I visited this post office Yesterday to exchange $255 and received only 160 euros. The exchange rate displayed was 1.205, so I expected to receive more. During the transaction, I specifically asked the staff member if that was the correct rate, and she confirmed that it was. However, after leaving and doing the calculation myself, the numbers didn’t add up.

I later went to another branch and asked them about it—they told me the difference was due to a commission. This commission was never mentioned to me at the time of the transaction.

This feels like a dishonest and misleading practice. If there are extra charges, they should be communicated clearly before taking the customer’s money. In my opinion, this is a cheating company. My advice: never go there. Be aware and protect yourself.

I had the similar bad experience with the company as everyone else has mentioned. The operator told me rate is 1.15. I gave her 400£ and received 347 euros for it. I initially thought this was a mistake!!. When i questioned it. She became very rude. I wish there was some way to report the unethical practice of this company

They are NOT ‘Best and Fast’ Change! They are the WORST and MOST DISGUSTING establishment with RUDE staff who will SCAM you out of your money!

As other reviewers have mentioned, despite the rate they display and verbally communicate they will deduct a very large proportion as commission without telling you upfront.

We asked to change £100 GBP and were advised the rate was 0.97 so we proceeded. The advisor took our money through the barrier and gave us €78,40. We were puzzled as it was a lot lower than exchanged in relation to the rate advised. We queried it and she said this was correct and when we said it couldn’t be. She then confessed there was a commission applied which equated to approx €22. We said you did not tell us this, she said that it was within Italian law. We said we didn’t want to go ahead with the exchange and would like to get our £100 back but she wouldn’t not hand it back and that the transaction was complete.

This is essentially theft. She got very aggressive, pointing her finger in my face and started raising her voice in front of our two young children who became scared.

This money exchange is not only scamming people, it’s training its staff to be vile to customers.

DO NOT USE THEM - SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

P.s every other review website; trust pilot, yelp, trip advisor etc, all say the same….. SCAMMERs!!

👎🏻😡Our first day in Florance we got rubbed. Absolutely Ridiculous exchange office They gave you wrong information and charge They charged %20 commission you without your consent. I gave 300 GBP and received 258 Euro. I wanted to cancel and refund but they would not do it.

I asked for the exchange rate, and they told me it was 1.10. It was high but I accept it. The amount was supposed to be €319, but I only received €251. When I refused and asked for a refund, they told me the money was already taken, so I had no choice but to accept their commissions. This is unacceptable! Avoid this place at all costs! I will be reporting them to consumer protection authorities.

Thieves. Stay away. They do not disclose the awful exchange fees in advance.

Lucky to get one star as there no choice for none. They will rip you off with commission and not inform you. I changed £80 and got back €62 when I should have got at least €85. Very bad service as the guy who served me started to argue and be rude to me without explaining to me there will be extortionate charges. AVOID EXCHANGING MONEY AT THIS PLACE!!!!
Go to local small independant kiosks who are much more friendly and give better rates without any commision.
You will also get a reply says it's all legal. and T&C are displayed but not clear and explained to you by the counter staff, so JUST AVOID COMPLETELY!!!!!!

Stay a way and be careful i want their last day i just want to ask about the rate the lady change the money for me and take more than 300euro and when i told her why you change ! I just adk you how much the rate she said sense you gave me money it mean you agree

This is a total scam. We changed 200 dollars and they gave us 137 euros. There were unknown commissions and taxes. The lady lyied and hide this to us. They won’t get the money back even if you shout this thieves.

Bunch of crooks, by the time I realized the 20% commission and wanted to reverse the transaction, it was too late, that is, the window was abruptly closed and I was sent on my way. STAY AWAY!

A total SCAM! STAY AWAY from this business! Utterly disgusting staff! Exchanged my money in Verona-via Mazzini,5 and the cashier did not disclosed their commission fees. I was charged 109.28 Euros in commission fees! The cashier totally covered the screen when I put in my pin ( I was told that exchange rate depends on my bank and I thought she was covering the screen so she does not see my pin but all a scam!) If I did not ask what was the other number in my receipt, she would not have told me that this is the total value that I paid. Not even ten seconds that I queried this that I then asked her that I want to cancel the transaction but she told me not possible as this is the policy in all of Italy! All a SCAM! How can this people sleep well at night and feed their family with money coming from scamming people?! I was looking for a police in Verona as I wanted to report them but unfortunately I could not find one and my husband was not feeling so great. If anyone experienced this, please report them to the police. This company should not be allowed to legally operate!

Very high Commission and don't user friendly too. I faced very bad experience with them in italy. They don't disclose anything before transaction. Highly recommended not to take change from them.

Absolute ripoff
. Apply discretionary fees. 9an was. Offered 261e for £300 at 9pm was offered 310e for £300. Always ask for a quote before exchanging.
