They stand by their products. I got the watch band that I ordered but the color hue was different from the one online. They replaced it with a different band no questions asked. The replacement band had the stainless steel buckle which was didn’t match the case of my watch. This was totally my fault. They went ahead and sent me an extra buckle. I would definitely buy from them again.

I have a carbon and titanium watch with white hands and lume with 21mm lug width… damn hard to find 21mm straps of decent quality! Then Barton comes along and does a two tone black/white rubber strap that’s so soft, it’s awesome. My only feedback would be that the strap could be deeper/thicker at the lug area.

£57 worth of watch straps arrived to me in UK. I understood that VAT of 20% would be applicable , but no duty payable as under £135 threshold. They obviously didn't declare a customs value, so the shipping agent declared £136 - so I paid a total of £40 in customs fees for £57 of watches. Whilst I appreciate that Barton watches are not liable for customs fees, please at least complete the correct export docs so that the customer only has to pay the correct fees! Would not use again.

Horrible customer service...actually no customer service even after two emails sent and two voice mails left! They confirmed on 9/18/24 that they took my payment- it's now nine days later and not a word. If Barton is out there reading these reviews my Order is #87613740. Please update or cancel. At this point I can go elsewhere.

Honestly, I had the exact opposite experience to what is mostly mentioned here. Strap came damaged (but otherwise of good quality), so I contacted support - answer came lighting fast, with prompt replacement sent my way (this was allowed to be exchanged with the agent for a refund instead, as the duties are pricy in my country - also resolved record fast). 5/5 stars

Absolutely total lack of customer service. I have written to them 6 times over the last 14 days with no reply, I've telephoned them from Australia and left voicemails twice. I've even tweeted them from X and they won't respond.
I've had problems with my last two orders. They left a milanese bracelet out from an order and it's been months trying to resolve that one. $49.99 lost. I recently ordered 5 straps in long length and three of them were regular. I have no recourse other than doing a charge back with my bank. They simply do not respond to ANY customer contact. It's not like I haven't tried all reasonable means to contact them.
Until they reassure us that they aren't going to suddenly shut up shop in the middle of the night I would be hesitant to spend any more money with them.
It's a shame because I liked their products, but this utter disdain for their customers is a deal breaker. I'm sorry Barton, it's you and not me.

Okay, it's not exactly rocket science to see that the company gets some bad reviews.
I've seen a bunch from a few years ago that appeared to mainly relate to slow fulfilment and shipping and poor customer service.
I'm seeing similar reasons for bad reviews here unfortunately, just nowhere near as many as I was seeing.
So, I guess they are slowly getting a handle on this but it really shouldn't be a thing.
And the cut and paste responses to those bad reviews is a really bad idea Barton. Not very personal.
Anyway, my dealings with them.
The website is really funky, so pay attention when ordering as it tends to pre-populate your order, particularly if you are ordering multiple items.
It did this to me, it pre-populated a strap size that I didn't notice so I got the wrong size.
I kept it anyway as a spare and now I pay very close attention when I order.
I also keep getting direct e-mails with discount codes sent to me but when I attempt to enter them they don't work. Which is annoying.
I did e-mail Barton about this and got no response. Which is very poor.
I was also under the impression that if you signed up to the website then it resulted in free shipping but again, that function is not working for me.
So, like I said, the website is funky, pay attention.
The watch straps, bands, whatever you want to call them, are pretty good. That's the good news, right?
I buy the one-piece nylon NATO straps and I'm happy with the end product completely.
Just not so much with the journey to get there.
If they sort those issues out they really would be top notch with a glowing review page instead of what they actually have.
Bottom line is, I will still buy from them as long as things continue at least how they are.
I recommend the product itself to you, less so the service or the website.

So on June 24th I ordered a black alligator grain leather watch band from Barton Watch Bands, got the confirmation the same day. 2 days pass, I wrote an email to their customer service asking when will I get a tracking number for my order, no response. 4 days pass, wrote another email again, still, no response. 6 days pass and I just lost hope of them shipping my order out so I wrote them a refund email and I have low hopes of them actually giving my money back. Probably never going to buy from Barton Watch Bands again because of the poor customer service and shipping. What really disappointed me is that they state their shipping times are 1-2 days and I get it that sometimes there are a lot of customers buying from the same shop, but atleast write to your customers about their orders or what problems you might be having, some response is better than none.

I made an order #87591163 on the 3rd of May, and received confirmation from the company that it was shipped. Since then, the last update I received from the shipping company USPS was that the package was accepted in the US on the 9th of May. No updates whatsoever since then from USPS or Barton.
I started contacting Barton since the end of May with generic replies received and only one reply that stated it will send the order again. No new tracking number was received. I sent multiple follow ups while being completely ignored by this sham company and they are happy to send spam emails and hollow offers.
I hope this message is sent to any potential buyers, this company has a nice website but it is not legitimate and they will scam you. Please be aware

I've worn a lot of smartwatches/watches with a lot of different straps in my life but this Barton Watch band is the only one I ever had problems with. At the end of a day wearing one for my apple watch I had a serious rash on my wrist right under the strap. Never had such a thing ever from anything, not even any cheap watchband from amazon.
Go invest your money somewhere else!

Best customer service team I’ve dealt with in a very long time. I screwed up my order, all my fault, they immediately fixed the issue without asking for the incorrect product back first ! They even sent out a pre paid envelope to return the wrong bands. It was smooth and fast and very friendly service , A+ !

I made a mistake on my original band order and was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic customer service. Barton sent out a replacement band for me before requiring me to send back the old band. They also provided a prepaid label to make the return an easy process. Great service and great products!

Josh provided a level of service above my expectations and I look forward to receiving my new watch band. My message to customers reading these reviews. Give Barton a go. It's easy to get "annoyed" when things don't go your way, however, be a patient and courteous customer, understand time zones vary and you won't always receive an immediate response to your message. Lastly, remember that shipping times are outside Barton's control. Their products are reasonably priced and they have a good range. Finding a variety of watch bands at retail is now close to impossible. The last thing I want is for watch bands to become even less accessible online. Carry on!

Classic - ive sent 3 emails to Barton customer service over the last month while waiting for my product (expect a 4+ week wait in australia) and the only response i got back was an email asking me to rate them. Paid delivery is terrible, expect month long delay, customer service ignored all communication. Its a shame as the product is actually pretty good, but the service is worse than a fart in a packed elevator
