Excellent customer experience
My experience purchasing this mattress from bensons from start to finish was faultless throughout. The team in store delivered a great customer experience, knowledgeable, happy to listen, help and advise my son with choosing a mattress that suited his needs and showed great skill at engaging with him and providing options (not always easy with a 16 y/o who already knows everything anyway…). Great communications after purchase from delivery team and delivered with ease. Very happy that we chose Bensons.

Worse experience with delivery services, I paid for delivery and fitting, my cupboard, fitted in wrong place didn’t explain properly at first, no common sense.

Ashford Store
Wendy at the Ashford store was incredibly helpful. I thought that initially I wanted a soft bed but she encouraged us to try some of the firm beds and we were surprised how comfortable they were! She was very friendly and welcoming.

We turned up about 10 minutes before…
We turned up about 10 minutes before the store was closing (due to bad traffic) and, even though the guy I'm sure wanted to get home he still gave us his full attention and good service. Didn't rush us in the slightest. This prompted us more so to make our purchase from him.

Fantastic in-store service, delivery needs work
The staff member (Jon) who helped us did a fantastic job, gave us great advice and didn't put any pressure on us.
The only reason this isn't 5 stars is due to the delivery. The delivery team delivered our mattress, took our old one away, and said they'd be back up to take a photo.
They never came back, forgetting to deliver an item and leaving some of their equipment behind.
The in-store team rectified this without issue though, and I was able to collect the missing item from in-store that same day (another great encounter with Jon again).

Next time I will order from somewhere else or online.
This time I made the mistake of buying the most expensive Tempur Cloud pillow on the market from the store and was told that they cannot replace or refund it under any circumstances. My neck has been worse since using the pillow. The same pillow that you try in the store felt completely different to the one I brought home as it had probably been worn in and softened over a long period with several members of the public trying it (despite the reason for not being able to return it: being unhygienic!) After recently buying two beds from the same store I would expect better customer service and in retrospect have since learned to my regret, that had I order it online I would have had a 30 day trial period!
