The app, gyms, and overall everything with Basic Fit is very easy to use. I have been happy with their facilities and services so far :)

In my entire life, I've never seen such incompetence, lack of professionalism, hypocrisy, and impertinence. After paying on "this company's" website, I quickly received an email with a satisfaction survey regarding their services. Several hours later, I received an email with a link to change/activate my password. The link redirects me to a site where I need to provide my email address to receive another link to change my password. And so it goes. The money is gone from my account, but I have no access to the gym.

Basic-Fit IJmuiden is a pretty solid gym overall. It’s a good size, lot of machines, so you’ve got enough options for whatever you wanna train. After the renovation it’s definitely bigger, which is nice, but it doesn’t really feel more organized — if anything the layout could still be better.

The massage chairs and the bodyweight area (push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups) feel kinda randomly placed, could be set up way more practical.

Biggest issue tho is people hogging equipment, especially bench press and cable machines. During busy hours it gets annoying just waiting while someone camps there forever.

Would be nice if they actually enforced some basic rules or did something about that, because it slows everything down. Maybe even add a few more benches or cables.

Also it’s kinda pricey for what you get. Student discounts would help a lot, and the cancellation options could be more flexible too, right now it feels a bit locked in.

Overall still a good gym, just needs better organization, pricing, and less people hogging stuff.

Really good gym, one of the best. Available in 3 european countries, prices are fair, and everything is clean with all the equipment you need.
It does get pretty crowded, and there’s not always staff around. But overall it still feels safe and very well run. Recommend.

For me, everything just works smoothly, and that’s exactly what I look for in a gym membership. Highly recommended.
