I'm waiting on a refund for over £1000 (2 weeks ago) and the radio silence and my constant emails seem to fall on deaf ears, when call my number is barred. The website outlined a policy for refunds which it ignores. Despicable service. If 30 day silence is reached I am going legal

This company is absolutely abysmal. Nearly 4 weeks waiting for my item. Didn’t bother telling me that it was pre order until I contacted them. I have to chase them up several times. Making excuses for why they’re not replying or sending me my item. Them not getting back to me for days. Sending the wrong tracking information. Still waiting for my item after them telling me it’s next day delivery! What a joke of a company. Avoid at all costs.

Placed order for item shown in stock at the time, had email confirmation of order and payment taken. A week later had nothing regarding dispatch etc. Rang customer care who were very helpful but told me the item was now out of stock and a batch order would not be placed until end of Jan making my order arrive no earlier than mid Feb. Wasn’t made aware of this as had no email notification but my money was taken. Asked for a refund as the item was a birthday gift. The lady did suggest I held on incase one was returned as it was a queue line system for items to be re-dispatched. Very bizarre - would avoid unless wanting to wait 6 weeks for goods with no email communication.

Placed order for goods that were showing as "In Stock" on the website. Website states that orders for goods that are "In Stock" will be shipped on day of order if order placed before 2pm. Money was taken from my account immediately. When after 5 days I had still not received an email confirmation of shipping I contacted the company only to be told that the goods were not actually in stock and told that the website states that they will try to ship within 14 days for out of stock items. Having gone through the website again there is absolutely no mention of this, plus as I needed the item fairly urgently I would never have placed the order had I realised that the company did NOT have stock of the item I ordered. 10 days later having heard nothing more from the company I cancelled order and went too another supplier. This company are taking orders and money under false pretences. Not impressed at all.

Ordered a Barbour Trooper waxed jacket to replace an 11 year old one that was most definitely showing its age! Ordered on Tuesday arrived on Thursday. Perfect fit and quality and exactly the same as the original which had been well worn and loved over the years! The most impressive part was the price at £147.95 this was considerably lower than anywhere else I looked. I was a bit dubious, at that price, I thought maybe to good to be true, but with free return - nothing to lose! Absolutely delighted with purchase and will definitely use this company again.

Tried to buy a Barbour Lutz jacket off the peg in a retail store in Belfast and they wanted £249. Had a quick Google and seen average online price of £189. A little hesitant when BITC had a price of £147 with free delivery. A case of too good to be true? But took a punt and I'm glad I did. They estimated 2 to 3 working days delivery, but due to some Royal Mail issues outside of their control, arrived in perfect condition a week after order. I was kept informed of order dispatch and tracking all the way along, so didn't bother me. I will definitely use again and recommend to friends and family. They must have the best selection of Barbour, at the most reasonable prices in the UK. Good job.

I recently purchased a Joules Miranda navy bird jumper (pheasant!) from Best in the Country.
I just wanted to say how impressed I was from start to finish. Great customer service and communication and amazingly quick delivery, 2 days from purchase to delivery! The jumper is absolutely lovely, extremely pleased with it and a huge bonus it was in the sale.

Ordered, paid a discounted price, it came when it said, correct garment, true size, it fitted.

Disappointed to say the least. Ordered, appreciated it said dispatched within 14 days, more than happy to wait, 21 days later, still nothing. Emailed them and they told me it would be dispatched that day and sorry for the delay, still nothing. A week later I emailed and stated I just wanted a refund.. they sent me a dispatched notification. Barbour wellies turned up discoloured and bad condition. Returned and ordered on John Lewis with next day collection. Won’t be using again.

Just received my Caledonia jacket and I am elated with it. I have owned ( and still own) several wax jackets from several different brands ( very famous and expensive ones) and this one trumps them all! The quality and the features are great, fit is perfect and it arrived early! My new armor against the wet, cold winter weather in Virginia! Can’t wait to wear it.

Purchased a 'Prestbury' wax coat which is to replace one I have owned for many years. Love this jacket looks good for casual wear as well as performing in inclement weather. Ordered Saturday arrived Tuesday morning.
I am normally a large but made sure I ordered a medium size as this particular style of coat comes up quite large. Excellent price great service , thank you

I bought a pair of boots online. When they arrived they were slightly damaged (through no fault of theirs). However, the customer service I received was fantastic. Quick responses and good communication. And I received my refund.

Bought my wife a Barbour wax jacket, extremely quick delivery. Unfortunately had to return for a different size but the exchange was effortless, free returns and the replacement jacket only took a couple days to arrive. Would definitely recommend!

I ordered a Barbour Hartwith wax jacket in rustic brown (this was the only site I could find it in rustic brown and in the right size). Having seen some negative comments, I was a bit apprehensive but sure enough it arrived a few days after I had placed the order and is exactly what I wanted! Absolutely delighted with the item and the service!

Again as previous reviews, I was dubious about purchasing from Country Edit but I am glad I did as from start to finish the service was brilliant.

Unfortunately had to return purchase and again the service was great, easy to return (free) and the refund was in my account a couple of days of receipt.

Ordered a Barbour jacket at by far the best price on the internet. I was a little hesitant to order due to reading some very poor reviews but am very glad that I did. The jacket is excellent and was delivered to my door less than seventeen hours from my online order.
This is without doubt the best online retailer I have ever purchased from and would highly recommend.

I ordered a Barbour Beaufort Wax Jacket and follow the guidance from Bestinthecountry web page I was able to order the right size, and as because the item was in stock it was next day delivery, very pleased with the outcome

Order placed 10 days ago money been taken from my account and since then nothing. No email to say order dispatched. Nothing. I’ve tried emailing and messaging on Facebook messenger. The number has charges to call so my phone won’t connect.
As it stands I feel as if I’ve been stolen from!
