My first (chosen slightly randomly) and main investing platform. While they will not be the cheapest and there can be the occassional tech issue over the last 8 years I have found them a very reliable service. In addition their free coaching sessions are second to none with a very handy summary follow up that condensed the main points that came up. Colin was knowledgeable and helped firm up plans I had already been thinking about and was able to answer almost everything I threw at him. Would highly recommend especially for those with prior investing experience but suitable for all.

All my questions were answered fully with an email afterwards to supply the requested information.

This was the first time I had booked a free appointment with an Investment Coach and I was very pleased with the whole process and the information that he gave me. I had a few specific questions that couldn't be answered by reading general information about investing, and I wanted feedback from an investments professional rather than trusting my questions to AI.

Marc was very clear, helpful and friendly. He showed me data relating to my questions that was really useful in aiding me to make my own informed choices moving forward. He listened when I explained my perspective and what I was hoping to achieve, and I felt that he understood what I was getting at and provided meaningful information which aligned with that. In future I will definitely book another session when I feel that I need one for further guidance.

Once again I find myself having to leave another bad review for this investment business. On the 28th May I requested a U.S Nasdaq stock to be added to the trading platform. After numerous chase up calls - still no response or contact from BI after initially being told it looks ok to be added to the platform. Numerous promises of escalation, follow up emails that never come and no contact from BI.

Really enjoyed learning more about shares, the stock markets from Mellisa who shared her knowledge in a friendly, uncomplicated way.

My financial advisor, Colin Murray was extremely informative and he answered all my questions and concerns .I had complete confidence and trust in his communications with me and above all he was very professional and yet very approachable as well.He is an asset to Bestinvest and I would highly recommend him to any prospective investor.

We have been with BestInvest for some time and were not happy with the performance of our very safe investments, which were returning less than inflation. However, we found that BestInvest now offer the ability to buy and sell into portfolios, managed funds, or shares - doing it all yourself. They have very comprehensive information on all the funds they offer, so if you, say, search under Vanguard, it will list all the funds that company offers. We are perhaps unusual in that we do not rely on our SIPP for daily expenditure, so are happy to take the risk of higher volatility in exchange for better returns. Of course, that means if there is a downturn in the market we either have to wait to drawdown, or take a loss. But we like the fact that we are in control and it is obviously up to us to assess what funds might suit us. So we are happy that BestInvest gives you a wide choice, gives you the information to let you choose an investment that suites you and the purchase (or sale process) was very easy. We also had a couple of people at BestInvest - Lorraine and Taylor - who were really helpful. BestInvest staff cannot give advice on where to invest, nor do the transaction for you, but as it was the first time we had done this they pointed us in all the right directions on the web site to enable us to do it ourselves.

My telephone consultation with Melissa Baldwin was an extremely helpful and positive experience:
- a good balance between practical and pragmatic assessments of my investments and a well paced and empathetic approach.
- I did not feel rushed or pressured.
- the above being especially helpful because of my inexperience and level of anxiety.

The call handler Casey was superb. She gave me all the information I asked for and explained all the queries I raised in clear way and answers.
She is professional courteous and polite.
