Sales Team in Norwich were very helpful but we had issues with the delivery.

One of the delivery team carried the largest box alone, despite it stating on the box it required two people as it was bulky and weighed 50KG, and the box was subsequently dropped. The headboard was damaged in the process which we discovered upon opening it and now have to arrange for a replacement headboard which wastes more of our time and requires more time off work for the replacement delivery, and has set us back in our renovation.

The team were very polite and professional, from the moment I visited the shop to the delivery of my mattress. The sleep expert, Sinead, who assisted me was patient, attentive and very helpful. She took the time to understand my sleeping and comfort needs and helped me choose a mattress that was right for me.

Although there was a fairly long wait between production and delivery, the regular updates were reassuring.

The delivery men were equally courteous and professional. They were more than happy to remove their shoes and wear shoe covers to protect my new carpets.

Overall, I had a positive experience and appreciate the excellent customer service.

Took a lot of time to ensure I had correct pillow to start, then undertook the programme for assessing the firmness of bed, then helped choose Ned and discussed with me that it looked like I sank too much into one mattress more than the other and showed me via two photos that a different pillow showed I lay straighter on a bed I didn't sink into as much. As I say friendly but professional, very knowledgeable and helpful.
The assistant was also very helpful two days later on the phone following my need to quiet something.

The sales member was very helpful, she gave us advise on the two types of mattress we were looking at, without being anything but professional. She explained the differences in both types and allowed us plenty of time to decide without any pressure at all.

I was under no pressure to buy and could try the mattresses at my own pace. The experience was helpful and pleasant which resulted in a purchase.

Visited on Sunday 11th October 2026, looking for a replacement mattress. Judy came to our assistance within seconds of walking in, and quickly suggested we used their air mattress technology set-up to map out our individual pressure points when lying in our normal sleeping positions, depending on varying firmness settings ranging from extra firm down to soft. Our results were discussed in full. We were then given a pillow type of our choice, and a few different style beds/mattresses were suggested for us to try out (in line with our results). At all times we were allowed to think about each bed in turn and how comfortable it felt, before moving on to the next; there was no feeling of being pressurised into making decisions. The whole experience was ~1.5 hours, but Judy was very thorough and gave us all the information we needed; pricing structures, offers, delivery lead times (less than one week with the mattress we purchased), care/maintenance, recycling service, guarantees, returns/policies. Overall, we were very pleased with our purchase and are looking forward to delivery this coming Friday.

My only gripe with Benson for Beds, nothing to do with Tina, is the charge of £79 for delivery PLUS £50 to put the bed together and take the rubbish away.. £79 I just about accept if it includes putting the divan base and headboard together etc but the fact its an extra £50 takes the p***. Just greed on behalf of Bensons! Needless to say, I have just paid the £79. Madness!

Debbie the Sales Assistant was knowledgeable,helpful but not over pushy. I think that after spending a substantial amount of money the charge for delivery is a bit steep and could be made clearer at the time.

Friendly greeting on entering the store established a good rapport. More importantly the salesperson was immediately receptive to our needs and wishes and strove to develop a range of options to meet our situation.
