As I m a CARER 4 my brother - who s deaf - i do NOT get any benefits at all ! ! !
I have to help him out a lot !
So i have Monday as I go - £5.15- which is a lot ! Carers get a discount - £1.85 - which is reasonable ! ! ! I ve tried to give my views that i should pay a discount rate to ur staff - but it's been REJECTED !
This is disappointing as I like swimming as got lot of health issues and swimming is the ONLY exercise that I can do ! ! !
Also - High Grove swimming is VERY SMALL - & when they have kids swimming classes - the pool gets sooooooo Sooooooo FULL !
NEEDS A BIGGER POOL - but obviously - lot of government money is needed ! ! !

If you have eligible proof of your carer status, you may be able to apply for a carer membership, which offers access to discounted rates. Please speak with a member of the team at the centre, who will be happy to advise you on the eligibility criteria and the documents required.

The centre is child friendly and the facilities are clean and hygiene. The systems are easy to book the sessions. The customer service is always ready to help and resolves issues on urgent basis.

Gabriela replied to my request for help the same morning. I explained the problem I was having signing in to the Better Health app and waited to hear back.
Later that afternoon, she contacted me because she had noticed my support ticket had been marked as resolved. She wanted to check whether I had managed to sign in.
I told her that the issue hadn’t been resolved. She apologised, looked into it straight away and fixed the problem.
She then sent me an email to make sure everything was working and that I was happy with the outcome.
I really appreciated that Gabriela didn’t just assume everything was fine. She followed up, sorted out the issue and made sure I was happy. Thank you for the excellent customer service.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience at Highgrove Fitness Centre. In particular the reception staff have consistently proved to be rude and alwasy too busy whenever I asked to book any classes.
On 23 June 2026, at around 4pm, I went to book swimming lessons and also swimming sessions during the heatwave week. There was a girl at the reception, and she was extremely rude and basically told us that there was no swimming session available till the weekend. Is this true? Its very had to believe! We didnt argue with her, we just left.
However this was not a good experience, and I would prefer to look at another fitness centre.

Better Gym Highgrove
Better Gym in Pinner is closed this week for refurbishment. I went to the Highgrove gym today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the size and amount of equipment. The staff member 'Tyson' was very curtious, friendly and helpful, he showed me around and answered all my questions very well, making my first experience there a great one. I would definitely recommend this gym to others :)

I have been using Highgrove Gym in London for number of years, and it was getting boring. Decided to do the Thursday morning fitness class led by Jack, and it has been really good - he actually thinks ahead and has themes for each week, all new. Whilst I cannot say staying fit is fun ( I am not crazy) it is no longer boring
