First......

First....... It came on time. It was packaged very well and the frozen ice packet was still frozen and not all watered down. It's a little smaller than i expected it to be, and I have not tasted it yet. The 5 stars is because this is my first time receiving a shipped item that was packed so well.

I ordered this cake to send to my son…

I ordered this cake to send to my son for his 50th birthday. He received the cake and he showed me through a video call and it looked exactly as pictured. I would recommend ordering. It was a nice surprise for my son.

Very poor customer support.

The shipping address defaulted in their system to my billing address, and the order was returned . After a week I was finally able to to reach a representative by phone and was only offered 25% off if I chose to repurchase.

Easter items did not arrive

Easter items did not arrive. UPS tells me it would come 19th. It was 40 miles away. Tracked today, and now 22nd and 80 miles away. I called customer service on 18th (friday) never got a call back. 30 plus dollars shipping. UPS another guy tells me it is going back. Now i don't want it after Easter. I want my money back. All money.

Late birthday cake

Ordered this cheesecake three weeks ahead of my daughter’s birthday. They GUARANTEE on time delivery. And no. It will actually NOT be delivered to her on her birthday. It’s late. And it’s a cheesecake which will not have been in a refrigerator. This is my college age daughter’s first birthday that I have not been with her and I splurged on a really expensive cake to have to her on her day. Nope. Some guarantee. All they offered was a refund or a reshipment (so it can be even more past her birthday) even though it is sitting at the UPS warehouse in her city. Not let me see what I can do, have someone go get it, anything. Will never use them again.

I ordered a cake for an 80…

I ordered a cake for an eightieth birthday party. When I put the billing address in it auto changed the address (city, state) for the delivery which I didn't know until the cake never arrived. I emailed the company on the day it didn't arrive and got no response except that they received my email. It was after hours and I couldn't call anybody and I had to wait until Monday morning. I called first thing in the morning, and I had to leave a message. I didn't receive a reply so I called back and basically, they won't do anything about it. And they won't honor any type of discount for another cake. It's really too bad, because the cakes are good. But, the customer service aspect is quite poor. They asked for a phone number when I ordered so that the delivery people can call if there's a problem with the delivery. But apparently, that is just for certain delivery companies according to the customer service department. I understand that it was partially my fault for not rechecking the address that I put in correctly, but then their website autocorrected and changed the city and state. They've lost a customer, unfortunately, because their cakes are worth the money.

ADDENDUM: After contacting the head of the company I was graciously given a full refund. Thank you!

Failed.

Easy to order, but don't expect your order to actually be delivered on the due date. Ordered a birthday cake and was finally told mid day that the cake would not make it. Terrible.

Ordered BD cake one week in advance

Ordered a BD cake one week in advance. Waited for the cake..and nothing. After 5 emails finally received an answer:
Dear Friend,

   Hello. We are writing today to sadly notify you that there was a shipping issue. Our shipping partner UPS neglected pick up the prepared shipments from our bakery for gifts set to be delivered today April 14th. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. The gifts will be picked up today April 14th and will be delivered on April 15th.

Who needs a BD cake NEXT DAY!!! Successfully ruined such important day. Never again!!!

Melted products

The website was great. Easy to use, pay and complete the order. You figure for a business that sells baked goods and delivers them nation wide, they would do something to keep your order from melting in all the hot trucks. Wife received her gift in a melted lump. Everything stuck together and to the packaging.

Cheesecake was tasty

the order process was easy; cheesecake was very tasty. However, the cheesecake was a day late so the recipient did not receive it on their birthday. And, since it was a day late and arrived on Saturday instead of Friday, and my son lives in an apartment, he couldn't get the cheesecake until Monday. It sort of ruined the whole point of sending it on his birthday.
