would ship in about a week or so. After one more week (5 wks now), I opened another ticket, got another response from a real person that they were behind on shipping, relocating their facility, and it would ship soon. It shipped exactly on the 6 week mark, arrived as stated, and is the best product I ever bought.

I am not saying some folks are not extremely disappointed in wait times, but I do NOT believe the claims quoted above. They didn't make sense when I first read them, and they don't make sense after my experience during approximately the same time frame. I think these angry customers are trolling Bad Dragon - just my opinion.

I will be purchasing more products in the future.

If I could rate this company zero stars…

If I could rate this company zero stars I would. They proceeded to ignore my requests for updates on my items and I am now requesting a refund. It’s been two months and still no items. Do not listen to their B.S. 4-5 week prep time. It is false and this company should shut down. Sorely disappointed and really hope I didn’t just lose $200 to these scam artists.

Great company!

Great company. The products themselves are top notch. Well worth the wait. Bad Dragons focus on quality is above and beyond. The only issue I see is they need to work on preproduction communication (removed one star for that). Maybe some way the customer can track status of production from the website, webcams of (non-proprietary) production stations... Otherwise, Bad Dragon, keep up the great work!

Disappointed with Bad Dragon... it showed promise

I was so excited when I found Bad Dragon, one I love dragons! Two, I am a sex edu and sexuality teacher who intended on using this business as a go too for my more theatrical clients who have vivid imaginations in the bedroom.

For display at parties and kink workshops, I ordered a mini vibe and c*m lube. I went through the tedious step by step process of choosing a pattern which I did not receive and color. I made the purchase and was aware that it would take a few weeks due to "specific molding" per order.

Once I received the toy I was immediately upset. Why? I will try the toy to answer questions for clients and workshop participants. Damn when they say mini they meant it. This thing is no bigger than your thumb. I was not told what size batteries it needed so I had to go purchase those (not unlike other toy sites that will tell you what size batteries and will also provide them for sale on-site making it easy for you to navigate.) With it for$10 extra I purchased a bullet vibe cause it won't work without it (hey wasn't this advertised as a mini VIBE? Why isn't the bullet feature apart of the cost?)

Anyway, once on this thing was laughable at how small it is and how week the vibrations are. SMH. Not to mention it was almost not even usable. It was uncomfortable, frustrating and weak at best!

The total cost for this disappointment was $75!!! $75 for something I will never use again or include in my reviews or suggestions to clients. I guess you live and learn. I do not know how their regular small, medium, large dildos are or any other product but THIS one was a bust, not to mention the wait time is aggravating.

However, if I were to receive a quality product it could have been worth the wait. I'll never know. I am disappointed, after using their site, it seemed like a winner, like a company that had set themselves apart from the competition with a revolutionary concept.
