This is the second bed we have bought from Bensons. So far we are happy with it. Sales assistant in the shop was very helpful. The delivery drivers were nice too.

Misleading “Free Delivery” and Poor Communication
When I asked in the store, I was told that delivery to my doorstep was free of charge. However, I was then charged around £60 to have the bed taken to my room of choice,which did not include assembly.
There was also poor communication regarding assembly. I was not informed that assembly was excluded, and only later found out that it would cost an additional £100. Had this been made clear from the beginning, I would have opted out of paying the extra delivery fee altogether.
I spent nearly £1,400 in-store and paid in full, so this experience was extremely disappointing. Advertising “free delivery” feels misleading when there are significant additional charges that are not clearly explained upfront.

Fine and dandy!
The sales process was excellent and we ended up with the mattress we needed at a very good price. The delivery went well. The guys arrived on time having given us plenty of notice. The new mattress was put exactly where we wanted and the old mattress stored in the garage for me ready for recycling.
