**Raw feces in toilet bowl**11360 US Highway 1

11360 US Highway 1, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida 33408-3224 United States

Completely mortified by condition and absolute filth of this hotel. What you are about to read is not an exaggeration as we were truly flabbergasted but what we had experienced.

Upon arrival:
Fire Alarm would not stop going off and after several attempts to fix it, the smoke alarm was removed by request of the manager for the duration of our stay (which is highly illegal!!). There was fieces in the toilet, mold through the room on chairs and pull out sofa etc. The lamps were flickering like a haunted house, the bed was broken and severely slanted to one side, when you sat on it the other side sprung up like a sea saw. There was dirt/crumbs/debris. The phone was dismantled and non functional. There were bug bites as my wife and son have bites all over their bodies. The beautiful bar restaraunt that was advertised on your site has been closed (shut down) for (4) months!!!! When we complained, the manger was rude and offered a room with only a single bed, we went and looked at it and it was dirtier than the first room with a sleeper that was covered in dirt and mold, debris so we had to stay in the first room because there was no other availability. The room Nextdoor must have had the same issue as a crew of cleaning people came In flipping beds and sofa on its sides and completely quarantining the entire room (I am assuming a customer raised holy hell) A pest control company was also in the room treating it under what looked like an emergent scenario. The hotel should be shut down and was a complete health and safety hazard. We are completey shocked that this was representative by Best Western and has horrified us to ever stay on your premises again. I will pressing a complaint to the better business burea and any and all platforms available. I have taken photos and videos of everything described above. This is not going to be a good look for your chain, I expect nothing less than a full refund as this completely ruined our vacation.

Best Western Oak Manor Biloxi

Best Western Oak Manor Biloxi, Ms.
My family and I stay here once a year. Staff and location are great. Makeovers are WAY past due. This year all 3 rooms had an awful odor that Lysol would not cover. The carpet is ancient and needs to be replaced. The mattresses were hard. My main concern with the odor is the possibility of mold or mildew in these rooms. I hope something is done, it would be a shame to change hotels after all these years and good memories.

This hotel brand in Horn Lake MS

When you stay at the Best Western Plus hotel in Horn Lake Mississipi make sure you bring your own towels!!! They have some crazy Policy about towels. I have been staying at this same hotel for over five years and never experienced this Before. I think I’m just gonna stick with the Hilton brand. Calling corporate is a waste of time they will not make it right because these hotels are independently own. This is a really a sad hotel brand!!!

MY WORST NIGHTMARE!

My family and I made prepaid reservations at the Best Western near the Barcelona, Spain airport. The main reason to choose this hotel was the fact that they are US-based so we felt more comfortable staying with a familiar business and the wrong assumption that they care about their guests safety and well-being. We went to the shuttle area at the airport and once their shuttle arrived, a young and petite woman was driving it. So I asked my wife to go ahead and board the van and left my backpack on the shuttle to go along with my grandson to help the driver load our luggage with several heavy pieces. As soon as i stepped down the van and turned towards the back, I heard my wife screaming along with shouting from several people nearby that someone ran inside the van and took my backpack. Unfortunately we were not able to catch the thief and he seemingly had a car waiting for him. All of our cash, credit cards, and several valuable items were in the bag. We had to go to the airport police station which was after midnight at this point. After a long wait, they basically had me fill out some forms but would not pursue anything even though my Apple items showed their location within 5km of the airport. Make matters worse, my grandson’s medication that prevent him from having potentially fatal seizures were also in the bag so after leaving the police station, had to go to an emergency room to get more meds. Got to the hotel around 6 AM in time to change and go to the airport. Since the room and airline tickets were prepaid, we managed to get back home. Saddest part is that we entered a pass the buck of no liability starting with Best Western’s HQ saying that they are not responsible and this is an independently operated hotel and they have to address it. The local hotel stated that the shuttle is operated by a third-party so they cannot be held accountable, and the shuttle company denied any responsibility. We lost nearly $12,000 not mentioning the time and effort to replace all cards, ID, and worst of all, our personal and financial information in my wallet and iPads. This has been a true nightmare exasperated by this business lack of care for the paying customers’ safety and security.

Tried to cancel a reservation

Tried to cancel a reservation, 3 days ahead of reservation date. I had to talk to 4 different people. The address they had on file was a 15 year old address. I had no idea what that exact address was. Even though I entered our current address on the online form, they didnt have it. The last person I talked to was very condesending. We will NEVER book a best western reservation again. I wanted to give zero stars

Good staff, terrible rooms.

Stayed at Best Western in Fredericksburg, Va on Route 3 near 95.

First room they sent me to had not been cleaned or bed made. Not a good start.

Next room hadn't been renovated for what looked like two decades. Patches, painting, plaster fixed, lines didn't match, shower curtain (curtain,2024?) slid down and water soaked floor, no fan in bathroom (!). Pathetic for the money. Kind of embarrassing.

Staff was friendly and helpful, especially Constance Hysell who helped me get something copied last minute (thank you).

Breakfast was good, and they served you. Coffee good.

Rooms, not so much.

Had a family gathering and dinner at the Henbury Lodge Hotel,Henbury,Bristol. This was our fourth visit, but things had changed. My wife is now disabled and has to use a chair. There is no designated parking for Disabled People. There is a makeshift ramp on request(very slippery when wet).No designated Parking to assist wheelchair access from your car. NO DISABLED TOILETS. (Which meant we had to leave early) Two existing toilets very tiny even for able bodied. On leaving the ramp exit was blocked by a residents car which meant we could not access our car. Disabled Badge Displayed. It took three strong men to lift my wife in her chair down the steps away from the entrance of the hotel. Quite appalling in this day and age. Keep away from this place if you have a mobility issue. Thank you.

Company will not honor its lowest price…

Company will not honor its lowest price guarantee for direct bookings. I saw a lower rate on Priceline but booked direct based on this guarantee. They will now not honor the guarantee because I apparently purchased the last room and they cannot see it on Priceline despite me providing screen shots. This is an unfair and deceptive business practice.

Beware of $25.00 deposit SCAM!

Checked into the Best Western in Tonopah, Nevada.
I was charged a CASH $25.00 deposit for the room and and was told I would get it back the next morning. The next morning no one knew anything about a CASH deposit and apparently the girl at the counter is SCAMMING customers. They wouldn't allow a review of the video tape to prove this. Called the manager, the customer service at Best Western, the Attorney General of Nevada, apparently no one cares that there is an employee stealing from customers.

Reward Program Lies

I stayed with BW for three nights to get their 10,000-point Summer Special and signed up for their rewards program. Then they told me I wasn't eligible. It was really scammy.

Diamond status means nothing anymore

I am a diamond member super frustrated by how strict things suddenly are. I had a free night voucher for being loyal/staying at BW. It expired in 6 months. We were not planning to travel for a couple months after expiration. So instead of being able to use it on a more expensive BW hotel, we had to waste it on a $99 one. They should show more loyalty to loyal customers by making those valid for one year and at minimum 8 months.
Then I find, I can’t use my earned points for a reduced rate at BW Long beach convention center. You can’t stay just one night you have to stay two so my points won’t be enough and they don’t seem to offer pay with partial points like the did the last stay. Then the week stay we have booked at the BW in chino won’t let us use points to book a suite. Only to book a basic room. It also used to be free to check in early as a diamond member now they charge at LOng Beach BW. They also upgraded me at most BW on many of our past trips but no longer seem to do that.
Overall, why do I continue staying at BW if the loyalty program is no longer loyal to me?

To room was not that clean

To room was not that clean, the tv smashed. No attention to detail and the staff were nice but could only work with what they had. Couldn’t move room as full but little staff for a full hotel. So after a busy day no tv for my asd son to wind down to. The room doors all need something taking off them as they all stick so doors slamming all night, en-suite then same my son got stuck. The lifts broke as we left and took forever to come and jammed. I was disappointed we paid as much as didn’t feel it was worth it. The toiletries and crocs were nice thanks

Best hotel I have ever stayed at

I spent a week at the Best Western Glō hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. It was a great experience. The rooms were very nice and clean. They were much different than a regular hotel. The floors were not carpet, but either wood or laminate flooring. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. I even liked the pillows. My only complaint was when I went to breakfast, the butter was cold and hard. It would not spread on the bread. If you go to Nashville and want a good hotel to stay in, this is one I definitely recommend ! I also want to commend the desk clerk, Saksham, for being so very helpful at check-in.

Cockroach in my bed

We stayed in the Best Western in Lumberton, NC., July 30, 2024. The next morning after getting out of the bed and moving the covers, I discovered I was sleeping with a cockroach. Yes, it was alive and crawling. I have a video. Also, they charge people $20. Extra if they have a pet for the cleanup. We didn’t travel with a pet but the buttom of the bed shirt was covered in dog hair. I have a picture of it. Needless to say, we canceled our room for the way back from our vacation. My husband did mention about the cockroach when checking out and the only reply he got was… yuck!

Bedbug hotel

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Holiday Hills in Coalville, Utah on July 27, 2024. We had stay at that hotel for years and is a Platinum member and had zero issues until that night. I always look in the bed before I get in them and to my horror was bedbugs and hair in the supposedly clean sheets. I took photos and called the front desk women that was working and told her about what I had seen and asked her to come up and look or I would come down and show her the photos that I had just taken. I went down and she met me by the elevators with another man that was Indian descent. They followed me back up to our room and proceeded to say they cannot be bedbugs because they just bought new mattress and sheets. I told her that I didn't care if they were installed last night that people can bring them in anytime. She was very rude and looked at the bugs and then pinched her fingers together and said they felt grainy and then brushed all the bugs and hair off the bed and said the maids must have dropped the sheets on the floor and it was dirt, I said that disagreed with that comment and she said they were out of other room that night. I told her that we weren't staying in a buggy bed that had hair in it and we wanted our money back and we would travel 1 1/2 hours back to our home then and just refund our money. She told me she couldn't do that, and I would have to call the manager tomorrow. I said that I would, but I wasn't saying in a room with bugs, she was very rude like it was my fault that I told them about the condition of the beds, and they took our money and still haven't refunded one penny. I called our bank to file a dispute also called Best Western Corporate Office and send photos to both. Still waiting for refund. I would never recommend Best Western Holiday Hills in Coalville Utah to anyone. Very unprofessional front desk women and buggy hairy beds. A person should feel safe and not going to pack something home with them after paying their hard-earned cash for a dirty place and not caring about their clients.
