Poor service!!!

We switched to Bell Aliant and Bell Mobility a year and a half ago. We made the move to leave them today. Their cable is constantly freezing and the system has to be reset. Last Monday two Bell employees were working on the pole in front of our house and inadvertently cut the wires to our house. We called for service and they insisted the modem had to be replaced and wouldn’t listen. We had no service for a week and they lied about the service sending a new modem. They refused to properly credit us for lack of service and they were rude. The technicians are nice but not the rest of the employees. I don’t recommend them in any way. Plus they are more than double the cost of their competitor.

TERRIBLE Customer Service

TERRIBLE Customer Service. I've been over a month trying to simply get a phone and plan for myself. I've gotten so much run around with prices and over charged on my bills, over $900 at this point. I will NEVER again have any service with Bell. Also, the way the phone in customer service speaks to Bell store managers and employees is deplorable. Thankfully the people in person are half decent to deal with, only trying to help and getting no where with the company. Shameful honestly, I'll never ever recommend to any of my family or friends. In fact I'd encourage them all to switch providers.

Even 1 star is too much

Even 1 star is too much. After my father’s passing, I had to settled his cable, internet, cell bill. I also take over the mobile account for my mother, who’s in hospital. Bell made the entire process as painful and difficult as possible. For days shuffling me between a store location to a slew of 800’s. I was transferred multiple times only to have to “validate my identity” over and over, with nothing getting resolved. I had all legal documents in hand (POA, Will, Death Cerrificate), no one there wanted to help. One worker at a Bell Store tried to help and herself was transferred over and over from one department to another. They are all very quick with condolences, but do not help. I’ll be moving my mom’s cell to another provider soon, as I don’t want to deal with their horrid customer service.

Review of Bell Fiber Service Cancellation Experience

I am writing to express my significant dissatisfaction with the level of service i received during the cancellation of my Bell Fiber services. While the Product / Service met expectations ( 85% satisfied with the product itself), the administrative departure process was remarkably unprofessional and rouge.

During my interaction with the customer service representative, i enquired about the refund policy for unused portion of my final bill as Bell charges customers upfront rather than billing in arrear.

The customer service representative, whose name is Cleannie, informed me that she was "unsure" how the refund would be processed or if it would be issues at all. When i challenged the lack of clarity regarding the Bell's policy, the representative's demeanor became defensive, claiming i had not given her the opportunity to explain.
I found this response to be both misleading and evasive. As a customer service agent representing Bell, the agent is expected to provide clear, factual information regarding standard cancellation protocols. Personal uncertainty should not be baseline for a professional interaction.

Stating that one is "unsure" about a core service policy like refunds is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the company's training and standards.

This was a highly unpleasant experience that has diminished my view of the brand. I hope BELL takes the necessary steps to ensure their agents are properly trained with factual policy knowledge rather than offering subjective or ambiguous responses to straightforward cancellation / billing enquiries.

If i could give 0 , i definitely would.

Most Disrespectful Company ( Pathetic Service)

This company definitely does not care about Customers. This is by far the most pathetic, disrespectful company to deal with. On hold for 1 hours and 21 minutes to get an answer ( Second call within 24 hours ) on a situation that I was told would be resolved on the first call.
Canada needs more competition in this space.

Extremely poor service at Bell Expressvu

Contacted Bell TV regarding a problem with my smart cards 9 days ago. Service agent unable to repair but said back office would get back to me in 24 hours. No call. Same problem with same result 2 days later. Same complaint by me 2 days later and learned no request had ever been sent by two agents. Third agent finally sent new smart cards but Bell unable to activate. Worst service ever. Advise NEVER use Bell Expressvu.

Not getting SMS! Terrible service and hidden fees

Since day one, neither my line nor my husband’s line reliably receives SMS messages, including verification codes and appointment reminders. Technical support hasn’t fixed the issue. ALSO Bell charged a connection fee of $80 per line because we were unable to complete the order online due to website problems, and now they refuse to refund the remaining balance. Extremely frustrating and unreliable.

Absolutely horrendous customer service

Absolutely horrendous customer service. Recently made payment arrangements as I made the mistake of upgrading my hardware! Bell charged me 640$ on my old device, when its worth 200$ used. They wouldn't take back my old phone.

My first bill was close to 1000$. Hence the payment arrangements. Now, ive been making my payments as instructed, religiously! Then the calls started, harassing in nature, twice a day, emails threatening to cancel my service, I advised them off my payment arrangement, bell representative yelled at me, told me I didnt know what I was talking about! Wtf? I immediately asked for supervisor, then I was hung up on. Called back to cancel my services, hung up on! Im currently waiting on hold as bell bounces me around again.

This company is the lowest of the low. 3rd world country client service, they will rip you off at any chance they get! Not honour an agreement.

14 years I've been with Bell! Never again.

Avoid Bell India (Canada) at all costs.

Trust me, you'll regret dealing with them. If they don't screw you over at first, wait a bit..100% it will happen.

I believe its their new mission statement.

Don’t use Bell!

I recently switched four accounts over to Bell after being a loyal Telus customer for decades, and my experience has been extremely disappointing.

From the very beginning, I was transparent about my situation. I clearly explained that I would be porting four numbers and that one of those numbers would later need to be changed from a BC number to an Ontario number due to an upcoming relocation. At the time, I was given a price and assured everything was understood.

Now, when I attempt to make that exact change—something Bell was fully informed about in advance—I’m being told that my bill will increase by an additional $40 per month for the remainder of my contract simply because of the number change. This feels completely unreasonable and misleading.

It’s frustrating to make a major switch based on information provided upfront, only to have the terms effectively changed afterward. What should have been a straightforward process has turned into a costly and unnecessary complication.

Overall, this experience has left me feeling misled and undervalued as a customer. I expected far better transparency and consistency, especially when bringing multiple accounts over. By the way the contract buyout is over $4500. I’m counting down the days until their contract ends.
