Tried to claim for roof repair this morning and held on for half an hour while the call handler was making it as difficult as possible not to send a roofer in the end the excuse was we didn't phone early enough as we noticed a little water before we went to bed as the rain had stopped we were not sure where it came from in the morning the place was soaked then he told me if they send a roofer i would need to pay myself what is the point of taking out a plus policy paying in full when they just take your money and don't give the service your paying for asked to speak to a manager who was surprisingly unavailable i asked to cancel the policy and refund my balance he couldn't do that either the person I spoke to sounded half asleep and incoherent this company is not fit for purpose i don't know how long it will take to get my partial refund in all the years i have had emergency cover with other firms i have never encountered such bad sevice don't understand how they get five stars

I found Richard to be really helpful when setting up my home, buildings and contents policy. There were two options - a comparison engine for home insurance providers or a more comprehensive 5 Star Defacto insurance policy with Paymentshield. Richard explained the difference between the cheaper policies and the Paymentshield policy that was on offer through the website and it was clear that I was getting much better value for money with the more expensive, but ultimately much better policy. I have a bit more peace of mind now that all my more valuable possessions are covered both at home and when out of the house.

Motor Legal Protection....great product and great value for money...far cheaper to buy direct than on the back of my motor insurance. At least a third of the price!

I have purchased home insurance and home emergency cover from this company at a extremely competitive price. The process was simple too, as well as the cover being extensive. Would definitely recommend their products and services.

Best Price FS have done exactly what they said they were going to do! This was a last minute panic buy but this company delivered. Really easy to buy and the service was excellent. Definitely recommend.

I decided to purchase my car insurance which came on recommendation from a friend and i must say it was the best decision that i have made. The insurance was easy to purchase and cheap! I'll definitely use them again. I wanted to write a review because i hadn't heard of this company before and i think more people should.

Made a claim due to an electrical fault in the house and as a result everything went off. Called them in the early hours of 29th December to report the fault. Requested a timeframe from adviser (Josh) and was told he could not give me one. I informed him that I had a 6 months old baby and there was no heating in the house and was told "this does not change anything", "are you expecting someone at 3.30am in the morning and it's it's difficult being new year's eve tomorrow" in a sarcastic manner. I advised in a sensitive manner that it was not my expectation to have someone to fix the electrical fault in the morning but a timeframe would be helpful.

7.5 hours later, I did't not receive any update. I called again AT 11:00am and spoke to another rude member of staff called Vincent and this one was even ruder and disrespectful. Spoke over me, did not let me finish my sentence and had the audacity to say "you expected someone at 3.30am in the morning and most companies start working at 9am". Yet it was 11am and no updates regarding someone coming to fix the fault and could not use anything in the house.

I decided to cancel the claim and look for paid for an electrician to some out to same myself a lot of stress and frustration.

AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN AND SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF FRUSTRATION DEALING WITH RUDE STAFF NOT REALISING THAT THEY ARE IN THEIR JOBS BECAUSE OF CUSTOMERS.
