Very convenient gym.

Very convenient gym.

It is great and fully equipped with all the necessary equipment for your gym sessions.

The only issue is that it is usually pretty busy, but I guess that's because it is so good.

Going to the gym shouldn't be expensive, and this is why it works so great with Basic-Fit

Predatory pricing but good gyms

The basic fit gyms are very good. Basic, of course but all that you need to retain a baseline level of health. I do however find that the pricing structure is unfortunately very predatory. A €19.99 inscription fee is maybe understandable however after returning to renew my subscription, I do not find it appropriate to charge this fee a second time as I am already in the system (Not to mention this is all automated anyway and thus there is naturally no need to actually charge this fee in the first place but I digress...). They do however hide the fact that when you cancel your contract, you will be subjected to a forced additional 4 week payment of €44 which is completely predatory, unnecessary and leaves a bad taste in the mouth of their clients. Other than that, I think Basic fit can be a good choice though there is room for improvement for sure.

We understand that costs and cancellation policies can sometimes be unclear and frustrating. Please note that when you cancel your membership, there is a required notice period of four weeks, during which a fee of €44 may still be charged. We will take your feedback seriously and look into how we can improve our communication to make this clearer for everyone.

Regarding the sign-up fee: unfortunately, this fee is charged again if you choose to register anew, since you are no longer an active member once your membership has been canceled.

Additionally, we are required to keep your data for the Dutch tax authorities, even after your membership has ended.

We appreciate your feedback and hope you continue to see value in our services.

Om je account te kunnen activeren, is het belangrijk dat je de app downloadt via de Play Store of de App Store. Zodra je de app hebt geïnstalleerd, kun je je account activeren en gebruik maken van alle functies.

Inscription complicated

Hey Basic fit. I like your club. You send me an email to evaluate your inscription process. It was complicated. I already was member and just wanted to resubscribe. First I couldn't find my club because the postal code was not set correctly. You then offered to chose between IBAN payment or card or PayPal, when you chose payment per card the button to pay doesn't change it's colour and I had to try it several times and then change it. I also had to re-enter all my info although I was already member until few days ago. Although I re-entered them, now I have still my old address in my account. I also don't understand why you are forwarding me to trust pilot to evaluate your inscription process, but if you want so...
