When an Indian guy called “David” calls you, but when you tell him you can’t understand him then tells you there’s no one else who can assist… you run.
They have double charged me this month so, of course, they don’t want to be understood.
Use at your own risk. It is my suspicion they’re selling user data to scammers.

I'm from Denmark, on my way to New Zealand, and had a 12-hour layover in Adelaide. In order for me to walk around Adelaide, I had to have Data, so I could find my way around and back to the airport again. So I signed up with Belong. What they didn't tell me, was that I had to cancel the subscription. I thought it was a one time thing, that would cancel itself, which now means, that I have paid for 11 months of the SIM-plan, without having used it. The customer service on their website is very unhelpful, and all I see is the money I've lost, without even having used it. I used it for ONE day, ONE day only, and did not receive ANY emails at all. I'm very disappointed with them and don't recommend anyone to sign up with them. They're just trying to take your money..

Just changed my family of 5 over to Belong with the hope of better connectivity than we had with Optus. Fairly straight forward set up and customer service were pretty good when i needed them, no waiting and seemed to have an idea. Quick transfer from old telco, less than 30 mins, but told the promised data speeds may take up to 36hrs to come in due to the transfer process??
UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE
I have just got off the phone with one of the supervisors at 1300 235 664. He is escalating my complaint to the complaints team and assures me I will have a response within 48hrs, I have no faith in this actually happening so decided to send this email as a backup. All I want to do is cancel the five sims I have activated over the last 48hrs for my family and get a refund. My reason for wanting a refund is that I am unable to receive faster download speeds than 1mbps (yes,1) at my home location. This problem affects all the phones we have including iPhones 7, 11, 11 pro max, SE (2022), and 13 pro. Since initially activating the first phone I have been told on varying occasions that the reasons for the poor speeds are,
1. Even though the number is activated it will still take up to 48hrs for the speeds to kick in?
2. There are 3g outages in the area that may affect the 4 and 5g signal?
3. There are 4 and 5g outages in the area, but no one knows when or why they started, exactly what area they're in or when they will finish
4. The current bad weather in Queensland is affecting the speeds.
5. Just pop down to Telstra and buy a signal booster.(only costs about $1000 for the basic one)
These were all suggested after the laborious identification process and completing the standard cx list items of problem solving. It's obvious the operators are trained in reading a script and little else even though they were very polite about there inability to do anything. It was also obvious, to me at least, that it is a problem with coverage and not the phone itself, 5 phones, all unable to receive downloads in excess of 1mbps within a certain area. I went to the beach this morning, about 5 k’s away and received 135mbps, no problem. My address is well within both 4 and 5g coverage areas.
I had a similar problem to this about 8 years age with Vodaphone, after about a week of poor speeds, poor reception and calls dropping out I called them and they cheerfully refunded the cost of the plan that day, that is good customer service. After talking with your operators followed by the supervisor, all I have achieved is a promise to escalate my problem and it will be looked at within the next two days, your website states that it may then take a further 15 days to come up with a solution. I am already angry enough that I have to wait two days where I am unable to attend meetings, download files and conduct general day to day tasks on my phone in what is usually quite a busy period after the holidays.
Unfortunately I fell for all the claims made on your website and disregarded the majority of reviews I read, which were less than complimentary, to put it nicely. Ive spent $275 on these 5 plans for this first month, looks like an expensive lesson for me to have learned.

Complicated process for everything even in this time of modern era. They should make it user friendly. You can not even stop direct debit through the app. You must speak with the support which takes ages. Absolutely disappointing.

They connected my NBN service to the incorrect address (even though I had clarified the address multiple times) causing a further delay in having internet at home, also because of this the modem was delivered to the wrong address. When talking to the call center (located overseas) they assured me that it was being delivered to the right address (even though they had only changed the address moments earlier and delivery redirections cannot be made once a delivery is on board for delivery. so now I have to wait until tomorrow only to have to call them again to tell them that the modem has not been delivered so they can send one out to the correct address. I have been a belong customer for many years and this level of customer service is very disappointing.

Can’t even use my data in my own apartment in Sydney NSW. Calls drop out as well yet I have been with Belong for over 5 years. Haven’t swapped the apartment or the phone yet Belong doesn’t want to take accountability and say the service has got worse, yet the call centre is in India

Was on 60$ plan for 50mbs then it went to $69 and now $80 for 50mbs download speeds . With poor customer service and a web based support charging 80$ is ludicrous. When u ask for a pro-rata refund, get told we are. Subscription based service .
Thanks for the offer, moved to superloop at 60$ for 50mbs

Customer service was great. Helped me with my questions and problems. He was patient and respectful throughout the call.

Pay that extra $10 and get another service. Horrible to setup with bugs and spent hours in a dysfunctional customer service.

The app feels like a D grade version of something from 2010...poor from login to performance. Clunky UI and UX, awful graphically. What's even worse is the terrible CX overall. When you call belong they don't even know if you're calling from the phone number in their service, the website makes claims their operations can't support and supervisors at the call centre (all in India) have ZERO authority to provide satisfactory customer solutions. I'll be changing providers next week when my postpaid period ends

Do yourself a favour and don't connect the nbn with belong. $65 for unlimited 25, yet had numerous drop outs and slow internet at times. Started of ok, but by the time i left i was done with them. New supplier is faster and cheaper. Belong also charged me for 18 days even though they were no longer the retailer of the nbn wholesaler. Speaks volumes about the greedy corporate greed. When you change retailers with electricity, the old mob don't get to keep charging for what they are no longer supplying. Just dont use them.
Update after belongs response.
Notice that they don't mention not refunding me or anyone for the days we still have left on the month we have pre paid for. Speaks volumes. Also that they don't read through what they type out. So all fluff no meaning. "With us" im assuming they should of added.

Finally connected, however, not only are Belong charging me for a whole month when they couldn't connect me for 15 days, but also charging me at a higher tariff than agreed! Trying to sort through the "Help Chat" was even worse! What a complacent aweful company to deal with!

Offers up 250mbs 400GB download for $70 and provided 14- 22mbs on 3G/4G network. My circles sim through optus gets up to 174mbs and generally over 110mbs everyday on the 3g/4g network.
They have limited the speed (well telstra has) because its not the 3G/4G network or the phone used.
I was paying $30 for 20mbs unlimited on Felix but needed more speed
Back to Felix for 20mb unlimited for $35

2 weeks before moving home, I contacted Belong to arrange continuation of service. The consultant said I couldn't start a new service before ending the current service, which seem ridiculous (surely some people have more than one house)! I tried online to arrange the transfer however, after putting in the new address the webpage was just left hanging, (repeatedly). I e-mailed & received several replies however on the day of disconnection I still had no service at the new address although there had been access to the address. I called Belong & was transferred 3 times & each time had to re-verify all my details & re-explain the problem & repeatedly told to do the transfer online, (it still hangs when I try)! I moved on 1st July & today 6th after chasing up have been told that a technician won't be attending until 13th July & service won't commence until sometime after that date! What should be a simple, straightforward matter has become frustrating & stressful. I have been a Belong customer for both mobile & internet for years and have put up with more than a fair share of outrages & lack of service. However, this is dreadful customer service!
Re reply; Starting a live chat will not change the fact that I won't have internet for 2 weeks after I move in, ONE MONTH after I started the process, your response isn't worth anything.

Don't do it.
Overcharged.
Useless customer service.
Slow speeds.
ASIC, what are you guys even doing? Shut this joke of a company down!
Response to Belong.
You had 6 months to stop these overcharges from occuring. I rang literally every month, was told it was being escalated,... and then had to ring back the following month because I was once again overcharged.
I have transferred all my services to Aussie Broadband, and I would never waste my time or money with Belong ever again. You have been hands down one of the WORST companies I have dealt with in many years. I actually have no idea how you are still in business. Period.
Why don't you just spend the effort you make here on attempted damage control on actually providing your services correctly in the first place?
It is not exactly rocket science.
