Easy process, made better by the employee
We had a great time with the employee. They were massively helpful and let us try the bed machine so we could find out what kind of mattress we needed. She also provided some recommendations for mattresses that might help with my joint issues and chronic pain. Overall a really easy experience made better by the helpful staff. We think that the staff member who helped us probably deserves a desk for her efforts!

Whilst friendly and polite
Whilst friendly and polite, our customer assistant was vague on many issues and gave us incorrect pricing only picked up when the order was being processed and some charges were not explained either until this. He did apologise, but this wasn't good enough.

Shocking
Shocking. Ordered a new mattress, was given a delivery date. Was told that would receive time slot 3 days before. Rang 2 days before as no delivery slot sent, then to be told they cancelled my delivery slot. I didn’t receive any notification at all from Benson for bed. We added mattress recycling to order but wasn’t aware had to pay otherwise order delivery get cancelled. I understand if outstanding payment got bed but it was for recycling

Went into your Gloucester store today ,when I asked the sales man for advice about what bed would be suitable for my hip and back problems I was told in his words I'm not a Dr I sell beds,I did state I thought he might know ,I found his attitude rude and unprofessional at which point I told him ,big mistake I was going to spend at least £2,000 on my new bed your loss I will be going elsewhere, and left the shop,I must say with staff attitudes like this I'm not surprised the company is struggling to stay trading

Delivery today was good
Delivery today was good, Slightly after appointed timeslot but I was contacted and informed of the delay. Driver and assistant were polite, driver explained about letting the mattress rest etc. A very good experience with Bensons from the shop, purchasing and the delivery today. Well done!!
