Late cake

I ordered a Carrot cake for my friend’s birthday on the 18th for a birthday on the 23rd. It was supposed to arrive on the 21st, she received it today, four days late. That is unacceptable. I was made aware of the delay. I gave 2 stars because she got the cake. I live in Virginia, she lives in Connecticut.

cake didnt arrive …

ordered a birthday cake for my moms 60th birthday , ordered said cake 2.5 weeks in advance ! Day of delivery unable to track , call the bakery and they state the cake didn’t get picked up and sorry it won’t be delivered ! I ask if anyone planned to call me so i could have made other arrangements as Noon the day of left me no options . They said they were working on making the call. thank you bake me a wish for ruining a birthday present from out of state kids and grandkids !!!

Gluten free ginormous mistake

Just ordered one each gluten free vanilla and one chocolate. The chocolate tasted like a 6 week old brownie someone left uncovered
The vanilla was not any better. Both very small . 6" at best. The icing was over sugary to compensate for the dry of the cake. Don't do it.

Better late than never

Update: The company was very kind to issue a refund for late delivery. The response was quick to resolving any issues.
I ordered a birthday cake to be delivered the day before the birthday (as recommended on the website) and received a delivery confirmation on that day. However, when I called the recipient, it hadn’t actually arrived. It did get to them the following day in the late afternoon but arrived in a dented box, a bit distorted from the shipping. They said they enjoyed the cake despite its appearance.

Does their cupcakes have gold in them!

I have been extremely disappointed with a Wish from beginning to end.
I went to Rakaton for some new ideas.
My first mistake.
Their website is deceitful. It took me extra time, which I don’t have, to navigate.
I ordered 4 cupcakes at $52.00.
Okay a bit pricey. I ordered the four cupcakes never thinking it was going to be a ridiculous shipping cost.
I was having difficulty especially when it came to shipping.
I spent almost $20.00 for shipping, four cupcakes.
I was applaud, it didn’t let me cancel.
This company should be banned from customers.
I was humiliated, and angry as I was not used to doing business with a lack of respect, confusion and a horrific attitude.
I finally found pages for only 1 star reviews.
I have always used Send a Cake!
This was 180 from that excellent company. Instead of this awful company, try Send a Cake. I use them all the time.
They are reasonable, not too pricey.
Contemplating writing to the BBB.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience, don't waste your time and money here. Ordered a cheesecake for our daughter's birthday, her first birthday away at college, to be delivered the day before her birthday as recommended. Unfortunately, due to weather, the school cancelled classes and closed the campus, so no deliveries could be made. When we called BMAW during operating hours, we could get no-one to answer the phone. We tried to go though UPS to get the delivery address changed, and they said it had to go through the company. UGH.... The following day they offered to update the delivery address for an additional fee and that wasn't going to guarantee a further delay in delivery?!?! Hell no. As a alternative plan, it was supposed to get sent to an authorized UPS pick up location instead (20 miles away) and it still did NOT get delivered there either!! Beyond pissed. Called them yet again and they said "we'll call our UPS representative". So her birthday is today, no cake, and no family to celebrate with her. I'll never use this place again.....

ALSO!!! I made a comment on their FB page (not even an ugly one) and they DELETED IT!!!!

Horrible experience and customer…

Horrible experience and customer service. I noticed the address was wrong in route, despite having confirmed the correct one. When I contacted them, they said it had already been corrected and rerouted and would be one day late. I called UPS and they confirmed the same thing. When it wasn't delivered the following day, they said UPS marked it undeliverable and they couldn't offer me a refund, but 25% off another cake. I confirmed with both the company and the shipper that everything was sorted out, yet now we have no cake and are out $70? What sense does that make?
