Bought 2025 Cadiz from Grantham's leisure. Constant hab door problem (door flew open on way home from collection) and had to fight tooth and nail to get partial solution. Awning channel blocked and internal lighting is problematic. This is not an isolated problem! Would I buy another Bailey or use Grantham leisure again? Answer is NO!

Absolutely shocking company....ordered an Endurance E65 at the NEC show last October !! Yes, LAST OCTOBER and we're still waiting for delivery!!
Was supposed to take delivery at the beginning of June, the van was even at the dealer. Only to be told that it needs to go back to Baileys because it needs an IVA test. How could it even get out of the factory without this in place ??
It then sat at the dealers for 2 months before Bailey finally picked it up and took it back to their HQ. It then sat there for a further 3 weeks before going down to Southampton for its IVA test, which it subsequently failed. Was told this was because mine was the first manual to be ordered then subsequently found out that there have been 4, with one already on the road for 2 months. I have been fed a series of lies and excuses all the way through. Getting any info out of them is like getting blood out of a stone. A great deal is made by Bailey on their website about how they are a Ford Pro converter...In my experience they are anything but.
A completely useless, amateurish and unprofessional company. If I could give them less than 1 star I would.
My advice is to buy your van/motorhome from another manufacturer...I wouldn't touch another Bailey product with a bargepole!! I hope someone from Baileys reads this and replies...I would love to talk to someone, not just the waste of time aftercare email address.
UPDATE...Because I posted this on their facebook page a few times they have now blocked me....what a petty company they are

I wouldnt recommend buying anything from this company they make promises that you get everything you order with your vehicle . I had a reply from them on a U shaped lounge with my Endurance e62 now I've been told we wont be getting it and was told try breakers yards to source whats missing after spending 73k on a campervan

I like many aspects of our new Unicorn deluxe caravan including the extra width, general layout and the ease of the operating systems particularly having moved from a Swift Elegance.
However I have found calling it deluxe model to be a complete farce.
It had to go back 1 hour after purchase as the door to the bathroom wouldn't shut, we have had to glue various bits of facia together , push in all screw concealers and remove polystyrene spray foam from the main side windows and walls.
Plus when you prepare the single beds wiring is on show behind the head space and there is no headboard.
It just feels that there was no care in it's construction.
I would expect better from a £32000 investment.

We have picked up our brand new Bailey Pegasus Bologna black edition in May 2026. Not sure where to start with all the issues so I’ll start from our first journey!
On the journey from the dealership to the holiday break destination the whole light harness from the left side front light came off and dragged on the motorway. We had to mend it ourselves. Good job my husband is an electrician. It turned out that the harness was secured by sticky pads.
On arrival at our weekend break destination we have realised that one of the cushions is damaged. We have asked for guarantee claim to be raised and our lovely Dealership Bailey rep has done it.
Few weeks later another trip and this time the whole edging on the side of the caravan pinged off- since been mended under guarantee.
Inside the shelf between the front door and the fridge badly bubbled, a strip of pvc between bathroom and bedroom is hanging and the latest discovery of faulty kitchen window that will damage the seal on the long run really got under my skin.
All above had the guarantee claims raised yet again by our lovely rep.
I don’t want to mention tv bracket in the sitting room that has been mounted so high that you will be lucky to fit 20 inch tv definitely not advertised in Bailey commercial 32 inch.
Latest issue is the slats from the pull out bed are not folding correctly.
I have been told that upholstery company went under the administration so not sure what I’m going to do with the damaged
sofa cushion.
We have bought a brand new caravan to enjoy hassle free holidays. Instead we have the headache of all the above. I’m frustrated, annoyed that I’ve spent a lot of money with them and disheartened.
We should have kept our 15 years old Swift rather than go through the frustration.
Update 30/08
So Bailey of Bristol asked me to reach out directly.
Absolutely 0 response from them or any updates of sub standard work they have carried out.
SHOCKING

I rang customer service after a fruitless email exchange with (I won't name him) which ended with telling he had no information on when a motorhome listed on their website will be available to buy. I was ready to get assertive! I spoke Emily who was the consummate professional throughout. She undertook to find the information. She rang me back within 10 minutes. It was bad news which was delivered very professionally. Whoever recruited her is also to be congratulated

Bought a brand new Bailey unicorn deluxe Madrid on April 4 th from Bardsea Leisure in Ulverston and first time we used it the back of the dinette seat came away from the base making it unusable for sitting on it or using as a bed. There was visible condensation on the inside of the front left window; double bed slats did not go back easily , and a base locker box button would not stay locked. We contacted dealer who fixed the bed slats and locker box promptly and had to order a new side panel but could not fit it until end of July and has not done anything about the condensation.
Since then we used it last week and now found out that the front door opens even though it is locked which is a obviously a huge security concern; when it rains the front door leaks to inside the caravan; the slide out kitchen cupboard has broken; the windows don’t stay open unless really wide; the front main window handle has broken; the wardrobe door is so tight it has to be pulled so hard you think it will come off and the wooden bar retaining bunk ladder has come off.
We are extremely upset as we had previously had a 2015 Pegasus Genoa which was good so bought another Bailey but it is nowhere near as well made and does not feel it will last 2 years never mind 10+.
This is supposed to be the top of the range ‘deluxe’ and caravan and was a lot of money but it feels like it is all show and extremely poor build quality.

Our 70k Alora motorhome, so far has taken 8 months to get the roof repaired. Despite re arranging their back to factory repairs so that specialist dealers carry out work. I emailed AGAIN a week ago to their aftersales team, nothing back, 2 emails to dealer, still nothing. I am awaiting a complete new roof so I can at least part exchange this vehicle. With all the other well known issues, I cannot believe this company are still churning out the same rubbish.
Update just received an email from aftercare, but no further forward, no date when it will be fixed.

Never ever buy a Bailey. Built out of toilet rolls and wall paper paste. Everything either breaks when you touch it or it falls off. Our brand new Pursuit 550 is rubbish. It leaks like a sieve round rubbish Thetford doors. As soon as you use the cooker the cheap plastic covering on the cupboard doors above, blisters. Cutlery draw handle came off. Trim on shelf fell out, no sign of glue any where. It was held on by friction. Screws not tight almost every where. Toilet leaked. Breaks squealed every time you slow down. Condensation on inside of front window. Outside panel seals cracked. Inner privacy door falls off every time you travel. Getting it all fixed under warranty was a nightmare. Even the dealer got frustrated. The wooden floor is so soft you can stick your thumb nail in it. It's 5 years old and literally falling to bits. Spare part prices are a criminal rip off. Never ever again will I buy a caravan from this utterly useless company. I'm ashamed to sell it.

Where to start really. Picked up the caravan in November from a dealer some distance from my home so I didn't take it back but dealt with the issues I can myself. Front near side padded panel by the media wall fell off, headboard fell off, when I went to pull the plug out of the socket on the splash back the panel came with it as about 25% of the screws were missing. Cupboard doors poorly aligned throughout. Leak under the bathroom sink where the pipe connections were loose, luckily I noticed before any damage was done, stitching on bedroom curtains so far out they wouldn't hang straight. Large dollop of silicone in the awning rail making it impossible to thread through and a loud banging from the bodywork as it warms in the morning which I have been unable to identify. I am dreading the first hab check might throw up.

We bought a used Pursuit last year, have found the Bailey manual quite terrible, it includes 2 other models as well as the Pursuit, very poorly laid out, you would think given the price of a caravan they could produce a manual per model rather than cheap skating to have one manual cover three caravan, also find the layout and "How to use" virtually impossible to follow.,

I purchased my Bailey Pheonix 642 in Dec 24. The van was brand new. To qualify my assessment I have all of my professional career as a degree qualified mechanical engineer working in automotive supply chain in design and manufacture. I understand that there are many parts to assemble and there are manufacturing tolerances. That said, I can honestly say the quality of build is poor to very poor. Prior to collecting my new van we noticed a screw missing in the side boards by the front seats. The dealer fixed this for us. On delivery, we then noticed the front inner window trim was falling away and not fixed properly along with the head board with the same issue. We also found the outer awning rail fouled the awning runner. The dealer addressed these issues. At my first service damp was found. The dealer fixed this as they stated the water pipe was not fitted correctly. The bed struts on both sides had to be replaced. The rear decal also was lifting off in approx 1 year from purchase. After the van was returned from the dealer our first annual trip out it highlighted a water pump issue, where the pump would not turn off. Plus the hot water heater shut down and would not heat the water any more. The final proof of quality was the panel over the front of the microwave was falling off. On investigation, this was due to the fact that when it was assembled the operative on the assembly line must have decided it was difficult to locate at the top and so just put 2 screws at the bottom of the panel. Resulting in the whole panel swinging back and forth when towing. Not a great demonstration of quality control.
In all my years in manufacturing I have never seen such shoddy practices.

Just purchased a 7 month old Unicorn Deluxe Seville and had no issues transferring the warranty. Looking forward to our first trip away.

DO NOT BUY, we paid £40000 pound for a brand new caravan and it arrived with decal damaged, the heating doesn’t work and the bedroom lights don’t work. We should have picked our caravan up from Farnham caravans on the 21/3/26 and it is now 6 weeks later and still has missing decal, no heating and no bedroom lights. Bailey has a serious problem getting parts that can take weeks or months to arrive. In my opinion it should never have passed quality control and left the factory like this. Once your caravan has left the factory Bailey want nothing to do with it and the dealer you brought it from must get it fix. That would not be so bad if they could get the parts needed and did not have to wait weeks or months for parts.

Customer service at Bailey were without fault, they understood our dilemma with a third party caravan supplier, and were prepared to use their knowledge and expertise to amend the problem caused by the third party.
