We met Sheraz in the Stevenage store who was brilliantly helpful and helped us choose a mattress we liked. We weren't able to buy instore as our children were getting tired and hungry but I was able to order online. But Sheraz's advice was key to us making a purchase

My experience of buying an expensive…
My experience of buying an expensive mattress from bensons has been mixed. I chose bensons because I thought they had a good level of expertise. I went in store in Hertfordshire where they had a tool selector. The staff knowledge was poor about mattress selection. The tool selector was not offered or used. The attitude was that it is all a matter of personal comfort. I was sold an extra firm mattress totally inappropriate for my weight and small build Consequently not a good nights sleep at all. The 40 night guarantee was honoured . So I went to a different store to select another mattress . The experience was better the selector tool was used and identified that I needed a firm mattress not extra firm . This could have been revealed on the first visit . The reordering of the mattress was very good from Stevenage store both deliveries were excellent.

Friendly store & delivery staff
Friendly staff at the Stevenage store when hey welcomed my daughter and I and assisted us to find the type of mattress she was looking for. No pushy selling but expert advice. We returned a couple of days later to place the order and the process was simple and quick. We opted for the mattress removal option and the guys that delivered the new mattress/took the old where friendly, quick and clearly knew what they were doing. I would recommend 10/10 Bensons For Beds. A happy customer ☺️

The staff were excellent
The staff were excellent, exactly what my partner and I wanted. They were very knowledgeable about current discounts, details of clearance items, delivery options etc. All without being overly pushy. We mainly spoke to Jake and he was very aware and attentive to our needs, we had already made a decision on what bed frame and mattress we wanted so he focused his attention on explaining delivery and financing options to us which was very helpful.

Service and quality
Jake helped us with out mattress/bed frame shops we've been to many other shops in person and looked online. His customer service was excellent and helped us save some money too! Their own brand mattress was exactly what we were looking for and affordable considering we've tried other more expensive options but didn't match the quality. So thankful for Jake and Sophie who helped us on our visit before this one.

Stevenage branch, wonderful experience.
The staff at the Stevenage branch, particularly Sophie, were very knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful; she let me try out various mattresses. There was no pressure, and they let me take my time.
The first mattress that I purchased I found to be not as comfortable as I thought it would be. I also have a medical condition, and the new mattress did not work for me, so I went back to the store, and Sophie helped me to choose a different mattress and she was happy to exchange the matter for me without any penalties I am a pensioner and I felt very comfortable and confident dealing with Benson for bed Stevenage branch

Great Service
All Staff were good and acknowledged us making us feel welcome. Paul guided us through our mattress choices and was extremely professional and also a very nice person to deal with, no hard sale just a really understanding nature and warming manner.
