Fantastic service from Best in the Country! Ordered a Barbour Sapper waxed jacket in their sale on a Thursday and it was delivered free of charge the next day. The jacket is superb, and the communication and paperwork received was all top-notch. I highly recommend and will be buying from then again.

Be careful to check with them that the images they have on their website are current. What I received in my order was different from what was advertised.

Definately the "Best in the country" i placed an order with this provider at 15:15 on Friday 6th and the item was with me just after 9am on Saturday 7th.
No extra payment made for special delivery, this was their standard 48 hour delivery by post office.
Item was well packed, and in great new condition. I will definately be using this service again and pass them on to friends and relatives 100% A*****

Ordered at around 7pm on Sunday evening, delivered by first class Royal Mail on Tuesday morning - top rate service! The Barbour product is top quality, too.

Unfortunately, in the current climate customer service in many organisations, has drastically deteriorated, in fact become non existent with people working from home, but not so with bestinthecountry.

I purchased a Barbour jacket from their website for our spring hike. Waited for 12 days with no confirmation of payment nor shipment notification what so ever until I wrote to them but only found out they need to purchase each item elsewhere on demand! Then a few days later I was told they can't get hold of any stock and asked if I want to wait for another half month!! What a waste of time!!! Rude customer service as well. Immediately asked for refund.

Fantastic customer service! I ordered a pair of Ariat boots as they had the best price here and free delivery. They arrived quickly and well packaged, unfortunately they weren’t the right size but Olivia replied to my email immediately to resolve this and even better they offered a free return!! Would definitely recommend this company and I will be buying from them again.

Absolutely terrible company!! Said the item was in stock would receive in 3 days only to find out it’s not in stock and I didn’t receive over a week later they offer a refund!! Complete waste of time!! AVOID.

They are taking orders for items which they have no way of fulfilling. See other reviews - AVOID.

Ordered on 9th, told not in stock on 13th. Unacceptable, this item was needed urgently for an elderly relative.

More than impressed. Ordered a Barbour Bristol wax coat on Tueday afternnon and it was with me the following day. Good discount and free delivery and ease of use website. No compalint from me, I will be happy to use them again.

Excellent Customer Service - emailed to check on an order for Barbour Hood as I didn't get a confirmation - received instant reply from Mark Woolley with date of dispatch and Royal Mail Tracking Number - item was delivered within 3 working days - delighted with item - no hesitation to use again.

Terrible service. Ordered a barbour jacket from them and 4 days later there was no shipping info. I called up and they didnt have my order on their system. I had paid in full and still nothing. They claim to have sent the order but it is now late for a birthday.

Go to barbour directly, not worth the hassle.

Ordered my seeland kraft force jacket on weds afternoon arrived Fri morning had a query by e mail which was answered in less than 20 minutes by a lovely lady called Olivia very helpful and informed, no idea what these other jokers are going on about I wouldn't hesitate to recommend best in the country I saved a small fortune on the jacket and the whole transaction was seamless 5 stars
